Chapter 22:

This book actually really fascinates me! Although i think i am comparing it to the Night Circus. In this story, i can at least understand the aim of the game and the risks involved (unlike NC)

Scarlet is a character i've actually grown to like, even if she is so desperate to find her sister, she doesn't think twice about anything. I find each character and place so mystical, I'm really surprised that many people here are struggling through it!

Onto Julian (view spoiler)[ Major plot twists on his character! Being a person that can see through most mysteries, it never occurred to me that he might be the Legend of all people! Also, i was really surprised that Scarlet never put two and two together about Annalise (hide spoiler)]

Tella actually seems like a pretty mean character to me! Selfish and pretty much doesn't care for her sister at all. I don't know if i want her rescued.

I'm excited to read on and see what other trouble she gets herself into and whether they'll be more twists in the future :)

I also think that Scarlet's groom may be Legend? I mean, it seems weird that he sent them invitations in the first place, and now the clothes? Let's read some more! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I have to say I was a little surprised with how Tella and Julian went about bringing Scarlett along, but I also couldn't really think of any way she would have went along with it anyway! It seemed a bit odd from the beginning that Tella was separated from them. Something had to happen with that. But anyway...I am actually really loving the relationship between Julian and Scarlett. Even though Scarlett is a bit apprehensive with him they still seem to work together well and each bring their own strength and knowledge to the table. I'm with Scarlett - it would definitely be hard to remember "this is all a game" especially when the game is something so personal to you. I have to be honest - I just wonder how authors come up with this stuff! Loving it (hide spoiler)]

I've always been at least a little skeptical of Julian since the beginning - but would it be so crazy if he actually was falling in love with her? If he's been working with Legend I wonder how Dante earned his fate and by who's hand? Is Julian truly gone? (hide spoiler)]

How I feel about this ... (view spoiler)[ so to start off, Tella and scarlets father is a huge piece of Monkey Dung! How can he treat them that way. I feel as though Tella is the abrasive one, the one who most likely get herself in trouble while Scar is the one who is always there to pick up the pieces. It saddened me to learn of thier mother and that they had been writing to the Caraval with no answer for so long.
Julian I am still not to sure about although it does seem like he cares about Scarlett, I kind of like the name crimson...even though she doesn't..lol (hide spoiler)]

OK this is kind of creepy (view spoiler)[ so they finally make it into Caraval after stealing some clothes and getting some warmth in a weird clock tower store. Once they get out it seems like the time is going faster. Scar still hasn't located Tella and fears like she may never find her. She sees a reflection of herself in what she thinks is an enchanted dress, this part really caught my attention, she goes on to tell us that she doesn't want her beauty to be seen that she would rather wear ratty clothing so no-one looks at her. That is usually not the case. Finally once they are in they start a game that needs a blood signature, they are warned that they may even die, well what kind of game is this!! (hide spoiler)]

This book is seriously creepy... seriously... (view spoiler)[ so they finally get into the inn where the game is set to start. Scarlett has yet to find her sister, and Julian is being more and more ungentelmanly ( not sure that's a word) ...lol, he even took the bed the first night when she clearly expressed that she was uncomfortable with it. In there room they find there clues, the clue is Tella's name and room number. When she gets there she hears Tella grunting and a man in there with her. She assumes she is being reckless. How messed up is that!! In fact she is part of the game now everyone is looking for Tella. I think Scar has an unfair advantage. (hide spoiler)]

The time moving super fast, bridges moving, people that are in the game even if you don't know they are.....ooo thought, what if Julian is actually part of the game instead of playing with her.
