Devann (devannm) | 111 comments probably the welcome to nightvale book or prince lestat and the realms of atlantis. i also really hated harry potter and the cursed child but at least that was short so i didn't waste a lot of my time lol

Superbambi | 285 comments It's a tie between Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl and Ingar Johnsrud's Wienerbrorskapet, which I wouldn't recommend at all.

Fangirl, I don't know what I was expecting, but I'm not a fan of chick lit to begin with...

The other one was just so full of the detective novel clichés that I'm so through with, and it's the same reason why Philip Kerr's January Window will most likely have been my least favourite of 2017.

That book was basically 44 Charles St by the same author with just different characters in a different location. That was very disappointing.

Ash | 30 comments The Crown (Selection #5) by Kierra Cass was the biggest disappointment from where the Series started from!

Chemistry & Romance are completely void....

also why is the Red Queen bad i heard wonderful things about it

Emily Anna | 2 comments The city of bones. I somehow got through it in hopes that maybe the sequels get better but the next book was worse.

message 169: by AndyS (new)

AndyS Gosh, I focus on the books that are my favorite. I have lots of books I love... I abandon books pretty quickly and never look back.

message 170: by The Book Crusader (last edited Apr 01, 2017 10:13AM) (new)

The Book Crusader (thebookcrusader) Shopaholic books, in this order: 4, 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 (I will not touch the fifth one, because (view spoiler)

After Jackie Collins died, I did not think it would be possible to find a new third least favorite author, because I did not think it would be possible to find an author whose work I could hate as much as I hated Collin's.

But then I found the fourth book in the library's for sale shelves and was proven wrong.

message 172: by Mel (last edited May 13, 2017 04:31PM) (new)

Mel | 8 comments For me, it was a tie between these two: Boring Girls by Sara Taylor The Girls by Emma Cline

I had high expectations because they had intriguing concepts, and wound up incredibly disappointed by how poorly said concepts were executed.

message 173: by K (new)

K (bookish_kayjinx) Galgorithm: So close to DNF'ing, but I was doing a read along so I couldn't just quit.

A history of Glitter and Blood: DNF'd it. It was boring, didn't have any viable plot, the storyline was all over the place (not in a good way), and it just failed to draw me in. It was really poorly written and executed.

Hahaha same, I only read the 7th book, but it was just so silly and frustrating to read about a main character like that, she does not even try and she was so selfish.

Louise | 102 comments I read a few books that i so didnt like but for me its a tie between these two
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #1) by Ransom Riggs Soundless by Richelle Mead
Miss peregrines just didnt appeal to me, i didnt like the characters and found it boring. Maybe i had to high expectations for it, i also wached the movie and found it just as bad..

As for soundless i guess i also had to high expectations as i really like alot of Richelle Meads books. I just found the book extremly slow and disappointing as i liked the idea of it.
