Ed Lehman | 2651 comments I recently posted Agatha Raisin and the Terrible Tourist M.C. Beaton for the Winter season. I neglected to note that the location is Northern Cyprus....a country not recognized universally or by our list.....so, I guess that is another notch for Cyprus proper.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments Thanks, Ed. I'll add it.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments Randomly reading threads in the librarian group, I saw a book mentioned for Anguilla: Blue Beans. I'm not recommending it one way or the other mind you, just identifying it. Just in case someone is interested.

Thanks! I've reverted the 3rd entry and re-added it to the countries still to go list. We have had tasks for the project in the past and sometimes it's hard keeping up with it!

Yay! Thank you, Ed. These 2 books turn Cote d'Ivoire green!

Wonderful! Another country turns green! I admit I never even considered how Riding the Metro would affect our Group Project.

That all of you are looking out for it is just excellent all around!

Bea If we read a book that is needed for Countries but does not fit the current RwS challenges, does it still count?

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments Bea wrote: "If we read a book that is needed for Countries but does not fit the current RwS challenges, does it still count?"

We need it posted in the Completed Tasks thread. There might be more opportunities upcoming!

message 239: by Bea (new)

Bea Elizabeth (Alaska) wrote: "We need it posted in the Completed Tasks thread. There might be more opportunities upcoming! "

OK. I might have to pass then. It is a book that I got from the library just for that Countries challenge. I wanted to participate in it and seldom can find books to fit that someone else hasn't beaten me to.

It's too bad that I did not check to see if it would work for the current RwS challenges before taking it out. It is due back 1/28, although I can renew it once for a 3 week span. Just doesn't feel like it will be enough time to make it to March.
