Plot:
• The main character (not sure of gender/age) is trying to bake some sort of roll.
• The character makes several attempts and is disappointed with the results.
• Somewhere along the line, by getting the recipe wrong each time (Too much sugar? Too much egg?), the character inadvertently ends up developing something new—a popover.
• Story involved the development of a popover pan.
• A recipe for popovers might appear in the book.
• The story takes place in a home kitchen.
• The theme of the story is about experimentation and trying again.
