I am not a graphic novel/comic book reader myself - I'd rather read words. But I decided to read Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood and I thought it was really good.

Thanks Sandy, but my library doesn't have many options (and they are probably all marked Children) and I'm not spending money on a comic. :D

While it's fine to include more than one task in a post, you must list them in order, lowest to highest. See post 1 in this thread and the Posting Requirements

Me too. I tried to read my grown son's copy of Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel and couldn't get myself past the first few pages. I searched for an alternative and came across Persepolis:: The Story of a Childhood and was very moved by it.

For task 50.1, book 2, you state that the book is set in San Francisco. Although the metadata has no setting information, the reviews suggest that it's set in Hong Kong. However, it appears that the author was born in San Francisco, so the book will work using that basis.
No need to repost.

Task 5.2 requires that the book be set in specified locations. The USA locations listed are New York and California, and Lost Revolutions: The South in the 1950s does not appear to be set in either of these locations.
Task 20.5, option 2 - there is only 1 G in the target phrase, so Glenda Gilmore will not work for this task/option.
Task 30.5 requires that you "Explain the connection between the cover image and your reading spot."
