Myndi | 40 comments An author that I Street Team for has asked me for help with her series on her profile. Two of the series were not showing one of the books and I fixed that, but now one of the series is not even showing up on her profile. Is there a way to fix this?
This is the author profile and the True Calling series is the one that's not showing up under "Series" when you scroll down on her page.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

(removed the #2.5 as primary works in 2 series - because they aren't primary (they are a .5))

Myndi | 40 comments The author wanted a .5 as a primary work in her True Calling series, is that not possible?

Myndi | 40 comments What kind of caching issue? The series is not showing up when I look at her page or when she looks at her page. It shows in the book list, but not in the Series list.

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 6171 comments no, it isn't a primary work - it's a novella (just 100 pages) that's why it is a .5 book according to GR rules - novellas are not considered as full (primary) works in a series (except the whole series have only novellas).
The series edit page says that clearly "*Primary works for a series should not include boxsets, novellas, anthologies, or other extras in the series. "

and that's what the librarian manual states
Novellas and short stories should be listed using decimals. For instance, if a series contains five primary books (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5) and a novella was published in between Book 1 and Book 2, it should be listed as 1.5. If there are multiple novellas or short stories between Book 1 and Book 2, they can be numbered as 1.4 and 1.5; or 1.3, 1.5, and 1.7; and so on.

Note: These novellas should not be listed as primary, regardless of numbering used on other sites.

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 6171 comments that's not a primary work either (47 pages is not even novellalength)
some of the others are wrongnumbered too I'd say.

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 6171 comments And I think there is only a number of series shown on the authors page directly (don't know how many and how system decides which appears there) - It is listed correctly on her general series page

and caching issue could be the case if the series had been created a few days ago - main author pages are really heavily cached and it often takes up to a few days until the show everything correctly.
But that's not the case here, she just has too many series for showing them all on the main page.

Paula (paulaan) | 7027 comments Series numbering fixed.

There is a 24/48 hr delay on updates to the author pages.

In addition, books that can only be obtained by joining an authors mailing list, are not considered published by GR standards and should not be on GR

That would apply to this one too I assume
