It's dark urban fantasy.
Don't You Wish: When plain and unpopular Annie Nutter gets zapped by one of her dad's whacked-out inventions, she lands in a parallel universe where her life becomes picture-perfect. Now she's Ayla Monroe, daughter of the same mother but a different father—and she's the gorgeous, rich queen bee of her high school.
But on the insde, Ayla is still Annie.
It's a teenie-movie-parallel-universes-thing. Entirely contemp.
Airhead: EM WATTS IS GONE. Emerson Watts didn't even want to go to the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. But someone needed to look out for her sister, Frida, whose crush, British heartthrob Gabriel Luna, would be singing and signing autographs there-along with the newly appointed Face of Stark, teen supermodel sensation Nikki Howard. How was Em to know that disaster would strike, changing her, and life as she'd known it, forever?
It's YA paranomal, a bit thriller-ish: Geek switches into super-model' body and has to live her life.

Restoree This is somewhat dated, simply because of when it was written (1967-ish). The story is your basic alien-invasion-snatching-humans-for-unknown-purposes with some romance thrown in. Our heroine, a research librarian, is given a fairly extensive body make-over by what is basically an alien plastic surgeon. (He's from a different lot of aliens than those that kidnapped her.) Romance thrown in, along with her saving the day here and there. Still, if you like Anne McCaffrey it's a fun way to see what her writing style was like way back when, when she first started getting published.

I'd appreciate it if there are no time travels involve; modern woman waking up in Victorian era in a lady's body.
