Marie wrote: "Is someone doing the 5 green or shall i have a look if i can fill itETA i have nothing readily available"
I have nothing for 5 green either. Need to find something if we think we can still get all the hands done in a week.
Can everyone check in? Tell us how you are doing?
Thanks!
Checking in! Reading Harry Potter right now, which will fit for many cards and give us some points on the mini challenge. Might get one more book squeezed in, but that'll be tight. Will see how I get on.
Sorry I've not had much time to update. I've quickly put the most recent books on the normal March spreadsheet but not had time to do the mini challenge- I'm not very good at anagrams!I've listed all the books you've said you're going to read so if you could check the spreadsheet and see if I've included them all.
The cards we currently don't have anything assigned to are:
2 one's
1 two
1 three
2 four's
1 5green
3 six's
1 seven
1 nine
2 reverse's
2 wild's
1 wild draw 4
Looks good Rachael!my thoughts going forward. Since most of us are not fast readers and 5 green is really difficult to find, I suggest we concentrate on trying to finish hands 12 and 13 (In addition to the books we are Currently reading and are already on the board.
(We also do NEED a 9 to finish hand 11! )
To do that the team would need to read 11 additional books between us. Mostly LOW numbered cards
1 - 2 of them, a 2, 3, and 4, two 6s, a reverse, a wild and a wild draw 4. My 1 blue could always just be a 1 so we don't lose those points. It is just a suggestion but remember we only get points for the cards we finish.
Lullabies for Little Criminals by Heather O'Neill complete. This does fit the 5 green as there is a character named Isabelle (minor character though if it matters)
Also fits 0 - stand alone
3 - author first name
I don't think it fits anywhere for March mini.
I've been in hospital for a couple days having wrist surgery so I should have a couple more books by the end of the week.
Checkin in. I am currently reading Doctor Sleep (almost over). It will work for mini challenge part 3 and also for 2, Skip, 4, 3, 6, ... I will finish it later today. I will be able to read at least one more book until the end of the month. I will check the spreadsheet to see which tasks we have available and let you know later what I will read.
Dragana wrote: "Checkin in. I am currently reading Doctor Sleep (almost over). It will work for mini challenge part 3 and also for 2, Skip, 4, 3, 6, ... I will finish it later today. I will be abl..."
