Any book from the profile, choose edit. If I have a lot of books to move I usually leave that in a tab and cut and paste to make sure I have it right.

The scenario was - book was added to an author profile, but it wasn't her book. I couldn't find the other profile in the same name. I think the real issue was that there was no second author profile and I wasn't sure whether to create a new one with the ^^ double spaces. I left it for someone else to pick up, but I realise later that I should have created a second author with the different format, ahhh next time.
Thank you again.
There is also the 'similar names' link on the edit page of non-GR author profiles. It can be useful when there are several authors with the same name. It shows the spaces for each profile.

Where does one view how a Profile name is formatted?
eg whether it's Mary^Smith or Mary^^Smith
I can see it in the book edit section if it's an Author, but if can't see where to look if the profile has no books allocated to it.
