The story is okay, but I am not crazy about the narrator of the book.

Mary,

I used to like Elizabeth George's LYNLEY & HAVERS series, but somehow after Lynley's wife was killed I lost interest. And then her books became so long and drawn out. I have caught up with a few of the last books she wrote.

I personally love Deborah Crombie's
series. I find I relate to her books better than I do with Elizabeth George's
LYNLEY & HAVERS. I don't dislike LYNLEY & HAVERS, I just find
KINCAID/JAMES more to my liking.
