The two I always mention are J.R. Ward and Kresley Cole. I take dialogue so seriously because it can shift your scene. And these two are masters at dialogue, in my opinion. Kresley Cole can have her characters taking a stroll through the woods, no action, just dialogue yet I'm entranced with the emotional roller coaster!
My writing can be intense so I have to give the readers breaks, offer a moment of laughter. I hear from my editors and beta readers, "Oh, thank you for that laugh. Much needed." Also, in truth, that's me. I'm the girl who has to find a way to laugh at a funeral. That's why I love that song—oh, the title escapes me at the moment. But yeah, I have to have a couple seconds of laughter. Buried too many loved ones not to. I need that release to carry on.

Ohhhhh yes. Music is a passion of mine. I write to it almost always. Besides being a professional dancer, I was a choreographer. Writing to music is similar, if you ask me. I'm creating emotions through either words or movement. That is why I consider writing to be an art form. Why does someone buy a painting? It evoked something inside. Same with books. Laughter? Tears? Or simply thought provoking? Books can be magical that way.
The only time I do not listen to music is during any editing. Now I read the chapter to see if the emotions can be evoked in myself. If my eyes well, I nod to myself, "I think I have this scene." If my eyes stay dry, I go back in, rework it to make sure my meaning of what my characters are going through, is clear.
Yes, at the end of every book of mine, I mention songs that inspired me. I speak of them in more details here on Goodreads, in a group of mine, and other social media sites of mine.
My character Destiny says music can make you want to sing, dance, cry, lift you up or bring you down, or make you want to—I won't say, she's too funny.

Lets see, for your first question, its a goody! Haven't really put much thought into it because I write from the heart and the story goes where it chooses—where it directs me—but I can tell you that I will, in a couple of years, finish an epic fantasy novel that has been brewing in my heart. So far, the title is ALCAR, The Army of Children. It may not sound like it but it is a love story, in a direction I don't think anyone will see coming. I was just thinking about ALCAR again this morning, thanking my imagination for giving me time on this one because it will take immense concentration and time I can not offer yet. I have never written outside of some sort of realistic setting, even in Rain and My Wolf and Me, these characters still live in this world. So, I don't think I can be in two or three books at one time with ALCAR as I am now with so many series rolling at once.

Second question? Movie or TV series? The Forever series is being looked at right now, and I think it is a great choice because of the message this series offers and because of all the original music that is part of it. Otherwise, my second choice would be Rain, A Stranger in the Woods series. I want to see Ryder's eyes, in real life, SO BAD! And this series, which was supposed to be a stand alone till my beta readers went all mental on me with that notion, lol, has grown in epic proportions. I'm about to hand over the sequel, River, to my betas and I think they are going to be so glad they fought for more, changing my mind and encouraging me to allow this story to go deeper. Now, the original ending of Rain isn't seen till the third novel! Nuts! But sooooooo much fun!

Not sure I have one answer there... It all started as I was reading self help books, trying to heal from some childhood trauma. When a concept was brought to my attention, to receive a past event and give it a different outcome, Serenity was born. From there? My imagination took over and now a piece of me and my past is in every book I write. Either in the form of actually situations I've experienced or emotions and lessons that have taught me much.
So, maybe the answer is, I was inspired to write by the hope of healing. Now that I have some peace in my life, I want all to have it! #CreateLight and there will be no darkness...

One? Are you asking me to pick one? Hahaha...
Favorite animal: Well, I can tell you it is not my dog who is presently napping and farting, stinking up my office. *Gag*
Out of my favorites, I will choose the elephant. Since I was a child, their intelligence has bewildered me. Their ability to recognize passed friend or loved ones by their bones, amazing. Their loyalty? Incredible. Their determination to travel and travel? Inspiring. Their fierce protective ways? Honorable beyond measures.

Favorite paranormal animal? This is tricky because it is one of my characters, Ryder, from my novel Rain but I can't tell you what he is exactly (that would classified as a spoiler) but I can tell you he reminds me of the elephant with his same qualities. He is loyal. He is fierce. He is determined yet passionate. A fantastic balance in such a warrior as himself. And as he grows... I fall in love with him even more.

My very next release is Destiny, the second novel from the Forever series. I think a sneak preview would be a GREAT IDEA!

This blurb is in the POV of the female character, Serenity. She is speaking of a vision she is experiencing, one from a past life... Hope you enjoy!

******************

The fire in our hut glows just enough for me to see his naked body hovering over mine. The animal skin that our home is made of, the fur underneath my naked back, and the barbaric belongings tell me this lifetime was long before many others in my visions of the past, but the sense of brilliance and understanding that I have yet to experience tells me that the people back then were magnificently aware.
As in my current lifetime, and possibly all my past ones, there has to be balance. I somehow understand this as I lie knowing I am making my last physical union with the man sinking between my thighs. Sad green eyes adore me as his body joins mine, sensing the doom approaching our tent. Tears fall from him and land on my skin. I feel every trickle because I am so completely present. Even with my life’s end coming, I appreciate these last moments with the one I cherish so dearly.
Through our home’s walls, I can see more burning flames moving closer.
His lips move and form words that are not of the English language, but I understand them completely. Dereck tells me he will see me in the future, in the present, and in the past because all is one.

Never been asked this before. Hmmm... I would have to say I would like to read more about places like Scotland and Ireland, Spain, even England. I love to learn about kings and queens history, especially through a love story. Castle life peaks my interest, big time. Seems as though they were such complicated and unfair times. And times of heroes fighting for rights such as owning your own land, without strings attached. Yet, I feel for the rulers who were so trapped into the life they were forced into by blood. Can you imagine both sides? My imagination goes wild...
