Its annoying and frustrating! GR members are deleting the book and then readding it to help "solve" the problem. I think it happens because we accidently hit the wrong button.
Go to your homepage, hit the "my books" at the top of the page. Find the book you want to delete and hit the "x" on the right hand side. Wait for GR to process and then "ok". The book is off your shelf and you can add the book again. Hopefully no "reading for the second time" this time! Good luck.

Main cities, FYI: (note: some cities have changed from March due to daylight savings)
Sydney: 7pm, 1st May
Tokyo: 6pm, 1st May
London: 10am, 1st May
New York: 5am, 1st May
San Francisco: 2am, 1st May
Only books read prior to this time can be used for April.
Captains will have 36 hours from this point to update and finalise spreadsheets.

Oh, that seems like a hassle :( . Thank you for the info though and the luck :D. Its says so for most of my UNO shelf books, so I think I'll wait till after the challenge in case it messes up something :)

Here are some I have found:
kangaroo, koala, echidna, dingo, platypus, wallaby and wombat.
Edit: I'm not having much luck finding books I own that meet the requirement for:
Read a book with a 1 &6 in the page count
Read a book with an 8 & 0 in the page count

Its really hard to find one. Sigh.
Let me see if I can find one to fit either of those :)
PS. Do the captains have 36 hours after the challenge finishes or before ? I didn't get that.

Page count is 169, so will work for "Read a book with a 1 &6 in the page count".

Page count is 180, so will work for "Read a book with an 8 & 0 in the page count".
Only problem is I can't check the word count cause it's not there in arbookfind.
