LOL! Our oldest son prefers video games and won't read unless we threaten him with loss of something or he feels the pressure from school. But the girls love to read, especially the younger one who will be 7 next month, which makes me really proud. My wife loves reading but it consumes her so that she always feels she needs to be doing other things and usually will wait a month or so to read the next one. I wish I could change her opinion on that - I don't mind if she reads!

That's good. My husband doesn't read but he loves when I do. I always gives me time and space to read. My kids are way to young. My oldest is only 21 months but she loves her books. She take very good care of them and has plenty. She does get very excited when she sees books.

I've heard many many good things about Dumas and I love classics to begin with. I'm definitely going to get to those in time.

I finished up Blindness over the weekend and started Everything is Illuminated. Liking it!

I can't remember if I've already posted, but I've been trying to read Love in the Time of Cholera. I can't get into it. School's started back up again and my class load is ridiculous, so I think that's part of it, but still. Anyone read it?

Hmmm...I've heard it was good but I have yet to go there. I've heard his writing is a bit confusing. I know when I am really busy I have trouble getting into certain types of books.

It's on my TBR as well. I just recently brought it so I will takel it some time soon. School started up for me as well and between family work and school I have a huge workload but luckily I have a long commute.

How about you? When do you get time to read?

OK so I started The Elegance of the Hedgehog this morning and I don't hate it. I am liking it thus far (not loving, liking). I have about 30 pages left on The Angel's Game but I didn't wanna carry too many books with me to work today so I will finish it out when I get home and the kiddies are alseep. I loved it thus far. Let's hope the ending doesn't ruin it forme. But so far a 5 starer!

I finished The Woman in White yesterday, and started and finished Chinese Cinderella: The True Story of an Unwanted Daughter. I'm now working on A Dance to the Music of Time: First Movement... but since it's a real book, I think I'll also be plugging away at The Other Boleyn Girl on my eReader a bit... though not much until ADTTMOT is done. I'm also still listening to The Last Olympian, and am reading The Three Musketeers via dailylit.com. :)

So far this semester, I've only had a few breaks between classes & work to read. I don't think this book was meant to be read that way lol, BUT, I'm going to be staying at a cabin at a ski resort this weekend, so hopefully I'll be doing nothing but snowboarding & reading!!! Homework can wait till Monday :P

I really wish I could do that. I sometimes, but very rarely, read 2 books at one time. But that's even too much for me LOL unless you want to include pleaseure reading with text books then I can def do more than one!

I try not to read 2+ books at once, but sometimes the book is big and dookie and I dont want to bring on the bus so I will have multiples going on. Right now I am reading 2. One of them I have been reading online for over a month ... at work .... in my spare time. it is easy to just click over and read a lil and then click back onto work when people come in my office.

I'm reading Catcher in the Rye. Maybe because I know it is one of the most read books in the 20th century I had it in my brain that I read it back in grade school. But since I don't remember a damn thing about it that can't be true. So far it is living up to the hoopla but not even close to what I was expecting!
