In this 6th book in the series, Harry Hole and his team are trying to stop a Croatian hitman who's after a Norwegian Salvation Army worker. Lots of action in this thriller. 4 stars

I finished Song of the Lion by Anne Hillerman

In this addtion to the 'Navajo Tribal Mysteries' - being continued by author Anne Hillerman - Bernie and Chee (with help from Joe Leaphorn) investigate a deadly car bombing. Pretty good mystery, but not quite up to Tony Hillerman's standards. 3 stars

I read it as a teen so it's like a whole new read for me this time around. Our mutual friend DMR says it was a snoozefest for him but so far I'm enjoying it. We'll see.

The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter Very good book but her other book from last year IMO was better but still this is a good read

The French Girl by Lexie Elliott Hard to believe this is a debut work of fiction--it is that well done. I am looking forward to reading much more from this excellent writer to come. Highly recommend This to everyone whom love a good mystery book! And I will be reading more fromt his person! I am glad i won it as a giveaway

Watch Me by Jody Gehrman Another book i won as a giveaway It was okay of a book but its not one of my favs I though both Kate and Sam was so damn stupid. If You like stalker books this one for you.

Here's my review. I haven't finished it but I thought I should post my review to give others an idea of what they are getting into. I find that reading it is like watching a car wreck. I just can't look away.

I think that the publisher should put the blurb on the cover where the author says that he believes President Kennedy was shot by a secret service agent. Readers should be warned what they are getting into.

I couldn't stop reading either, even though it was terrible. Larry kept telling me "just put it down" because I was getting so angry I was actually yelling, but I had to finish it.

I just finished reading Murder as a Fine Art by David Morrell. It's a good book to read this time of year. It's a historical thriller that takes place in Victorian London where a copycat serial killer is started brutally murdering people in London the exact same way some murders were done 43 years before that. In WWII, two British flyers get shot down and - by dint of luck and cunning- are able to disguise themselves as Germans in a German mental hospital. They have to endure electroshock and other 'therapies'....and things get dicey. Intense psychological drama....rather graphic. 3 stars
