***$Hivi*** I was thinking...if someone can suggest a romance where both characters have language difference making it difficult for them to communicate.

For example:
The Golden Dynasty (Fantasyland, #2) by Kristen Ashley

I just love this book...the time travel and marriage adds to the factor of showing there language difference.

Any suggestions??

I love language barriers too but I can't seem to find any either. I'm sure there'd be some in categories like: alien romances, Tarzan-Jane inspired, barbarian warlord romances etc

Very old book called Restoree has a bit of this, but the MC (human female kidnapped from Earth by aliens) has mostly learned to language of the world where she finds herself after recovering from the mental breakdown she has as a result of the original kidnapping. (How's that for a nice confuse the heck out of you sentence?) Anyway, it's one of the first books that I ever remember reading where there was any suggestion that the H and h wouldn't be able to understand each other right away.

There is a very tiny mention of this trope in the book Babel-17. (The MC is searching for a female mate for 2 of her crew, and finds them a woman who doesn't speak any language that the men do. She says something to the effect that learning to communicate with each other this way will give them all time to understand each other something to that effect. As I said--it's a very tiny part of the story, but it's a good read so thought I'd throw it out there any way. (Warning, this is a sci-fi by one of the greats, so if you don't like sci-fi you might not like it.)
