Thank you, Shrikanth. Good choices.
I had a good mind to read Karamazov in may. I am reading Career of Evil too as I really liked first 2 books of Cormoran Strike.

Hello Shobhit, I sent you an email some time ago, but I am not sure you saw it.

Since you have a blog dedicated to poetry, i thought of two of the books on your shelf.

One is very long: it's the Collected Poems by Langston Hughes. One is not so long: it's the Birthday Letters, by Ted Hughes.

Please choose whichever one of these suits you best.

I look forward to seeing your choice for me.

Hi Mahima,
Since you seem to be a big fan of Emma Watson, I thought I would pick a couple of books from that shelf for your May read. Choose any of the following.
The Remains of the Day
Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail

Hope you like them. Happy reading!

Mahima Pradhan Hi Selva!

Thank you so much for choosing the books. Had them on my to-read list for a long time, finally got the motivation to read them. :D

I went through your to-read shelf and found two of my personal favourites for you to read.

The Complete Persepolis
A Thousand Splendid Suns

Hope you find them interesting! :)

Thank you for responding, Pallavi. The suggestions are great. I have been meaning to read both books for a while now. My recommendations would be Wonder and House of Leaves, in that order. :-)
I hope you'd like reading them.

Hello Manju,
I have a similar problem. I've been paired with Shobhit for the May challenge, and I sent him an email suggesting some books for him to read, but he has not contacted me or commented in this thread. Not sure if there's anything to be done at this point.

Thank you for stepping in here, Manju. I really appreciate that. Till We Have Faces is considered one of C.S. Lewis' best books and different from many others by him. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

The links to two of my shelves are in message 22 of this thread. You will have lots of books to choose from.

I have read his novel Siddhartha, so it will be interesting to see how this compares to it.

Shrikanth Venne | 4974 comments @Shalini done with Asoka...
my review:
This book is not about asoka the emperor but history of mauryan Empire. It was like reading a history book. Author has repeated many things again and again, for example Ashoka followed Buddhism and sent scribes across the world this was mentioned more than 2 times. This book is informative about the mauryan Empire. what was available, what people use to wear, what people do everything about the mauryan Empire. In short don't take this book as a novel but a informative book about mauryan empire which included bits and part of Asoka. The books name is misleading it should have some other title. On the basis of my expectation seeing the title of the book it's misleading but it's very much informative.

Will start reading Sita's sister. May be would not able to complete this month
