Would be nice if they had a shared universe though. There are so many characters that could be done and done well with the special effects they have on hand.about 6 months ago, the rumblings were on the table of a Metal Men movie and script being written.
The best way to introduce other characters into the universe and make them real is not necessarily by having them on the show, but by Barry reading the exploits of certain heroes in the paper. Thereby making it as real as possible without having to have a starring rile right away.
Would love to see Ray Palmer (The Atom), make a appearance as maybe one of Barry's collage profs. Or maybe a run in with the Challengers of the Unknown.

I missed that the first time to two that I watched the trailer... I missed have blinked.

The Atom on Flash would be cool. Also Aquaman.Basically, I'd love to see some version of the JLA through the TV shows.
Has Shado appeared on Arrow? That seems a no brainer.
has anyone actually seen the JLA pilot movie that was made for TV to usher in a an actual series? If you haven't seen it and want to see what it was like, follow this link;http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xsmn...
Its a terrible attempt at trying to push the JLA into a series.
For Gotham - I's like to see Leslie Thompkins make an appearance. They may just replace her role with Detective Gordon, and that make some sense - but they really don't need to replace her.
It would be cool to see Barbara as well - even if only a child... she might not be born when the show starts.

I think this show is going to be fairly ambitious and forward. They have plans to introduce as many Gotham elements as possible. The message boards all over the place are fairly [positive, though a lot are saying the time lines are different. Saying that most of the villains in the Batman universe were created after The Batman came into reality.
But that isn't exactly true, The characters themselves as beings had to be born and live and most probably were already operating as or had just started operating as crooks and bad guys.
I'm looking forward to it.
Although they haven't totally confirmed it yet, the Joker will more than likely appear somewhere later in the series.
I would hope they would have a young pre-Joker, would be fascinating. We got to see the trailer for Gotham at the movies Saturday night when watching X-men, got me even more excited. My son seems completely uninterested in it, despite liking Batman movies a lot. Of course he's at the teen moody phase but still...he said it looks boring. I think it looks great, I'm sure it will be.

Batman didn't create the villains, they all only enhanced each other as the way it usually goes.
Gotham will be the thinking mans or woman's TV show. It will have action, but I think it will be a bit more cerebral than others. It will also have the chance to really take its time developing all the characters with some good storylines. Since Batman wont really be in the picture, they don't have a time frame to fit everything into waiting for the Dark Knight to show up.
