So I just read
today (because I'm late getting it back to the library... oops). I'm not sure if it can count though. It is 204 pages but I can't find it on the arbookfind.com. I did however find it on another site but just am not 100% sure that it will count. If it does I'm not too sure it will fit with any cards either lol. http://www.readinglength.com/book/isb...

I finished
so now there is only one colored card left....a Yellow 6 which I do have a book for but I can honestly say I'm not terribly excited to read it *sigh* I had a lot of short books which makes it easier to knock a bunch out.

I don't think I have anyhing counting as yellow lying around=(
Looking at it again I think I may actually enjoy it. I'm going to start it this weekend so I have some time to get through it in case I don't like it.

LOL!! I actually go in spurts with nonfiction but I am not currently in a "spurt"....maybe that book will start a new one....
Finished Kråkejenta : Victoria Bergmans svakhet : første del, used as an 8.Going to a dental gathering the next two days, so not sure how much reading I'll be able to do.
Hopefully your dental gatherings are more fun than conferences I have to attend...normally I end up drinking waaay more coffee than I should in an attempt to stay awake!!
Always too much coffee. I have learned to bring my knitting, that way I don't fall asleep during lectures =P
I finished
and used it for a 1. We were supposed to be going out of town for the weekend but we have a blizzard moving in so we decided to stay home and I'm pretty excited to cuddle up on the couch with my nonfiction book *sigh*

This book really frustrated me! But I guess the author's debut book got great reviews so I may try that one before I boycott her.
Which one frustrated you? They should be announcing the mini-challenge sometime today. It should be interesting.

was frustrating! The MC was such a pawn. I wanted to smack her. Ugh!Any word on a mini? WooHoo!
That does get frustrating! I've had to put books down and walk away for a break from the nonsense before.
It's one of those books when someone is trying to make you look crazy - and even though she knew this, she acted like a nutter anyway.

I know I will read a book or two from the Kate Daniels-series this month, so I can use those for part 1 (author of team names) and 3 (name in book from team names). I've already read the first one though, so part 2 doesn't work. However, I have the first Harry Dresden book if nobody else have a book they plan to read that fit part 2.
V Nerd wrote: "wow, I had to read that a few times lol"Yep, I still have to doublecheck that I understand it correctly:P
Im reading the Crucifix Killer at the miment which us the Robert Hunter series, and i know im going to read book 2 next so i'll hold fire for a couple of days
I think this mini-challenge would be another good one where we "claim" tasks so we don't accidentally double up. What do you guys think?
Jennifer wrote: "I think this mini-challenge would be another good one where we "claim" tasks so we don't accidentally double up. What do you guys think?"Sounds good to me=)
For the Scrabble-part, should we make words first and then find books for the letters or read planned books, see what letters they fit and make words from there?
I also have a Jojo Moyes book for Part One.I'm torn on the scrabble part. I almost feel like we should do words first so we can focus on completing them because we will only get credit for one unfinished word at the end. But I'm willing to do either.
In that case should we try for 7 letter words since they give more bonus points? It's not too many vowels, mostly just E-s, and some of the more basic consonants are missing:P Anybody creative with words?
I could probably get hold of a book from Sophie Kinsella or J.D. Robb at the library, but I don't have any at the moment.
I'm almost done with an "E" book now
I will go read up on the mini challenge now... :)
