I've only just begun reading A Little Life and have been warned by the reviews that all is not cheery. But it's won so many and such varied awards, I decided I'd start it and see what all the fuss is about. :)

It is a good read - the words really do flow - but the story does have some confronting story lines, but overall I found it worthwhile
