Yet to read an Aunt Dimity book...do let me know how you both find it.

message 108: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 878 comments Aunt Dmity is a cozy mystery with a little bit of mystery, a little bit of romance and a good story. Remember loving the first one. This one looks entirely different with no reference to the first one. Loving it too at 15%.

message 109: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 878 comments Finished The Namesake. I finished it in bits and pieces due to many distractions in between. But in the end wished I had read it in one straight sitting coz I could fully savour it then. Anyway a 4 star read.

Watership Down at 12 %. Loving Hazel and his friends.

The Illicit Happiness of Other People At page 84. Fantastic read. going to be a 4-5 starrer. Usually dont like stories about dysfunctional families but this one is awesome..

ഇനി ഞാൻ ഉറങ്ങട്ടെ Ini Njan Urangatte As part of my ambition to read a malayalam book along with the others..Just started. Looks promising.

Same rating for Namesake. Same feelings for Illicit. Same ambition for Hindi :)
Adding Watership Down to make it a full circle.

Girish (kaapipaste) | 2837 comments Mod
Illicit Happiness is pretty good. Didn't like Namesake.

And based on my limited malayalam - sounds a good title for a psychological thriller ☺

message 112: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 878 comments Ini njaan urangatte means Now let me sleep. Sorry to dissappoint you Girish but it is Karnas take on the Mahabharatha.

message 113: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 878 comments Gorab Watership down is good.. Not the thrilling sort of good but the Heartwarming sort of good.

Now reading A Case of Need. medical thriller and a fast page turner.

message 118: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 878 comments Finished A Case of Need. 4 stars. Kept me on the edge of my seat for a few days but the end was somewhat mehhhh.

Finished The Room on the Roof Was perfect for my mood . Comforted and soothed me though to be frank all was not happiness in the book. It had its share of grief...Full 5 stars.

FinishedThe Importance of Being Earnest 3 Stars. Was a comedy of errors but was not taken in by any of the characters.

Now reading
The Gene: An Intimate History BR with Gorab and Smi. Going very slow.
Time Stops at Shamli and Other Stories BR with Gorab, Arpit and Sundara. 2 stories in and loving it.
