History:
Ever since birth the twins have basically been inseparable, they originated in California and stayed there for the longest time before moving to New York. Personality: Tevi is naturally pessimistic but likes to joke around. He wants to make people proud, but has a tendency to bend rules if he thinks their unfair. History: Tevi lived in Toronto with his younger sister and father in a middle class neighborhood. He went to public school and although his other marks were above average, he was particularly good in math and science, and passed with flying colours. Most of his time was spent on the basketball court or on the soccer field, until his father realized he was wasting his potential and made him apply to BLA. Although Tevi didn't want to go, he was eager to please his dad.

Personality: Catarina is a sweet caring girl who loves to write. She is quite bossy when it comes to being in charge. She always has a plan and makes sure everything goes to plan, unless she finds major plot holes. She already has her life planned from college to adulthood. She is also a hopeless romantic and hopes that she somehow finds love.
History: Catarina Clove was born on July 15th in Italy to her American mother and Italian father. When she was only five months old they moved to Colorado. When Catarina was three her mother gave birth to another daughter named Catalina Marie and Catarina loved her little sister to death. When it was time for Catarina to go to school, her parents sent her to a boarding school in New York, it was there where she discovered her writing talent. She has won multiple awards. Siena likes to dress with style to highlight herself, and tries to personalize, even if to a minimalist extent, her uniform and academic material. Nevertheless, she has a root for formal attires and etiquette.

Personality: Siena is very polite and formal with anyone, and likes that people note that of her. She is also very cultivated, and takes pride on that. She can get to appear a little arrogant about it, but in reality it's that she just tries to justify to herself that she, somehow, is different form the rest. She strives to be recognized.
Siena is very open-minded and emphatic, but she is selective with those she wants to be friends with, and she is not very talkative with anybody that isn't 'interesting enough' for her. She also is very touchy and won't open easily to people.
Siena's frown is naturally serious, but she tries to be smiley and optimistic. However, she dislikes pessimistic and depressive people. She judges herself pretty hard, expecting nothing but the best, and tries to be organized, but she doesn't always succeed.

History:
Siena grew on a town near Toronto, in Canada, on a family of 4. Her parents were mostly close with her, but pretty exigent and strict. Siena always tried to meet their standards and give her best, for she always thought that they knew what was best for her. However, that mentality wore off as their expectations only kept getting higher. She was constantly checked and didn't had any sort of privacy. She was forced to stay at home most of the time to study and almost never attended to any party nor made friends before high school because of this. It was on her freshman year that she decided that it was enough, and somehow managed to convince her parents to sent her abroad. She applied to BLA and has been there since her sophomore year. However, her old customs of being too self-exigent haven't changed.

Nerd is the best way to put it. Rodney wants to be right and is always correcting people. He needs to be surrounded by intellectual peers and constantly challenged, or he might just go insane.
Rude
Rodney isn't always the nicest person. He is polite around teachers and certain people, but otherwise he is generally insensitive. He doesn't always mean ill, but he comes across that way with his constant correcting and fake smiles.
Ambitious
Rodney wants to go on to do great things, and is sure he will. His main goal is to become the President of the United States of America, and is doing his best to go that way.
Hard-working
Rodney works hard in his classes and gets top grades, just as he expects of himself.
Logical
In the logic versus emotion personality types, Rodney is logical. He thinks of everything realistically and factually. He could become the president one day; he is following the right path to do that. Facts, right?
History: Rodney grew up an only child with high expectations, although his family didn't have much money. He went to public school, and his parents helped him with his homework after work. It wasn't the ideal setting, but he did his best to make it work.
He was displeased with how the public schools worked, shoving information at kids who weren't ready to process it yet because they hadn't been taught basic facts. If he becomes president, he plans to fix the education system.
After working hard through elementary, middle, and most of high school, he was ready for a change of pace. He applied for a scholarship to BLA, and was rewarded with one for his senior year of high school. He is sure this will help his plan to do great things.

Personality: She's pretty open with anyone, and even if you only had one conversation, if it didn't end in yelling or tears, she probably considers you a friend- an acquaintance at the least. She's goofy and teasing, but she takes secrets to the grave. so if you need anyone to talk to and trust, she's your girl. Sometimes though, the grins and the jokes seem to be covering something up...
History: She's friendly to everyone, unless you give her a reason not to be. But even though she likes to think she's friends with everyone, it doesn't mean she thinks you're a close friend. Those are reserved for a very select few. She's good at faking it though, and she's clever enough to let the person believe otherwise. While talking, you'll often find that conversations are at the surface level and you will leave not truly knowing her. That's because when she was younger, a girl she looked at almost as a sister left and that scarred her. Certain words trigger her and she has trouble letting people in now. That's why she acts so light-hearted, because if she seems to be all giggles, then no one will think she's actually far from it.
Oh, and she is starting Blue Lake Academy this year to escape this very past and to start over. She's always been rather "advanced" in her old school and she felt like there had to be more to school than just testing over and over again. So she came here. If it's the best of the best, then there must be more to it than just grades, right? Maybe she'll finally be satisfied?

Personality: He comes off as cold and abrasive. He will tell the truth bluntly, so don't ask him anything you might not want the answer to. Even though he doesn't write himself, he likes reading, if only to escape. He might not make friends, but he does seem to have a ton of connections and people who owe him favors...
History: He's rich, and most people use that to label him as arrogant and spoiled, but that's not really the case. His father raised him to believe he was the best of the best, but when he was little, he made friends with a little girl and they became extremely close. When they got older, he was quite taken with her, but she suddenly disappeared. He only heard afterwards that his father had given her money and sent her away. After that, he decided that friendships weren't worth the risk because if a girl he had been friends with for ten years since he was four decided that money was worth more than him, then everyone else would also leave or use him for money. His father sent him to Blue Lake when he was fifteen (a year after those events took place) so that he could "learn his place" among "the best of the best"

Personality: August is very loud and very wild. He isn't afraid to crack jokes in front of teachers or other students. He isn't afraid to bang on the lockers either after school. He is a giant ball of energy, constantly running around and talking to everybody. He is actually popular, due to his wild personality and his happy smile. He has a lot of friends. He isn't afraid to say what is on his mind. He can be very sarcastic, a bit flirty, but once you get to know him he can be very sweet, charming, and really overprotective.
History: August grew up with his sister, his brother, and his mother. His father was never around, which made August strive to be better at everything that he did, mostly school and soccer. August started playing soccer when he was four, getting a trophy was the highlight of his soccer career, but it was mostly just a participant trophy. However, the blood in his veins was constantly pumping, telling him to play soccer.
One of the main reasons why August and his family moved to America was that, his mother wanted the best for her kids. She wanted them to strive to do great things. She wanted them to be discovered. That is when they got into one of the biggest schools in America, and that is when August met a girl on the first day. That's when his crush developed, and he couldn't get rid of it.

Personality: Colt is a happy-go-lucky, dancing-through-the-streets, crazy happy person. She's passionate and your dream friend. She does have a dark side, as most of us do, and you certainly dont want to be on it. She cracks jokes and has books full of smart remarks that she can whip out at any moment. She loved trying to make her sister laugh. Shes also very smart, and loves to read.
History: Colt loves her life, and can only see the good in it. She once went to a friends farm, and she was chasing chickens. She picked one up and was cuddling it until the farm dog came along and spooked the chicken. The chicken scratched up Colt's arm, leaving scars on it years later. Appearance: Cade has the same brown hair as her sister, but her skin is a bit more tanned. While Colt’s eyes are laughing, Cade's are scared and helpless. They are generally wide open and shooting in every direction. Theyre baby blue like Colt's. Shes slim and 4'11" like her sister.

Personality: Scared. Something scared Cade badly and now shes paranoid and scared. She hides behind her sister constantly, in fact, people often forgot Colt had a sister. But Cade never minded. Shes calm and polite in company, but she doesnt talk much. She is just as smart as her sister, but doesnt show it, like Colt. Shes not an overly confident person. She has a low self esteem, but is relatively content with her life. She is just really afraid of life, but as Colt said one day, "You have to live it, and you have to love it."
History: Cade has seen a lot in her years. All the bad stuff that could happen to any one at any point happened in front of Cade. So, shes scared stiff. Colt tries to make make Cade laugh, and sometimes it works. Theres really not much else to say. Shes had a normal life. She just so happens to see everything bad that her sister happens to avoid. Its freaky.

Chloe is top of her class and always the first one to finish her tests. She also has a habit of reminding teachers of things they forget and correcting them when they are wrong.
Hard-working/Perfectionist
Despite her intelligence, Chloe spends hours and hours on her homework every night, striving for perfection. She gets easily stressed and overwhelmed, often feeling like she doesn't deserve to be at the school with all the other smart students. She gets close to tears every time she gets a low grade.
Sensitive
Chloe is very sensitive, taking most things personally and crying herself to sleep sometimes. Easily overwhelmed and easily upset, she is a fragile person.
Kind
Chloe does her best to fight and usually succeeds. She occasionally sheds a tear in class, but keeps it to herself and later lets it out. She is kind to almost everyone she meets, although sarcasm is helpful when dealing with people she just can't be nice to. She wants to help the world.

History: Chloe grew up with three siblings and two pet dogs at different times. She had an older sister who struggled with depression and was hospitalized for it, but turned into a better person that she was close with. She also had a twin brother and younger brother, both who annoyed her immensely but were lovable all the same.
When the time came, her older sister applied to BLA but wasn't accepted. Later, her and her twin brother both applied but only Chloe was accepted. Her acception was bittersweet to those who didn't make it in, especially her sister who hid her true feelings but felt like Chloe was "better" than her. Chloe went to BLA anyway, and currently attends.
She is close with her mother and father and had trouble leaving to go to boarding school at fifteen, but went at their insistence she follow her dream.

I was thinking she's naturally sensitive. I modeled her after myself.Yep approved and certain branches of science are interests, but not general science. Botany, chemistry, technology, and medicine.

Personality: Madeline is the type of person where she would rather talk about her characters then herself. She loves being in the world that she created for her stories. When texting she is the only person that she knows that uses punctuation and grammar. She is introverted although gets more comfortable around people as she gets to know them. She likes to keep the things that she creates just to herself especially her drawings. She typically only shares her pictures with her art teacher although sometimes she'll share them with her closest friends.
History: Although Madeline was born somewhat close to the academy on Vancouver Island her first language was Japanese. Even from a young age Madeline was always writing. Her parents both worked full time jobs and wanted the best for their daughter.
When she started elementary she had to do ESL along with a few other students. Everything including her biggest passion became hard and no one could understand her but grade two was different. Her English was better and she could understand subjects that didn't require a lot of reading and writing. Her grade two teacher was new to the school and had Japanese relatives. Madeline was in the middle of writing a story when the teacher walked by and noticed. She asked to take a look at Madeline's story and Madeline nodded. The teacher took the story back to her desk and started to read. At the end of the day the teacher asked her to stay after school. Madeline was worried at first but the teacher immediately started complementing her writing ability. The teacher then asked why this wasn't in her writing assignments. Madeline did her best to explain but thankfully her teacher understood and agreed to help her after school with her homework. By the end of the year Madeline's writing and reading assignment marks had jurrastically improved and by the end of 3rd grade she was done ESL. She started to enjoy her passions again and started drawing.
After graduating elementary and middle school she started school at Blue Lake Academy studying Creative Writing. That is where she is now.

Funny
Joshua has a joke to fit every situation, and his motto is to leave everyone he meets with a smile on their face. He has a way with facial expressions like raising an eyebrow so that people can't help but laugh.

He may be a comical guy, but if you pull back the layers of his personality you'll find steel at the base. He's strong and fast and not afraid to defend himself or victims of bullying. The smile will slip off his face faster than you had thought it could, and he'll be ready to do whatever it takes.

History: Joshua grew up with three brothers and quickly learned how to defend himself and to prank back. His parents had high expectations for him, and he managed to climb them, getting good grades and being accepted to BLA.
Joshua always loved gardening. He stuck seeds in the ground, took care of them, and something delicious would spring up. He wants to learn more about plants and help the earth that way. It wasn't a hard decision for him to pick his interest when he was accepted.
