SOLVED. Middle School book about time travel to WWII. [s]

This book is a middle school level book in which a boy is in trouble at school but when a relative passes away, he inherits an old fashioned radio. He somehow manages to set the radio to a frequency that enables him to travel back in time to WWII London. By doing so, he solves some kind of problem for his family which I believe fixes some problems for him in the present (but I'm not 100% sure about this). This book was most likely published in the late 1990's or early 2000's. Thanks for your help!
