to be honest I'm glad Sarai is the one dead, it broke my heart but it would break more if it was Sparrow or Ruby dead's, it didn't surprise me that Minya hold captive Sarai, even tho at first she was going to save her now that Lazlo is on the picture she will keep Sarai hostage to make Lazlo cooperate with everything.

so many things happens in so little time, I took my time reading this book -like any Laini's book- but damn, I love this one more than Daughter of Smoke & Bones.

please Laini make this a happy ending <3. I seriously don't know what the fuck will happen in the second book. Also I'm always shocked how unique Laini do all the kiss scenes, they are so perfect. (hide spoiler)]

Lazlo seems to be one of the main characters and one of his nicknames is Strange the Dreamer. Sarai's nickname is Muse of Nightmares which happens to be the name of the second book. Honestly, Taylor could write a scene of him sitting and staring into space and I would find it the most adorable thing I have ever witnessed! There is something about his soft boy, dreamy self that enchants me so much.

I loved seeing him come into his own and bond with the other travellers. I'm also glad to see Thyon experience not being the centre of everyone's attention the closer they get to Weep. (hide spoiler)]

Second quarter - (view spoiler)[These poor, blue children! I feel so sorry for them, even the spiky Minya. Being stuck in the clouds with only each other and a handful of ghosts for company throughout their entire childhood must have been no fun! One of the paragraphs which really highlighted this was when Sarai was recalling a past game they made for if their ability was to pull something out of their dreams, like another past godspawn. Each of their desires was so simple, such as seeds or a doll, and yet also showed so much about each of their personalities.

I didn't manage to finish the book this month but have loved being back in this world. (hide spoiler)]
