Molly (molly32) | 2 comments This might be obvious, but have you tried any IAD from Kresley Cole or the Guardians series from Setta Jay, which is a lot more on the erotic side, but really fun and actiony as well?

Danielle Book Boss (daniellebookboss) Elder Races by Thea Harrison - love the different mythological creatures and worldbuilding in this series
Psy-Changeling by Nalini Singh - awesome worldbuilding
Guild Hunters by Nalini Singh - this one has some elements that are a little darker like the originals you posted.
The Others by Anne Bishop - One of the best UFs I've ever read

Have you read Angels of the Dark series by Gena Showalter? It's a spin off of LOTU which you listed above. I LOVE books 1 and 3 in this series.

Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep - lots of action, love the world in this series

Niaka (angelmama09) | 4 comments I just finished the newest Darynda Jones book yesterday freaking amazing it has different dimensions soul sucking grim reaper the whole nine..and there's only 1/2 books left in this series Oct is next release.. fantastic series tho

Darynda jones author

Charley Davidson main character

Title is First grave on the right

lorii (Loriidae) The edge series by Ilona Andrews is a considerably easier read than Kate Daniels but the world building is still fabulous. Read this series before the innkeeper as the children that are in the edge series feature as adults in the innkeeper. The first is On the Edge

Lisa | 28 comments I love your question list, especially Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jeaniene Frost, and Ilona Andrews. Based on that, I'd recommend:

●Meljean Brook - Guardian series (Love these warriors. Mostly demons and angels. I don't even know how many times I've reread these.) Demon Angel (The Guardians, #1) by Meljean Brook
●Kresley Cole - Immortals After Dark series (Valkyries and pretty much everything else in the lore.) The Warlord Wants Forever (Immortals After Dark #1) by Kresley Cole
●Alyssa Day - Warriors of Poseidon series (never thought I'd fall in love with Atlanteans, but here we are. PNR/UF. A go to reread for me. Love this immortal world.) Atlantis Rising (Warriors of Poseidon, #1) by Alyssa Day
●Karen Marie Moning - Fever series (though I'd start off with her PNR Highlander series first if you're open to it as characters overlap. UF and Fae.) The Fever Series 7-Book Bundle Darkfever, Bloodfever, Faefever, Dreamfever, Shadowfever, Iced, Burned by Karen Marie Moning The Highlander Series 7-Book Bundle by Karen Marie Moning
●Ilona Andrews - Edge series (Great UF and world building)
●Alexandra Ivy - Guardian series (demons, vamps, werewolves, witches, etc.) When Darkness Comes (Guardians of Eternity, #1) by Alexandra Ivy
●And for my obscure but fun throw in, Sandra Hill's Deadly Angels series (We're talking Viking vampire angels here. I really liked it.) Kiss of Pride (Deadly Angels, #1) by Sandra Hill

!!! I didn’t know that! Now I have to read the Innkeeper because I loved the Edge series.

P.s. I also second the Nalini Singh books mentioned above. I'm just starting on Kelley Armstrong's books, so we'll see. I like what I've read so far.

Jane Jackson (janejackson91) | 3 comments There's one series that seems to be flying beneath most people's radars at the moment, although with rumours of imminent TV adaptation, I am sure that's about to come to an end. So to get in there before the hordes, try a trilogy by Antony J. Stanton. It's not your everyday, run-of-the-mill PNR, and I have to say it's all the better for it. It doesn't treat the reader like a fool and spoon-feed every detail, it treats us more like intellectual equals.

The first in the series is called "Once Bitten, Twice Die".
Then "Once Bitten, Twice Live", and last "Twice Bitten, Twice Die".

I guarantee by the end you'll have a new all-time favourite vampire crush - male and female, (and probably vampire villain too.)

Once Bitten, Twice Die (The Blood of the Infected #1) by Antony J. Stanton
Once Bitten, Twice Die

Enjoy. JJ
