Week 1
Monday 4/17-17
Didn't expect to read at all today as I was going to a family Easter get together but managed to read a short 150 page book when I got home.
In Time for Christmas by Heather Blanton was fine and though it was quite Christian it wasn't preachy which was good.
Tuesday 4/18-17
I never got around to reading any books today, I read a lot of rubbish on Facebook.
I also had to go to the library and as my husband had the car to work from 8 am to 11 pm that meant I had to go on my bicycle. There is 10-11 km each way to the library and in February that would not have been a problem as I cycled that 3 times every week. But I have been in moving mode ever since mid February and this is the first time since then I have been on my bike. My bum is sore!
Wednesday 4/19-17
Today I'm stuck at home and not just that. Right now I'm actually stuck in my kitchen as we have somebody in sanding our floors. Last week they did upstairs but today they are doing the stairs, livingroom and entrance.
So all I can do is sit in my kitchen and read. What a shame LOL
I have finished my first book and before I can move about in my home, I will most likely have finished another.
Vikings in Dublin by Leila McGrath This was better than expected and an interesting history lesson. Though being Danish, I of course knew about the barbaric Vikings.

Wrap up post.I have been very lazy with my daily updates and logging of my reading but I will get that done.
But I have been reading a lot. I managed to read 4 books for Dewey's Rat but I read both a book before it started and another after it finished so the last weekend of this Spring into Horror RaT I read a total of 6 books.
All in all I read 15 books over the 2 weeks of the Rat which was the upper goal for me.
My horror book of the week was
Quite Contrary by Richard Roberts which was a scary fairytale retelling. What I liked most about it was the ending that was nothing as I had expected.Thanks for hosting Michelle and I am looking forward to the Sci-Fi Summer Readathon in June.

Spring Into Horror Read-a-Thon 2017
I try to take part in as many RaTs of Michelle's as possible. And even though I am later than usual in signing up - only 2 days before - I will definitely take part.
This time it is a two week RaT and it also coincides with Dewey's RaT.
I'll set a goal of 10 books which I should reach no problem, If all goes well I might even reach 15 books. This includes books from around 150 pages to over 400.
