I enjoyed almost all of the books on the list, even the Sands of the Cape Fear River, even though I don't usually care for historical fiction.
The Once and Future World was engaging for the subject matter and I would recommend it if this is a subject you are interested in.
Her Perspective: Gaia Speaks About Her True Story was a book I truly disliked. I would have put it down after 2 chapters if I wasn't using it to complete a reading challenge. I found the narrative to just be a tangled mess even though I would have enjoyed it if it had simply been a retelling of female mythologies.

I love books and I can usually enjoy any book I read - however, some of the books I chose to fulfill another reading challenge and I really didn't enjoy them as much as the others.
I was disappointed with The Underground Railroad - I didn't see the necessity of creating an actual physical railroad. I found it took away from the overall story line.
The Priest had an interesting concept but I felt that it had been done before.
Run, Girl was too much like Gone Girl. Similar format and story line but not quite as good.
Gone with the Wind is a classic for a good reason, but I was angry about the presentation of slavery as a good and kind institution.
Tagged: The Apocalypse is a mix of Left Behind and Zombie books and I didn't feel that it was well done.
