Quick question,I dont think I wont be able to finish a new book by tomorrow. but If I start a new one now, would it still count for the April Challenge when I finish it then ?
I think I saw that this was already added to the spreadsheet, but just wanted to write for confirmation purposes here that I did finish The Austere Academy today.

I saw someone ask this in the question thread too asking about books started in February and finished in March and they said they could be started in February but finished in March and would count for March... so I would think started in March and finished in April would be able to count for April?

I just realized we didnt update the few last books for the March month. So I updated it and wrote to the Perks Moderator, hopefully it will count.
Oh have you guys seen that : <--- although you can skip this hand to get to the next one, (you can skip one complete hand per month)you didn't complete hand 9, so then you can't get points for subsequent hands. -ModWe lost quite a bit of points from March :(

What are your next in line books so maybe I can try to add one of them to the list ?
Carol wrote: "Sorry last point, for the reverse, those are my next books I wanted to read, anyone planned to read one of them ? :- The Nest

I have not read any of those.
My next three planned are:
-The Vile Village
-The Hostile Hospital
-The Carnivorous Carnival
All three of those are on Kim's read shelf, so they can all count for reverse if needed.
I also planned to try to read Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari this month, if anyone has read that. (I'm more iffy on this one.... I'm supposed to read it for a book club, but I'm not 100% positive I will)
I'm just glad there aren't color cards every other hand this time... those ones were hard to find/choose because they were so specific! (looks like it's only three within the first 8 hands...but then the last hand is ALL color cards)
It helps a great deal when you go ahead and say what cards a book will work for once you've read it. Thanks for the extra help for those who do that!

I didnt add it to the sheet yet because since it fits in a lot of place might be useful to be strategic about it.
I have had some family stuff going on the last few days so I haven't really had much time to read, but I should be getting back into the swing of it the next few days.
No worries ! Anyway i think since our scores now its all about having fun reading and do the best we can :D

So reading the mini challenge (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) .... am I understanding right that we have to find the hidden questions at the beginning of each thread, find the answers, have the captain send the answers to Pixie in a DM, and then we get the tasks for that team?So to get Team Will Traynor tasks, we have to send the answer to our question to Pixie? And then do this for every team?
So our question is: On Easter, what do you have to do if you want good luck in the coming year?
and the answer is: You have to wear a new piece of clothing -
Women often purchase new bonnets for the occasion.
and then we do that for every team that has questions? It looks like some just have the tasks listed already, but others we have to answer questions?
