Tella really brought out the adventurous side in Scarlett, even if she had to worry her so much to do it. I'm so glad that he sisters are now free of their father and I can't wait to know more about the deal that Tella made with Legend! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Wow, that ending was a lot. So much happened. I am still concerned that we didn't get to see Legend or even really know who he is. But Legend being Julian's brother is something. I knew he was hiding something. I guess he couldn't tell Scarlett that he was a player because of the magic but he did try to warn her with the necklace. The fact that he was supposed to basically bring her and Tella to Caraval and then disappear but didn't is something too. I could tell that he cared about Scarlett deep down and I loved their chemistry. And I liked Scarlett's character development over the course of the story. What Tella did to orchestrate the whole thing was really successful if she was trying to get her sister to see the big picture and to think for herself and want more. Overall, I really liked this book. I wish that the world-building had been a bit more because I was a little confused about the empires or whatnot but maybe the next book goes into that more. I'll definitely read the next one. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[That was one thing that seemed like a plot hole to me. Rosa really died and she was not a performer. But Tella isn't a performer either and she lived? I mean, she died but she came back to life because Scarlett "wished" or "wanted" it so? I didn't really get that part. (hide spoiler)]

I am glad that they are free of their father as well. He was a terrible man. And I am glad that Scarlett is finally deciding to live for herself. And yes, I am eager to continue the series and find out more about Legend and Tella's deal with him. (hide spoiler)]
