Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

➜Shelf Announcements: A shelf will be posted every Wednesday on/around 12:30pm Pacific Standard Time (2:30pm Central time); 7:30am Thursday (Australian Eastern Daylight).
HOUSE KEEPING:
1. CHOOSE YOUR FREE SPACE BOOK TODAY. And post it so I can record it now. You can't start the free space book until the mod calls the first shelf, but let's figure out that book now.
2. I would like each team member to check in at least twice a week. That's minimum. Please let us know stuff like "my kids are sick so reading is slow."; "My book is slow and/or sucks"; "I don't have this book, can someone loan it to me?" etc"
Please let us know what's going on.
3. Ask questions if you are unsure, especially when it's one of those Cover color shelf--Red Cover. If you are unsure your book meets the requirements ask me or the mods. I would rather know that then find out AFTER you read a book that it won't work.
4. This is a competition. Let's have fun, but treat it as such. Don't fall behind on your books because catching up is hard.

Hi, I'm Elaine and I live in Missouri...This is my first Bingo and I am very excited! I plan to look at the lists and get some ideas ready but since I am a total mood reader who knows what will actually be read! Sounds like I'm not the only one who does that so I am in good company. If any of you are Bookshelf Bingo veterans and have advice I am happy to hear it!

It seems that no matter how much I plan I still pick something else to read. My sister calls it OLS(oh look shiny) Syndrome!
I have OLS as well, so I don't plan my books out. I have a monthly reading plan based on recommended books from challenges and review books for my blog.So I make them work into this challenge.
The only advice I have is to pick your book as soon as the shelf is called and read it. It sucks to fall behind

I would love for you to captain, Ezi. I agree about choosing and reading your book as soon as possible. I don't like playing catch up.
I'm glad we have some Bookshelf Bingo veterans since this is also my first time playing. And I definitely have OLS as well (I absolutely love that).And it sounds like Ezi is our captain :)

I was just thinking we need a name, but then failed to come up with anything. Hmmm... Nope, I've got nothing. Hopefully someone else can come up with a good one.

I love them all! But, I think The Queens of Noble Turmoil and Ladies of Bitter Midnight are my favorites. I think they both have a nice Game of Thrones vibe going on. I just can't decide which I like more!

All week I was thinking this challenge began today. I was kinda depressed when I realized I needed to wait another week - I'm just so excited to start :DHow do you like Emerald City? I was thinking of starting it.
I watched Emerald City, too. Parts of it I really enjoyed and other parts I wasn't so sure of. I'll watch again to see where the storyline is going.
