Thanks for the post
Can you ask a Goodreads Librarian to fix it? You will need to get them some additional info. AMMP has a thread on their page I think it is someplace towards the top of the main page. Not sure if TCF does or not.

She hasn't posted in days, and has not chosen a book as far as I can tell.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 948 comments I would send her a PM asap so if she's gone inactive we don't get held back a week in the first week. If you look at her goodreads page it shows her last activity as being on 5/29. Hopefully nothing bad has happened and it's just life getting in the way.

I read all the Agatha Christie books I could get my hands on as a teenager and have been revisiting them throughout the years. I don't think I've ever disliked one. I actually had the wrong murderer picked out although it was pretty obvious when they revealed who it was. I think these being put in a series order is a modern thing. Her books usually are just connected by a common detective who, like in this one, isn't even the main character and prominent in the book until towards the end. In this one, Battle isn't even the one who really solves the case, it's done mostly by someone else.

Week1
Task: 5th in Series
Book: Aidan by Sydney Landon
# of pgs: 196
Finished: 06/05/17
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
I loved Aidan and Cassie. They were sexy and fun when they were together. I was either fanning myself because they were so hot or laughing out loud due to their banter.

This love story is also full of serious subject matter, dealing with cancer, guilt, and grief, which was beautifully done and very realistic.

I wish the epilogue would have been longer to give us a glimpse into the characters' futures since this seems to be the last book in this series.

Week: 1
Roll: 5
5th book in series

Book: Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead
Succubus Shadows (Georgina Kincaid, #5) by Richelle Mead
Pages: 281

Read: 06.04.17
Rating: 4 stars
Review:

I was drunk.

Georgina has moved to her condo on the shore. She starts to have strange sleepwalking episodes that begin after a particularly rowdy party. Roman is her roommate and appointed keeper. Even he is not able to stop her from the siren-like pull.

Georgina is helping Maddie with her wedding arrangements to Seth. This has to be one of the most painful things to read. The entire book is dark and depressing, but you keep hoping for a glimmer of light.

Add to the mix, a succubus that is "vacationing" in the area that is trying her wiles on Seth.

The last couple of books in this series have made me cry. I felt so drained when it was over. The dream sequences of Georgina's youth are heart wrenching. Everything is just one big mess. I hate that Maddie has come between Seth and Georgina. There could not be anything worse than to have your friend end up with your one true love.

The side story of Cody trying to impress a Goth girl who is into vampires is comic relief. It amuses me that he is not "vampiric" enough for her.

There was so much stuff going on with this installment that I read it straight through. I know the next book completes the series and I truly hope that it ends the way I want. Although you never know. I may just have my heart ripped out.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 948 comments I think it's safe to assume that she either has forgotten about this or has life issues preventing her from playing at the moment and it's ok to ask for a replacement player. Especially since we can't make another move without having all accounted for each week.

Carolin | 5 comments Hey girls, I am soo sorry I wasn't around last week and didn't say something, we went on a quite spontaneous trip over our whitsun holidays and I was pretty sure we are having Internet here (my cellphone provider has a different opinion on borders than the rest of us). I actually chose and read a book for this round, but since we will be staying for the whole next week and won't be having any more internet (we are on a daytrip today where there is at least a little net) I don't think there is much sense in keeping on playing :(
Again I am really really sorry and I am very sad to leave since I was really looking forward to this...at least it happened in the first round and you won't be losing anything because of me. I hope you girls still have a lot of fun :)

Task ~ 5th in series (or alt 5. Book to Movie)
Book ~ The Blue Corn Murders A Eugenia Potter Mystery by Nancy Pickard The Blue Corn Murders: A Eugenia Potter Mystery (#5) by Nancy Pickard
Completed ~ 6-8-17
Fits ~ Eugenia Potter #5
Rating ~ ✯✯✯✯
Review ~ It was different than so many other mysteries where the "crime/body" is found early on. In this book, the "crime" is not introduced until about halfway through the book. The main character Eugenia "Genia" Potter doesn't do too much snooping around, but that doesn't mean she doesn't do a bit. Sh is just involved in finding the body and possibly witnessing part of the crime. In this book, there is more than one major crime all happening simultaneously, as well as secondary incidents, and it makes you wonder it=f they are all connected or separate. Along with some of the secondary characters, she is strong-armed into trying to figure out what has happened. But then she and a few others make the choice to come together to try and figure it all out and is so often the case sort of stumble upon the thing that blows the whole case open.
Overall I was impressed at the many levels of this book while it was still an easy read as a cozy mystery should be.

This is Comfort reading for me because you know what your getting you have maya the curvy girl who wants to be loved for who she is and then you have panther alpha noah who takes one look at maya and decides she is mine

So if you love steamy alpha romance i can warmly recommend this series.

All in all a good Comfort book

Maybe, but I have read a few books where the MC is just too much, and I just want to smack, more often than not, her, up the side of the head. If you feel that way while reading each individual book then it is the MC not the series as a whole I suspect.

Review:

The Hotel Saint James was positively opulent.

Heather and Ryan are in Paris for their wedding. Friends, Amy and her boyfriend, Kent are there as well. And of course, Heather's dog, Dave is along for the festivities. Jane is a journalist covering the wedding. She dies after eating one of Heather's Lemon Chiffon Donuts during the engagement party. Heather's friend Angelica is the prime suspect as she was in the kitchen at the time.

I'm not sure why I continue to read this series. This book worked for a couple of challenges so I trudged through it. I don't particularly like the characters. The situations all seem very two dimensional and staged. I was surprised at Ryan for encouraging Heather to investigate when back home he does everything in his power to get her to stop.

There were of course secrets, betrayal and bad feelings all around. I hated that this was set in such a glorious city and the author pretty much downplayed everything about it.

The French characters were very stereotypical which annoyed me. I'm simply at a loss to say something good.

The donuts sounded yummy but once again there are no recipes.

A very quick simple read that could have used some editing
