I’m quite excited! I know everyone is raving about these books, so I hope they won’t disappoint. (view spoiler)[Their father is a real ass for sure damn!! I don’t particularly like Tella yet, especially since she seems to steal Scarlett's stuff and makes Scarlett take the blame for everything, while she’s the one sleeping around.

Already have 2 theories lol, for one I think that Julian(for some reason I convinced myself that his name is Julien and I keep calling him that???) is with the carnaval, he sounds too random. Second theory is that she’ll definitely meet her count at the carnaval!!

The story was cool, although Legend is apparently a villain. Since he was in love with a blonde chick, I’m guessing he’s going to fall for Tella?🙄 Anyway, it seemed like their grandma had magic too, since the scenes came alive before their eyes? Or was that just their fantasy taking over?? Wasn’t really clear to me. I’m liking it so far though, can’t wait for the action to start. Julian is definitely with Caraval, why else would he ‘help’ them get to the isle? (hide spoiler)]

I really thought he was with them, but it now sounds like he’s there to get revenge or something. Ah yes a woman died in the past, definitely someone of Julian’s then.

A blood contract? Seriously, why is Scarlett being so stupid -.- I thought she’d take the clock deal too by the way, which would definitely have been stupid too, so I’m glad that she didn’t.

Why do I feel like that wasn’t really Tella, but just her voice? I feel like she did bargain with that clock dude and he took her voice? If it was indeed Tella though, then I really dislike her. She really does only care about herself and jumps into bed with everyone.

I like Dante, but I immediately think of Ruthless Boys with that name, where one of the main characters is called Dante😂😂 And I love her dress hahaha I can’t believe it changed. Also, all that talk about her grandmother saying that Legend knows all, makes me first of all think that she personally knew him, and second of all, that must mean that Legend knows about her not being engaged to Julian? So they didn’t have to lie because he knows the truth anyway..?

Of course the pregnant chick will run away with your stuff!!! Dammit you’re stupid sometimes Scarlett. Waaaaait a second, her mother disappeared too; what if she’s the woman that died during Caraval? Tella is definitely sleeping with Legend by the way, ew. Had a feeling Julian would look like him, but I’m hoping he isn’t Legend cuz I kind of hate that. It’s cute that he gave a day of his life though, I like him so far. And Dante’s fiancé died, but I honestly thought their mother was called something with Rosa - so I thought it was their mother that died oops.

Ugh and now she’s suddenly not trusting him again? This is getting on my nerves so freaking bad. I hate that she’s pushing him away again suddenly. Ugh. She definitely has magic though, she can sense others emotions.

Julian said before that he wasn’t the one who went into the tunnels, so what if it’s just Legend posing as him or some random shape shifter or whatever, probably the thing that everyone was so afraid of? What comes out at day time or something? It at least seemed like everyone of the crew was quite afraid of the day time. I feel like that’s it & the guy she saw going into Tella’s room isn’t Julian either. And wtf is her father suddenly doing here? How would he be able to get in? I mean they had to go in before midnight and he didn’t; then how did he get into Caraval in the first place?

Well no surprise whatsoever, Rosa was Julien’s sister and he’s here to get revenge. But Dante is dead, ahw. Pff she finally figured out that Annalise was Legend’s lover. Didn’t expect Legend to want to take revenge on her offspring though, it’s cute that he cared so much. I knew Julian wouldn’t be Legend, but I’m glad it’s now confirmed and she understands too, because I’m already sick of this drama lmao. I’m so glad that they kissed yay!! Finally! Lol the count didn’t actually seem that bad in the end😂😂 Poor Julian will probably have a scar though. But it was really cute that he didn’t want to leave her behind :’) I’m sure she’s going to find out something about him, but I hope this moment will remind her that he really does care about her and that she shouldn’t start drama with him again. What the fuck man. Also Dante won last game, but was now part of the crew. Since Scarlett has just won; does that mean she’s now part of the crew as well? Alright I thought that guy with Tella was Legend, but maybe it wasn’t? A friend? And what payment was he talking about? I feel like she said that she and Scarlett would join the game again, either as a player or as crew? No clue. And apparently their mother is still alive, no surprise there again. I’m not really looking forward to the next book since I believe that’s from Tella’s perspective..

I really did like the atmosphere of the book, but because I disliked Tella so much, it was hard to care about the reasons why Scarlett was there in the first place. I’m seriously not sure how I feel, on the one hand I liked it, but on the other hand I’m massively disappointed. This is exactly why I stay away from crazy popular books that everyone likes (unless I’ve read them before the hype lol), they've been hyped so much that I'm almost always disappointed XD (hide spoiler)]
