there is still this one https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... that has the cover for the ISBN-less edition but the description says alternate cover edition, which is incorrect, that cover (with no logo on the upper right) was not for that ISBN but was used only for this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... that already exists
edit: since (before the last edits) it had a truncated ISBN, I believe the user who added it meant to add the edition with ISBN, but used a wrong (but similar) cover. So you can either merge it with the ISBN-less edition (same cover) or with the ACE for that ISBN (this one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... )
Please merge https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... HC edition with an ASIN, connected to used HC on Amazon.
Please merge https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... and recombine. Duplicate HC edition left after I reverted many incorrect cover/format/ISBN changes.

#928 done#930 not deleted; placeholder editions for a series/omnibus edition that were not published in that way should be merged into the first book, so that would be these: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...
Since the cover is not on one of those editions, it would delete a unique cover.

That truncated isbn was later converted to an ACE note in the description and a librarian note.
This is not enough evidence to say that this edition never existed with this cover; at least not to merge that edition on GR.

I can see that I'm not being able to explain myself properly.
The user who first added the book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... made a series of mistakes, first the truncated ISBN (9788804507, correct 9788804507598), and then they chose a WRONG cover (for that particular ISBN they were trying to add the right cover is https://images.gr-assets.com/books/14... ), admittedly that was due to the fact that a VERY SIMILAR cover (this one: https://images.gr-assets.com/books/13... ) was used for another edition in 2011 (with no ISBN) that was ALREADY on GR (here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... ).
When I first requested the deletion (post 893) I only saw the truncated ISBN and I didn't notice that the cover was also wrong. Phil who took charge of the request saw 2 different covers, misunderstood (because I didn't tell him anything) and thought that https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... was an ACE of this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... , so he kept it and added the note. It is not so.
That cover (https://images.gr-assets.com/books/13... no logo on the upper right, no publisher name at the bottom) was NEVER used for that ISBN (the editions by that publisher that are sold in bookstores all have ISBN and the logo), instead it was used for an edition sold together with a newspaper issue with no ISBN (it may have an ISSN) (every week a different book by A. Christie was sold)
What I mean is, don't focus on the cover because it's wrong, on GR we already have
1. the ISBN-less edition with that cover: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
2. the ISBN edition (the one that was truncated, 9788804507598), with the different cover that is now an ACE: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
So this one https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is really a DUPLICATE of either 1 or 2, you can choose to merge it wherever you like, 1 or 2 (I would say that, since the user tried to add an ISBN, he really meant to add no. 2, so I'd merge into 2, but you could argue for both solutions), but it's not another, third edition.
