The challenge is a week long - it begins tomorrow (Sunday, June 22) and ends on Saturday, June 28.
Round one officially starts today! You can either track your books here as you go, or you can compile a list here at the end of the week. Remember to submit your final list of books, or your score will be counted as a zero.

Because It Is My Blood (Sequel to All These Things I've Done by Gabrielle Zevin)
Savage Drift (Sequel to Sky on Fire [Monument 14 trilogy] by Emmy Laybourne)
Once We Were (Sequel to What's Left of Me by Kat Zhang)
Rebel (Sequel to Reboot by Amy Tintera)
Code (Sequel to Seizure [Virals series] by Kathy Reichs)
Please remember to post your books tonight - the scores will be tallied and the winner will be announced tomorrow. Any member that does not post will contribute a 0 to his/her team's average score (so I would recommend posting!). Good luck!

The goal of this challenge is to read as many sequels as you can during a period of one week. If you are interested in participating in the challenge, please post a comment below before Sunday. Then, either during the course of the week or at the very end of the week, edit your initial post to include the titles of all of the applicable books that you have read for the challenge. Please, please, please edit your post, instead of creating a new one. This tends to throw off our numbers and makes scoring a bit difficult. Additionally, remember to edit your post before Sunday, June 28th to give the mods enough time to calculate the scores and announce the winner. If you do not enter the titles, your score will be counted as a 0 and will negatively impact the average number of books read by members.
The moderators will be confirming that all books mentioned fit the requirements of the challenge, so don't try to tell us that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a valid choice.
We realize that this is a fairly new concept to many of our members, so we encourage you to ask as many questions as possible, before, during, and after the challenge so we can work out any kinks that may exist and clarify any uncertainties.
So, without further ado, let the sign-ups begin!
