I am around, just not been reading much as I have had a bad case of thinking I liked a book and it turned out I didn't. Then there is my eldest son who wanted to move to Scotland and now isn't and my fridge/freezer blowing up and having to fork out £100 (GBP) for a new fridge lol.

On a good note, I am reading Exquisite Betrayal - A.M. Hargrove which I am enjoying.

Babs | 258 comments It's it amazing how things always happen in three's! Sounds as though you've had your hands full. It's horrible when life interferes with reading :-)

Since I last posted on here I have read Daughter by Jane Shemilt (got 25% into it and gave up as it was getting so many twists and turns).

Then read Exquisite Betrayal by A.M. Hargrove (which I absolutely loved)

Then I've been reading Dirty Nights, Part One by Emerson St.Clair & Dirty Nights Part Two by Emerson St. Clair (which I am finding rather intriguing with the way the characters are a mess in their heads and stuff), I'm reading Dirty Nights Part Three by Emerson St. Clair at the moment.

I need to be a teacher!! I would have more summer time to read!

message 1979: by Babs (new)

Babs | 258 comments OOps! I was a teacher and unfortunately summer didn't always provide as much reading time as one might think. What a serious reader needs is a round library...and doors that lock others out...as long as people interfere with ones time...it's never possible to find enough time to read.

Mary wrote: "Yes, Babs! You are correct, unfortunately. Donna, I bet your job is quite interesting. When I read The Last Letter from Your Lover there was a great deal of talk about archivists."

It is more records than archives but I am hoping to change that!

Gave up on Bloodstone - Barbra Annino as I couldn't get into the characters lol. So I am now reading Together Forever - Vicki Green which I've read books 1 and 3 before. Looks like another 1.30am staying up due to the nature of this author's book that keeps me gripped lol.
