Teresa Cutler-Broyles | 7 comments I need to combine my author pages. I have written books under my name Teresa Cutler before I got married, and my married name Teresa Cutler-Broyles. I can't figure out how to make one author page out of the two, and combine all my books together.
I've tried to add books to either account but I get an error message (duplicate ISBN)
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

monika (lunafreya) | 132 comments First of all, since you are the author I would suggest you to claim your author profile so you would have control over your books. To claim your profile click the link on the bottom of the author page saying "is that you? Let us know". More about the program: https://www.goodreads.com/author/program

Not sure tho if Teresa Cutler-Broyles should be combined with Teresa Cutler or "Teresa Cutler-Broyles" should be added as a secondary author to "Teresa Cutler" books (so they will show on one profile), so hopefully some more experienced librarian would confirm.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments GR policy is to only combine authors in this situation when one of the names completely contains the other. So we can move all the books to Teresa Cutler-Broyles if you want.

Teresa Cutler-Broyles | 7 comments Thank you Monika and Krazykiwi!

Yes, I'd love to have them combined under Teresa Cutler-Broyles.
I'll go claim my author page now under that name.

Teresa Cutler-Broyles | 7 comments Okay, done. Submitted the info for Teresa Cutler-Broyles.
As soon as I'm approved or whatever it is, I'll add in more books in which I have chapters as well.
Thank you!

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments I went ahead and combined the author pages and then combined the books, so it's all nice and tidy and ready for you when the claim comes through.

If the other books are already on GR, just post in this group and we can add you as a contributor.

Teresa Cutler-Broyles | 7 comments Excellent. It looks great.

Another quick question, and then I'll stop for the day. :-)

I have editing credits for a number of books, and have full chapters in a number of academic publications. I'm assuming I can just add those, yes? Credit the author or editor, and then list as also in my list?

Goodreads does not list editors of single-author works as authors. For works where you are a contributor, it depends whether the book is already listed on Goodreads. If so, you'll need to post in this group, link to the book, and request to be added as a contributor. If the book is not yet in the database, you can manually add it yourself.

Teresa Cutler-Broyles | 7 comments Hi All,

Per Rivka's note above, I'd like to be added as contributing author for these two books listed below. My chapter title first, then book title:

"Jumping Rope in Prison" in "Children of Afghanistan"
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

"Local Performance / Global Connection: American Tribal Style® & its Imagined Community" in "Belly Dance Around the World"
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

I added another book of which I am co-author to Goodreads. I'll attempt to add it to my page. Just in case I can't, it is called "Monstrosity from the Inside Out" and the page it seems to be on at the moment is: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Thank you!
Teresa
