Please let me know if you can access the spreadsheet and edit it. I believe that no sign in is required.

@TJ, are we going to just choose anything from the spreadsheet?
And by the way, I can access and edit it. I'm always using a computer. :D

Welcome Bianca!
Since we are a fun group, I think we should just pick out what we want to read and where it might fit. (Sometimes a book fits in several categories and I like to keep track in case we need to move it). We get 10 points for closing out a category, but we can always move things around later.
I also made a column for alternates if your book only fits in a category that has already been claimed by four team members. But since at the moment our group is so small (only 6 members) -- that will probably not be a problem... ;)

Hi Ananya!
You can reread a book if you read it over a year ago, but you have to write a new review. You can edit the date you read the book the first time by going to the review and clicking "edit." Then you can change the year you read the book. Goodreads has been recently updated so you can add dates of books you reread and you can note how many times you've read a book and when.

So don't hesitate to put your book in, even if the category is taken, or even if you are not sure you will read it, because there is so much room to maneuver in this game. You are not committing to a book by putting it in there, you're just planning and goal setting. You can change at any time. We are a fun group after all. :). I think I'll add a color code for "might read".
I'm hoping we'll get more team members, otherwise this spreadsheet could be totally unnecessary... :).

OHHH thank you!! I just spent the past 20 minutes adding the read dates to many of my books haha :)

I picked Rose's name for the pick the letter of a teammates name and I put down Red Queen.
Red Queen, A List of Cages, Hunted and Geekerella are books I am buddy reading if you need space anywhere else let me know and I can bump my name.
Let me know if my updates are ok. I think they are double checked them

I LOVE the spreadsheet!!!! Genius idea

IF anyone wants to do a buddy read on any of the books I put on there please let me know I would love to buddy read them with any of you. That way we get more points too

Also, Jordan, can I buddy read 13 Reasons Why with you? :))
I also want to read the Raven Boys but my mid-year finals only end on 8th May :( so if I read it I can't be part of the buddy read. Is that fine?

I can't on 4th or 5th because of my exams :( Greekerella should be fine though! :)

Yes! that would be prefect :)

Im good with any date after 8th! :))

My pleasure!

I think so too, but it wasn't mine... ;).
I used a spreadsheet in a previous challenge -- but the challenge required more organization because you had to close out one category, before going to the next. This challenge is easier to maneuver. (In this case, I copy/pasted the spreadsheet from a serious team -- Thanks, Sharon from Team Cougar!)

If I can swing it, I'd like to read A List of Cages with you, Susan -- I was supposed to buddy read it this month, but we haven't gotten to it...

Yay! I loved that book!
You could put it under:
42. Book that begins with the letter I
or with 624 pages, you could add a short book and do:
20. Roll a five or an eight – read 800 pages of your choice (can be made up from more than 1 book.)
...Help us Obianca Kenobi, you're our only hope!

Susan, why don't you go ahead and set up a buddy read with the other reader and I'll join in if I can? I'm still not sure about my time this month and I overcommitted to buddy reads last month. But I'll do my best to chime in with my two cents worth... ;)
I was wondering why you put A List of Cages under "Winged things… read a book with the letters ‘B’, ‘A’, and ‘T’ in the title"...
"Una gabbia di stelle" -- Ha! brilliant!

* 10 Bonus points will be given each time one of the four parts of the challenge is completed. (Bonus points for completion of parts will be awarded to teams only, not individual players)
The color code is for strategic purposes. We can see which books are finished and which are being currently read. Ideally we'll finish out as many parts as we can as many times as we can. This color coding will be more interesting at the end of the month as we move books around to finish parts and get as many extra points as we can. It will also help when planning what to read next (and in which category to post your finished reviews). If someone is already reading a book in that category, or has finished, you can place your book in a different category, if it fits.
I also added a color for "might read" so that you all know that the category might be open. If you finish a book that needs to go in a category that someone marked as "might read," you get priority and can take that spot. I might choose the books I read during the month depending on what spots still need to be filled.

Yes, but it can be the title in any language.
