Sounds fun!What are you Currently reading? Do you love it, hate it, or feel bluh about it so far? Just finished Darkness Haunts and really liked it - lots of possibilities to grow the series. About halfway through Witches for Hire - I'm swinging back and forth on it - love the characters but the story is swinging back and forth without stopping anywhere and i'm getting whiplash trying to figure out what's happening.
What is your Favourite Colour? green
What are your favourite TV shows? I don't have time to watch a lot of TV. I really liked Killjoy and Dark Matter and hope to be able to watch season 2 before season 3 starts.
What is your favourite movie/s? I don't really have favorites - Recently I saw Hidden Figures and the new Beauty and the Beast and thought they were both great.
Do you have any pets? What are they? not tight now
What's your preference: ebook or hardback/paperback? Definitely ebook.
Who is your all time favourite Author? EEEEK! Haven't a clue. too many wonderful writers to choose. I love Ilona Andrews. I recently was introduced to a few of Toni Anderson's books and loved them too. Patricia Briggs is a big favorite. KC Charles is an auto buy and i can think of way too many others at the top of my head.
If you where stuck on a deserted island, what 3 books would you have with you? American Gods, The StandThe Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers - they're all long enough to hopefully keep me busy

What are your favourite TV shows? I'm not much of a TV person, so I usually just watch the news. But I'm highly anticipating the next season of The Game of Thrones. I'm also waiting for the next book to come out, but so far George R.R. Martin seems to be busy with the show instead of the book.
What is your favourite movie/s? The Swawshank Redemption, LOTR series, The Hunger Games series, etc.
Do you have any pets? What are they? No. I used to have a cat long time ago.
What's your preference: ebook or hardback/paperback? ebook. Can't live without my kindle.
Who is your all time favourite Author? There are too many but some of them are Melina Marchetta, Marie Lu, Tamora Pierce, Jennifer Estep, etc.

I loved the Beauty and the Beast movie, I watched in twice.
I love Alan Rickman, he was an amazing actor and I was devastated when I found out he passed away.

I used to watch Game of Thrones and I loved it, I stopped after a while and I don't know why I did, now just the amount of episodes it has and knowing I would have to start at the beginning again to remember everything stops me from watching it again. Maybe one day.

I never can decide one, all are so good. But Natasha (I love Scarlett Johansson as actor too) and Captain America and Iron Man are best.
I am going to watch Captain America: Civil War, 14th may on star movies. I missed it when it was released.

I used to watch NCIS and Supernatural too but as I said, I don't watch TV much, which I guess I lot of us here have in common.
@BarbaraAnn I'll be starting Ilona Andrew's Magic Bites soon. Hope it's as good as a lot of people say they are.
@Gillian I used to watch Charmed too! In fact, I have dvds of the entire series. My kids liked it also. And I like Ready Player One too.
@Yesha I usually watch marvel movies also and yes, Lunar Chronicles is also one of my favorites.
I don't like too much serious and slow books. Anything with witty, adventurous, and strong character, I love it.

I have read the first 2 books only as I was disappointed in the 2nd book but I have most of them just waiting for me to read them.
You should continue, Sabastian's (Book 3) and Bowens's (Book 4) are really really good and the series only gets better and better.

About the page count, I found this on the Q&A:

A: Edition you've read. Default edition will be used for audiobooks and large print editions

I'm guessing because you love Doctor who and David Tennant that the 10th doctor is your favourite doctor?
Buffon is mixed breed haha, he was found near my university back in 2014, we think one of it parents was something like a great dane, due to it's size, what we know almost for sure is that the other parent was a shar pei, every vet agree on that.And yes! My favorite doctor is the 10th, But I love 11th as well =P

Emily, I had major issues with the first book especially the romance in it... I almost picked A Court of Mist and Fury, but then I would be on an island pissed not knowing what happens next after that ending hahaha

The 11th doctor is my favourite, he was the first doctor I watched, I totally watched it out of order.

I enjoyed them up until about book 5 or 6 I think it was and that's when it started to go downhill. Now I'm on 10 and the plot has changed so much and there's been zero development in their relationship in the sense of actually communicating and acting like adults. It's... frustrating.
And you know, I never thought about that! I love the book so much I didn't give a second thought to the cliffhanger! lol. I'd drive myself crazy on the island with that choice!
Emily, I just couldn't get over the whole getting over the "rape" issue in the beginning, and a lot of the weirdness surrounding the whole thing. Just didn't feel believable at all to me

Ok for clarification, what are our tasks for the beginning round? Outside of the BOTM stuff, I guess I'm a little confused on how we pick our books.
I thought we were supposed to read anything we want, with points being counted for length. For reading books
Books between 100 and 160 pages (100 pages or 25,000 words is the minimum) = 5 points
Books between 161 pages and 350 pages = 20 points
Books between 351 and 500 pages = 40 points
Books between 501 and 650 pages = 60 points
Books between 651 and 800 pages = 80 points
Books between 801 and 900 pages = 100 points
Books over 901 pages = 130 points
I think I saw in the chat discussion that the mods might set up specific mini-challenges later?
I know that when we finish a book, we save the book to our Tower shelf - do we post the book here as well?

So far the book is pretty good. It took me 3-4 tries before i finally managed to get through the original PnP but since then its turned into 1 of my favs. And i enjoy all of its variations.
