Christine | 64 comments If the world will let me, I can do some serious reading. Life has been keeping me busy though. I didn't like Watership Down. I would have stopped reading if we didn't need it. After reading some of the reviews, I thought I was going to really enjoy it. :(

I agree with you Christine. I read Watership Down a few years ago, and I was disappointed. I kept hoping it would get better, but it didn't. It wasn't a children's story because it was a little to violent, but it also was an adult novel. In the end, I think it is a novel that will appeal more to a male audience that the female.

I'm reading the last 20 pages of Spider's Bite just now and that'll be it for me for Uno.

Also, I will not be around tomorrow on our last day of the challenge, so the last updates will be made by Annika on her lonesome. ;-)

You were a great team and I hope you enjoyed Uno!! :-D

Chris, it's funny you said that about Watership Down. I absolutely loved it as a middle-schooler, but when I tried it as an adult, I just couldn't do it! I'm almost afraid to try rereading The Hobbit!

Annalisa | 1659 comments I just finished a book, but it doesn't fit any of the open tasks. Is there anything that can be moved around?

Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels, #2) by Lisa Kleypas

I have words: flower, eggs, and petal. And letters: h Hellen, r Rhys, k Kathleen, c Carys, a Albion Vance, b Lady Berwick, p Pandora.
The Book also has a mostly white cover.

If needed I will go back and get the pages and sentence for the words but I didn't want to hunt for them if they weren't necessary.
