Up to now, with only the pages written in the posts, we have reached the total amount of 9300 pages plus 3795, not definitive: some people have written down only saturday or friday, and Sunday is still missing ...
Check your entry to see if I got the numberrs wrong!

I agree! I look forward to this every month--despite my rather pitiful showing! It's always next month when I'm going to knock it out of the park. ;)

message 75: by Chinook (new)

Chinook | 543 comments I broke 1000 as well and I credit it to this readathon. It focused me on reading over random fbing or podcasts.

Update the list post, and now the total is 17,256 plus the still not completed pages of someone, 17,914.
But someone has not yet added the pages, so still numbers to go!

Great idea! I think I'll try that next time to get my measly page count up.

message 82: by Karin (new)

Karin Perhaps I'll get a lot of reading time the next read-a-thon--it really depends on what is going on at that time, and so far doesn't look as promising as I'd like (my weekends are usually planned far in advance).

For me it was the real first week end of good weather; plus there was also the "spring sunday of FAI" (FAI is something like National Trust in England). In these sundays the FAI opens cultural places usually closed to the public. My daughter, with her school, was giving guided tour in a Villa not far from where we live, all fescoe by one of the late owners, a minor local painter of the XIX Century. It has also a really nice park surrounding it. After that Isabelle Huppert came to Perugia and had an interview in a cinema we often go, and then the film with which she won the Golden Globe, Elle.
So not much time to read! Who knows what netx week end will bring!!!
