I have trouble imagining Luke Evans in the role of Gaston, but then... maybe... I like him quite a bit as an actor. I don't know Josh Gad though, apart from the fact that IMDB just told me that he was Olaf's voice in Frozen.
Eldarwen wrote: "Whaaaaaa?!Ewan McGregor is Lumière. Now I HAVE to go see it :-DDD"
Yes! He was amazing! I love listening to his version of "Be our guest".
And Ian McKellen is Cogsworth and Emma Thompson is Mrs Potts. It's like a dream cast!
And now I will listen to Come What May and Your Song all day long.Yes, Moulin Rouge was magnificent!
Ginger wrote: "And now I will listen to Come What May and Your Song all day long.Yes, Moulin Rouge was magnificent!"
*siiiiigh* :-))
Not a favourite movie but all the Ewan McGregor talk put me in the mood for it:Have you seen "Salmon Fishing in Yemen"? He speaks with his lovely Scottish accent in that one. It also has Emily Blunt, whom I like very much as well.
It's hard to choose only one favourite movie. I love The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile (Tom Hanks ❤ ), The King's Speech (Colin Firth ❤❤❤), Whiplash, The Prestige and many Marvel movies. And of course Star Wars ❤❤❤
Mine was Harry Potter xD I have a thing for guys with glasses. But it was a short one caue I didn't like how he looked in 4th movie. Later it was Mr Darcy. Ach, Mr Darcy... Now I feel like rereading Pride and Prejudice
But, I really love all the Marvel movies and anything, absolutely ANYTHING, with Hugh Jackson. And, of course, Star Wars ;-)

Guys, are you planning to make me sing all week? Songs from Grease are one of best for karaoke party, especially "You're the one that I want". And there's also one song with my name so I always have to sing it.
Ach, Dirty Dancing... I wish I could dance like Baby.
Ginger wrote: "Ach, Dirty Dancing... I wish I could dance like Baby."I wish I could be TAUGHT to dance like Baby!!! ;-)
Haha, yeaaaaaah, I really wouldn't mind being taught to dance like her either!!Dirty Dancing is also on my list of all-time favourites. The music is just fantastic.

So my friend, who knows how obsessed I am with every adaptation of Cinderella (I have seen already 29 movies and I am sure I will find some more) was today in bookstore and buy me a present. I love her so much.I am starting to read it tomorrow:

Aww, it's awesome to have friends like that!! :-)Wow though! I didn't realise there where THAT many adaptations of Cinderella out there!!
One of the few I've seen is "A Cinderella Story" with Chad Michael Murray.
There are even more but some old one it's hard to find. The oldest I watched is from 1899. And because we talked about Dirty Dancing and Baby, there is also one with Jennifer Grey. :DI love A Cinderella Story with Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Duff. It was the first I saw after Disney animation.
I love the cinderella adaptations!Have you seen Roger and Hammersteins Cinderella? ( There's one with Julie Andrews and another with Brandi and Whitney Huston) The songs from them are tough to get out of your head! :D
Of course I did! Roger and Hammersteins Cinderella is a classic! And I love Julie Andrews, she's amazing! The one with Whitney Huston makes me laugh because they wanted to have multi-racial cast. So there is a white king and black queen and they have Asian son. But still I like it, just like most of musical I watched. :D

She is so amazing!
And I agree, the newer version has a hilarious cast, but I still love the movie. (And now I have one of the songs stuck in my head - and I haven't even watched it in years!)

I was in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella when I was in high school. I played the nastier stepsister. So much fun & the costumes were fabulous! My favorite song was Ten Minutes Ago... Memories.

Some broke to my brain and created my geek heaven. So many fandoms are mentioned in it and I am afraid of myself that I know them all.
And convention and cosplay. I am going to the biggest convention in my country in the end of the April and I can't wait!

I think Romancing Mister Bridgerton is being used twice. Once in hand 2 for a Draw 2 and again in hand 12 for a 7. I thought maybe two people read it but that wasn't the case.
Annalisa wrote: "I think Romancing Mister Bridgerton is being used twice. Once in hand 2 for a Draw 2 and again in hand 12 for a 7. I thought maybe two people read it but that wasn't the case."Oh good catch!
I switched it from one place to the other but forgot to delete one...
I just started listening to Moby Dick. I'm not sure if I'll finish it by the time this month is over or not. I do have a bit more driving than normal scheduled so it's possible. It is 24.5 hours long.
I just started it this morning. I've read a bunch of books that are retelling a of Moby Dick and loved them. Hopefully the original is good too. My last audio book was 11 hours, but 24.5 hours isn't really that long. The Song of Ice and Fire series audiobooks are 40-60 hours. Took me 3 months to listen to Game of Thrones. Those are long. I'm considering listening to War and Peace this year and that one will be long. Want to read, "listen", to a few classics this year. I always say I'm going to get to them and don't. The audio version seems to work better for me.
True, in comparison, it really isn't all that long. I don't know really why I thought Moby Dick would be longer on audio. Maybe because it's a not particularly small classic. It is rather refreshing to listen to some of the classics rather than read them. I enjoy listening to Jane Austen books when they're read by women with lovely (posh) British accents because that fits the stories and setting so well!
There is a challenge I'm participating in (via a blog) that has me reading a classic a month. They need to fit specific tasks, such as written by a female or male author, Russian classic, published in X year, and so forth. I enjoy it quite a bit as it does make me read more of them. I've read several classics over the course of school/studies, but I've taken a longish break and this challenge brought me back to reading them.
