I haven't started a book for this shelf. Since someone is going to win this week are we supposed to read a book? I got a little confused by Sandra's comment for us to finish our books. I didn't know if that applied to us or just those that are not caught up.

Either way I had a great time, Ladies. This is the longest round I ever played. Hope to see you next round!

Shelf #20: series to start

This is an early book by Kleypas and it shows. There was no way a woman like the heroine could have gotten away with all the shit she did without being ostracized.

I liked the hero and his devotion to his brother. Although I wasn't crazy about her, I could see why he liked her and why they made such a good couple, even though they seemed so different to begin with.

This book was narrated by Rosalyn Landor and in general, I wasn't too fond of her male voices. They sounded too stuffy for some reason.
