Annalisa | 1659 comments When it says a gray cover how gray does it need to be?

Would either of these work?
The Inventor's Secret (The Inventor's Secret #1) by Andrea Cremer Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by Robin LaFevers

message 1112: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Hmm, there's no extra instructions given for that one, but I'd say the same applies as for the colour cards - so at least 50%.

I'd say yes to your first option, but not the second. The red dress is too prominent for the cover to be grey enough.

And if that don't help, E snd I are slways happy to lend a hand! :)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I was trying to decide what to read next. I think I'll read Grave Mercy because I like the tag line more. "Why be the sheep when you can be the wolf?"

message 1116: by Eldarwen (new)

Eldarwen | 5004 comments Oh that does sound interesting! And there's plenty of other tasks where it'll fit, I'm sure.

Besides, we'll get more tasks still once we send in the answers to the riddles.

Eldarwen | 5004 comments I need to get myself organised for the end of the month :-p

Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare will be done tonight - that it the 2 card I claimed.

The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham is going to be up next and if I get as much reading time as I'm hoping for, then I should be done with it by the end of the weekend. (4 card)

And then I have the 7 Blue with Shopaholic and Baby (Shopaholic, #5) by Sophie Kinsella , which is hopefully going to be a quick read as well because I kind of also want to read Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep soon, preferably the coming week.

IF someone wants to snag the 7 Blue, feel free to do so! In case it fits with other challenges or whatever book you want to read for the mini challenge - you never know! ;-)

That numbering is messed up. There isn't even a book 6. It goes straight from 5 to 6.1 to 6.5 then to 7.

I'm a librarian, so let me research it on the website and see if I should correct it.

ETA - well, it appears she (or the publisher) counts the short story that is in an anthology as book 6 but don't even attribute a number to the novella between that and the last book. Crazy I tell you!
