Rating: ★★1/2
Possible Cards:

Skip - K - author Kasey Michaels
Draw 2 - Same book for 2 cards
I'm a little confused by #2 of the mini-challenge: 2. Read one book that is one of the team names for 30 points
Note: Where a team name is a series book, only book 1 of the series can count for this part
Aren't all of the team names character names? So how does it work to read one of the team names as a book? Sorry if I am missing the obvious here...
Basically, you have to read the corresponding book to the team name. For Kate Daniels, it would be reading the first book in the series. For stand-alones like Team Augustus Waters, it would be reading The Fault in Our Stars.
As for the third task, you read books where you can find the names of the characters corresponding to the team name.I.E. you'd hunt down your books for names such as Kate, Curran, Rafael (Team Kate Daniels), Ron, Harry, Hermione (Team Ron Weasley), Adam, Samuel, Darryl, Mercy (Team Mercy Thompson)... etc.

Okay, I kind of got that, it's just worded weird. If they want us to read the book the name was derived from, I couldn't figure out why they didn't just say that.
Anyway, if I were to read book 1 of Kate Daniels for #2, would it also work for #1 or would I have to read different books for 1 and 2?
One book per task only, so the book would either work for 1 or for 2.Also if you read a book for whichever of tasks 1-3, you won't be able to use it for the spell-out of the scrabble (which is task 4).
Btw, don't worry about the second task though, Ginger already offered to read The Fault in Our Stars.

Gotcha.
I'll be reading At Grave's End - this would cover one of the books for task one.
I'm going to read Because of Miss Bridgerton which covers 1, 2, or 3 of the first part. I may have already mentioned that. Daylight savings time has really messed with my brain. I really wish we wouldn't do it. As a result I'm not sure what I have and have not said and where I have said it. For the scrabble part how do we decide on words? Anyone up for strawberry short cake? (Unfortunately we are short an A.)
Strawberry short cake would be awesome right about now! I just finished dinner, so a little dessert.... ;-)Miss Bridgerton has been slotted towards the author task (#1).
I'm going to pick up
for task 1, and
for task 3. And maybe, if challenges allow, I'll also read
for task 1 and
for task 3. But then, I also need to see how much time is left in the month by the time I'm done with the first two hehe.
For the scrabble part, is it better to try for one long word or several shorter ones? If it's too long, we run the chance of not completing it, right?
Maybe we just read books and see what letters we have and make words from them. I had a similar question about that works.

Don't forge..."
Yes, ma'am! I promise!!
I also have the entire Harry Potter Universe of names to use in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2!
For Scrabble, I'm inclined to agree with Annalisa's suggestion of just seeing what we can come up with in the first few days after the mini challenge starts and then see how we can combine them.Longer words might be better though as we're restricted on the vowels.

Possible Cards:
1 - First in Series
6 - Character Sybilla
8 - Character Edward (he is only talked about and isn't ever present)
I'm having a hard time coming up with places for this novel to fit.
Mini March Challenge Author.
Annalisa, there's always the Wild Draw 4 if it doesn't fit anywhere else :-) Edward can't be used as a character for the cards however if he is never actually present and has no dialogue - just so you know for future reference.
Minor characters can be used for the cards but they need to have at least a few lines of dialogue, and preferably a teeny bit of import in the story.

Oh nice! I really, really need to pick up that book! I'm absolutely ashamed that I haven't read it yet - and to think I almost flipped out when I won a paperback copy in a giveaway...
I hope you enjoy Magic Bites!!

I still haven't read Lolita but it's on my list for classics I hopefully will manage to get to this year. I heard a lot of different opinions on this book, and I find your statement intriguing :-)

Wow, that's really, really great! :D
Go Ginger!!
Is there a specific rule you are thinking about?
I'll have to admit I'm not a scrabble player, so I can't just say yes :)
Just the rule that the word really exists. ;) There's always problem with archaic and specialist terminology cause people sometimes try to cheat and change words a little and hope other player won't find out. So I always check words on scrabble dictionary. :)
