I posted something recently, on Monday. I made sure to get notifications for my specific post and not everyone's posts but just to make sure I haven't missed anything I wanted to see my post and look if anyone's replied to or just bump it with another plot detail oh something. However I can't find it and I'm not sure why.

If you go to your profile pic in the top right corner of every page and choose "my comments" from the dropdown you'll see a listing of all your comments.
You can also hover over your avatar on a comment you've made (only useful if you've got another comment to do that with though) and choose "see comment history" from the little popup.
Aerula- I'm assuming that your tip, above ^^^, only works when logged in on a computer? I mainly use goodreads through my phone app, and have no drop-down menu, that you mentioned. I can never find old requests that I've posted, to bump them.

I'm sorry Christine, but I don't use the app at all so I'm not familiar enough with it to suggest where to find the app equivalent but if it helps any here's the link I see (from the desktop) for your comments in the group.

If you have a spot you can save that it might be a workaround, at least until somebody who knows the app can chime in.
I also cannot find my posts and am searching via app. I can’t go back and bookmark my post but will do so from here on if I can figure that out haha

It might be worth it to leave it as a comment on your profile or something similar -if that's something you can do from the app, I'm not sure.

That's a good idea.

 Hi
HiI’m thinking I may have things mixed up, but I thought, ages ago, that Lobstergirl may have posted a similar link to the one you guys are posting for people now that takes them to ‘their comments’... but it was a generic link that when anyone would click on THAT link, it would take them to THEIR page...?
If by chance I’m remembering rightly, would it help to start a thread with that link and PIN it to the top of the thread list?
Cheers
Oh, and I just saw your suggestion to leave it on our profiles somewhere. That’s genius!
Oh, and I just saw your suggestion to leave it on our profiles somewhere. That’s genius! Could I please ask you to find my link (no doubt again) and I will do that?
Do we have to worry about placement? If we were to add it to a public view spot, would anyone be able to click that link, or would it only work for the relevant user?
Is there any sign of amazon upgrading the app from the dinosaur era?

MJ, here's the link to your comments in this group: https://www.goodreads.com/group/185-w...
1) On the full Desktop website, I found this link by hovering the cursor over your avatar image in Message 14 (to the far left). Then I clicked "see comment history" in the small popup that opens.
2) On our group homepage, they've added a "My Group Comments" link in the right column. This works only on the Desktop website.
Do we have to worry about placement? If we were to add it to a public view spot, would anyone be able to click that link, or would it only work for the relevant user?
You'll need to test this with your computer and browser:
- Currently, it looks like you can copy your "comments link" into your Profile page using the "My Web Site" box/field.
- It appears that one's Profile Details, Website, ..., About Me are hidden until a person signs in to Goodreads.
► We strongly encourage group members to set "Who can view my profile?" (under Account Settings > Settings tab) to "Goodreads members" (not "just my friends"). This helps Moderators quickly find threads created by a member. This is critical if you comment a lot in this group. Your profile details will be hidden until a Goodreads member signs in to the website.

I also need help with my posts! I can’t find any of the posts I’ve made in the past and my books haven’t been found. I did discover one so I want to update the post

Full Desktop or Mobile Website (not the App):
- Go to our Group Homepage. Click "My Group Topics" or "My Group Comments" in the right hand column.
Full Desktop or Mobile Website (not the App):
- Click your profile / avatar image in the upper right corner. Then click "Comments" in the menu that opens. (This works well if you haven't posted a lot of comments on Goodreads.)
Mobile App:
- Try emailing (sharing) the link for your request page to yourself.

In addition to these suggestions, you can also start your own private group, and link your requests from there. I have a entries for my own requests (yet to be solved - but that need to be bumped once a month), my solved requests (so I don't have to ask for the same book again), and other people's requests (that I wish to follow/sometimes I bump for other people), as well as threads that I'm maintaining (abbreviations, memorable short stories).

So if I am reading all of these responses properly. I need to request a link so I can also find my comments when using the app?

It's here - we closed it because we close threads where the headers don't contain genre and plot information.

Hi, I know this is an old post but I wanted to check if others can see my post? I included genre and plot in my title but I've been bumping into this error where it just tells me to try again later. I can't tell if it's refused to post or if it posted and got closed, so any updates would be nice! thank you

Looks like it didn't post, since your only comment in the group is the one in this thread.

Hi, I can’t find my posts. I ended up making three posts Because I thought the first and second one didn’t come through or got deleted. I saw them when I posted but then they were gone. It was in the unsolved one book request. I use safari browser on my iPad.
