message 67: by Dr. Andy (new)

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Depends if you guys do serious haha. School will be in full swing then so I'll probably stay in medium.

message 68: by Tati (new)

Tati depending on the challenge, I might stay in medium

Dr. Andy | 14480 comments Then there's hope! Haha.

message 70: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Same here :)
Even though i am planning to read as many books as I would have for the serious, it's seems more relaxed here :D

message 71: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Getting back to fantasy since the problem with forever was awful

AGAIN!!!

how is that possible idk, since I always enjoyed JLA's books

message 72: by Tati (new)

Tati I thought that one was pretty standard too, so you're not the only one

message 73: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Tati wrote: "I thought that one was pretty standard too, so you're not the only one"

It was annoying.
for the last couple of books all I can say I mostly hated them because of the main female characters

message 74: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm struggling with the one I'm reading now, but I need it for another challenge, so guess I'll force my way through

description

message 77: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Ilr at least Truthwitch turned out to be a fun read, otherwise it'd have been only the winner's trilogy, btw i am finishing it soon, where should we read the windwitch, we planned it for today right? But I might join you tomorrow :/

message 78: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm currently reading The Vault of Dreamers, I'm nearly halfway through. And, to be honest, I'm nearly calling it quits so I can start Windwitch

Great! So start when you are done, I will do the same when I am done :) BTW do you know if the points are going to be adjusted? Since it's only the two of us :/

message 80: by Tati (new)

Tati I gave it up, and am just starting Windwitch. Of course, I don't remember what happened in Truthwitch...

Can you give me a spoilery summary? LOL

message 81: by Edit~A (last edited Jan 10, 2017 08:32AM) (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I am 50% done (I haven't time today just got to it) so far I can say that Safiya is betrothed to the Emperor, but her uncle arranged her escape, and now everyone thinks she was kidnapped.
Meanwhile she is on a ship with prince Marik, and Iseult is badly hurt, because of her fight against the Aedun the bloodwitch, who is now as I read is going to be recruited to find the kidnaper and Safiya.
I guess they are going to assume Marik did it.
Marik signed contract with her uncle though, so this is all her uncle's doings

message 82: by Karen (new)

Karen Barber | 13281 comments Hi all, Sarah just messaged our team to say we're being disbanded as there's only two of us. Apparently I'm joining you all. Is it too late to jump on the Truthwitch BR if my copy comes soon?

Adding Karen and Iman to your team ☺

message 84: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments Yup! I saw her post on the main thread! You can jump in anytime during this month, as long as it's in January. That's how BR threads work here.

We are reading Windwitch now, but some are still not done with the Truthwitch, and we all discuss both books :)

message 92: by Edit~A (new)

Edit~A (edit-a) | 4259 comments I am liking medium since it's more relaxed

message 93: by Tati (new)

Tati I don't know either... I might be moving houses in February, so it might be best to stick with medium

message 97: by Tati (new)

Tati What?? Have you been living under a rock? (just kidding, just kidding)

it's very good, you should give it a try!

I guess I have lol

What is it about? And is there a romance? and if yes please say without love triangles... :D

message 99: by Tati (new)

Tati Well, if I remember correctly, there is no romance in the first book, and there are hints of romance in the second one. And I don't remember any love triangles.

You should read it, though, because the world building is pretty interesting!! I could re-read them and BR with you!
