Lol. Thanks! :) I just finished the rough draft for another one. I am going to read it over a couple more times before I send it in though.

I'm a very, annoying pro active person. I've been hounding people for articles, like you've witnessed in this thread but also outside of this thread, sometimes I strike out (waves sadly at roughseeinthemed (who wrote me a lovely I'm-sorry-rejection letter) but most of the time I hit atleast a double. I love all three articles I've uploaded to the blog today.
TJ, Anna and Erica wrote wonderful, helpful articles.
If you have a bit of free time, make sure to read them!! And if you get inspired to write something, upload them or e-mail them to me.

I can't wait to contribute! I'll be digging through my files to find something to polish up and make all pretty, then try submitting it.
Loved them! Okay, I'm going to get to work:)I have a question about the event: When will it be too late to change the price on them? I need a set date before I can do that.

I think we will decide tomorrow when the event will be. We agreed on the last week of march and I think it's going to be Monday, Tues, Wednesday (27,28,29) since apparently less ppl are online during the weekend.
I'm not sure how long it takes for Amazon to change the prices but I will stop changing things the Thursday before. Thursday 23:59.

Someone just told me posting their article on the blog led to an increase in their sales. So, there you go. Write me a good article and you too can increase in ranks. :p
Have a question. It's probably stupid and has probably already been answered but when I posted my books in the other thread should I have mentioned that they are free with kindle unlimited? Should there be a section of books that are available on KU cuz some readers will only get books that are free on KU. Something to think about, I guess.
(Way too intimidated to write an article for the website and can't think of anything relevant anyway. It's not like I have any answers to anything.)

Good question. We are going to start a separate thread after we announce the dates where you can list the sales price of you book for the event or if it is available on KU.

I find some of the most beneficial articles to be about someone's personal experiences as an author or about things they have learned along the way.

Amy wrote: "(Way too intimidated to write an article for the website and can't think of anything relevant anyway. It's not like I have any answers to anything.)"Well then, write about how you feel like you don't have answers to anything. :p
Erica wrote: "I find some of the most beneficial articles to be about someone's personal experiences as an author or about things they have learned along the way. "
That's very kind. I'm not sure how beneficial it would be to anyone to read the thoughts of a person who has only sold a couple of dozen books, didn't hire an editor and made their own cover graphics. But if I come up with anything I think I can get away with I'll write it. I'm coming up blank at the moment. There are others way more qualified than me to take part.
So here I am, about to check the grammar of the article I've written for NI.com and this shows up on Grammarly.
It's like they know what kind of writer I am! Lol.

Well, then don't read mine... ;) I don't have very many sales and create my own art as well. But I figured I could write about what I have learned with some of my early struggles. I think it gives a slightly different view since I am not necessarily on the other side looking back. I am still in the beginning.

You have one of the funniest wits I have ever seen or well.. read. I would read a laundry list if you wrote it.

What's this?

You have pink hair.
You can do anything.
I WANT to post articles by writers who don't have editors, had to make their own covers etc. Next week, I'm publishing an article about one author that felt like a complete failure, and then the next about an author who's made it. I want to tell all stories. Mine will be about coming clean to my parents regarding my chosen genres, lol.
Just write me a little something. Come on. Just do it..
(This gif is just for Amy: https://m.popkey.co/ebca64/wGjRb_s-20... )
:p
Come on Amy...everybody is doing it! *wink* nothing like a little peer pressure lol. But seriously, I would like to read an article from you and I am sure there are many others out there that can relate.

Best shopping list I ever saw was discarded on the ground of the supermarket car park instead of toilet paper it said "arse wipe" Awesome! I didn't write it though. But it was funny.

I can actually perform that gif...years of yoga...
OK I have an idea for an article now. Thank you. (It's not got anything to do with that gif)

I was only shooting for 3 blog articles this week, but then Carole dropped a gem in my inbox and I couldn't resist. I hope you'll give it a read. www.navigatingindieworld.com

Oh no it's just me. Anyone else can write what they like no matter how they published anything. It's just in my head I shouldn't.
Need head transplant.
Oooh naming stuff...hang on.

Mods, can you check if everything's all right with Erica's blog post? I tried to leave a comment there, but the comment function doesn't work. Instead the "post a comment" button tries to open a file or something. Is anybody else able to post a comment there?
Anna wrote: "Mods, can you check if everything's all right with Erica's blog post? I tried to leave a comment there, but the comment function doesn't work. Instead the "post a comment" button tries to open a fi..."Mine worked. Can you try again and DM me a screenshot of what shows up?

@Alexis, I emailed you a screenshot. @Groovy, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has this problem. :) I tried your trick, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong...
