Thank you everyone! I seriously cannot believe I am 17.
I leave for Nashville in the morning, so I should have plenty of reading time tomorrow. :) Please pray for a safe trip!

Father, protect Grace J as she travels, and please bless her journey with joy and fellowship.
Hey y'all. I finished up my copyedit job yesterday, so I'm working on some books for this game again. Finished up one last night and requested a letter. Now I'm working on Emma and My Soul Sings.Anyone else reading on this Sunday afternoon?
I seriously love this group! Thank you for making me smile. :)
Update: As always, I didn't get to read as much as I wished. I have a bad habit of falling asleep in the car instead if reading.
But, I did finish The Scorch Trials, review to be posted soon!
Go Team!

I need to write my reviews... I have 2-3 to update for this and might finish reading one today. I would have had more but a couple of the last ones I read don't qualify because one is too short and the other is manga.
Got it! Ladies, we are starting a new puzzle and need some letters. How close is everyone to having a book or two done? I am hoping ti finish Emma today (Thursday).
I wrote three reviews today, but sadly only one will count toward this contest. Hopefully I will have two more up tomorrow that will count. So many books to read and review... I'm in the middle of a book called The Bone Witch and starting on King's Blood. That second book is a doozy at 600 pages and 200,000 words, so we will see how long it takes. What are you all reading?
Mattie's Pledge. Normally, Jolina Petersheim and Bob Hostetler are my only Amish or Mennonite authors, but I won three Amish books so wanted to give them a try. I am liking most of them!
I am finishing up Emma and will be starting Everlasting Light next. It's short, but I haven't yet checked the exact page count. I will be reading Submerged after that. Thanks, Staci!
I am 20% done with the Death Cure. I should have some reading time tonight!
That's great, Grace J! That series were quick reads for me. It seems they are for you as well. Would you agree?I finally finished Emma! Whew! That book took me exactly one month to read. Crazy, I know. But I had back-to-back copyedit jobs that prevented me from really settling into the storyline those first two or three weeks. I really enjoyed it and hope to read it again sometime when I may fully appreciate it without too many interruptions.
Now I'm reading a little novella that won't count for this game (too short), but it shouldn't take me too long. Then, I'll be reading Submerged by Dani Pettrey, which will definitely count.
Team, we are significantly behind the other team. They figure out their puzzles really fast! Any ideas for squeezing in more books per week?
For me, I am able to read during my lunch break, which might add a few extra chapters per day/week.
No worries. Each book gets us a point and a guess, so they're still helpful, for sure. And maybe you'll go on a streak here on your next few books.
Yay Staci! I am almost finished with The Death Cure. My grandma took to to Books-A-Million today, where I bought lovely copies of a few of my favorite classics, so I will be reading those next!
Andrea, in answer to your question, I'm finding that they are quick reads...however, I'm getting bored with the series so this book is taking longer for me to get through than it should. :/ I need a change of pace!
Staci wrote: "The streak has ended!!! Three letters from my last read in our current puzzle. :-)"Yippee!!! You go, girl!
Grace wrote: "Andrea, in answer to your question, I'm finding that they are quick reads...however, I'm getting bored with the series so this book is taking longer for me to get through than it should. :/ I need ..."Know what you mean. I skimmed the last one just to get through it, because I was so bored with it. Glad you had a fun trip with your grandma!
Yay, Stacy! Andrea, I'm doing well. I spent the weekend with a friend, though, so I haven't gotten any reading done in the past couple days. We've been binge-watching an anime. (Yeah, we're nerds in more than one way.) Then we went to church and to this awesome Japanese festival today. In other news, as of Friday, I'm leading a Goodreads read-through thing for the Tales of Goldstone Woods over the next few months! How are you doing?
Sounds like loads of fun in your world right now!I had a binge-reading weekend to catch up on a challenge for February. I am now on my last book for that particular challenge, so I am feeling better about it now.
So we are looking for a first name that is 9 letters long with only one E, which is the last letter. I have found a few but cannot think of a relevant last name to go with them. Any ideas?Katharine
Catharine
Charlotte
Christine
Any other ideas on 9-letter first names with only one E, in the last position?
ANNNND I'm finally finished with the Maze Runner series. I don't like not completely finishing a series, but I just can't see myself reading the two prequels. Ugh.
I need to read a classic. ASAP.

Sorry I haven't been reading much. I just got back from a week long speech and debate tournament in North Carolina, so I haven't had a lot of time for reading. I will read more this week, though, I promise :)
Sounds like you have had a busy week! Hopefully you will get some rest and reading time in this week. (Maybe that's the new meaning of R&R: rest and reading.)
Christine is the only one from my list that works as a first name. Anyone know what that last name could be, or any authors in Christian fiction with the first name of Christine?
Found it, but I feel silly. I saw that book yesterday but miscalculated the last name. Lol. Glad I didn't lose too much time for us. I should have another review ready at some point tomorrow.
I've decided to read only classics for my next few reads. There are so many that I haven't read yet, and several that I've been wanting to read again!
Am really struggling with my current book. But am hopeful I can finish it this weekend. How are y'all coming along on yours?
