Vee heard him laugh. She didn't hear him do that much. Though she does remember the first time she made him laugh was when she criticized the man in the photo Bing unable to get girls. She looks over to Cupid and then back to Emmanuel. "What? It's cute. He's the God of love... Wait no that was someone else. Well you know what I mean. What's the point of having a tunnel of love but no Cupid silly," she nudged playfully him for stupidity. But she really did like the ride. The theme was perfect, and it was relaxing. She made a note to herself to go with someone she likes. Not that she didn't like Emmanuel, because she did, but someone she's likes likes and date. Though she wasn't saying Emmanuel wasn't someone she couldn't like like, because she could and didn't mind.... Before she knew it Vee was thinking of Emmanuel in ways she never did before, so she looked down shyly instead. He didn't even think of her that way... Did he?

"I guess." he said as he smirked and glanced at more thing that floated and hang above them. He sighed and rubbed his head as the boring music made him actually want to get off. But he noticed Vee had grow quit and it got his attention. He glanced over and noticed she was looking down, and he knew from the week that had spent together that meant something was wrong. Or she was thinking of something that she didn't want to say out loud. He poked her shoulder but, she didnt say anything. He sighed softly as he put his hand under her chin and raised her head up to make eye contact with her. "Whats wrong?" he asked.
One thing Vee didn't like was how her thoughts randomly went from one simple thing to something complex. It made her really think about the situation, to the point where she didn't even notice Emmanuel poking her. She was just so consumed by her thoughts. At least not until he lifted her chin to look up to him was she brought back to the moment. She looked into his eyes, wondering if she should tell him what was wrong. But nothing was wrong, not really. Except he asked so she should at least tell him. But she wasn't really going to tell him what exactly she thought, that would be embarrassing. Instead she said, "what do you think about me?" Vee knew in the beginning be hated her and thought she was annoying. Then towards he middle of the week he said she was okay. But what about now? She really liked him as a friend, and even thought of what it would be like if they were probably more than a friend. But that was silly.
Emmanuel was actually expecting her to tell him what was wrong but instead he got a question that he didnt know how to answer. "Umm.." came out as he moved his hand from her chin, he didn't know what he thought about her. It complicated, she was human and that was something that he tried hard to focus on. He sighed before he spoke. "I think your cool, funny and cute girl." he said. He realized what slipped out his mouth was not at all what he was thinking. He sighed and rubbed the back of his head, it wasn't like he could undo what he just said out loud.
So he did think of her in a good way. He thought she was cool and funny, but mostly, he thought she was cute. That surprised her. She smiled shyly, and was actually glad they were on this ride, because the link light on them didn't show that she was blushing. "That means a lot to me." She admits to him. So she wasn't the only one thinking good about the other. But he still probably thought of her as just a friend, and she didn't mind that. She looks away before looking back to him with a grin. "Your not bad looking your self," she teases him now.
Emmanuel nodded to her first words and glanced away, he sighed softly. He didn't know what made him say that but, really wanted it to stop. It wasn't that he thought her in a bad way but, to say that was kinda big for him. He was thinking when he heard her voice once again. He glanced over and smirked. "Thanks." he said as he nudged her back from earlier.
Vee glanced at him when he nudged her. She then faced forward again and watched as they went on through the ride. She enjoyed everything. The small shows. The music. The lights. It was all amazing and she didn't regret this at all. In fact she didn't regret doing this with him.
Manuel watched the shows, they actually took his mind off what he had said. Which was a good thing, even though he still hated the ride. But he was thankful when the ride was over, he waited until the ride had stopped before he got out. He held out his hand for Vee like he did every time they were getting off rides. But this time, it felt different to him. He shook it off once she was out the boat not wanting to think to much on it. After all she was still supposed to be his meal. "So what you wanna do now?" he asked her.
((What time is it with you?))The ride came to an end and Vee wished it would have lasted a little longer. She climbed out of the boat with Emmanuel's help, but didn't let go of his hand even though they were walking now. She looked around then up to him. "Wanna grab something to eat? I'm actually starving." She tells him. She glances at the food trucks that were parked on the grass, each one having different choices. The smell was enough to make her mouth water.
He didn't mind her not letting go of his hand, since they had been holding hands most of the day. "Im not really hungry but, you can grab you something." he said, as he glanced at the food trucks and sighed. The smell of human food was just enough to make him get sick. "Which one you gonna pick?" he asked seeing how there was line at every truck that he saw.
Vee looked at them one by one to see which one was better. As she did so, she said, "y'know for a guy, your barely eat. Or at least when I'm with you you don't eat." Saying this, Vee has spent everyday with him for the past week, and a few hours each day. So she's actually spent a lot of time with him, and she's never seen him eat once. Besides the dinner at her place, and that didn't even count too. She choose one of the closer food trucks and lead him that way. Lucky for them this one didn't have a long line. She then glanced up to him to see what he would say.
"Not a food's person really." he said honestly, as he waited and watched her look around. It didn't take long for her to pick something, at least not to him. He followed Vee as she went to the truck not like he really had a choice she was holding his hand as she walked. As he waited in line with Vee, his phone went off. He sighed as he took it out his pocket, and noticed it was his 'mother' he rolled his eyes. "Hold on, I gotta take this." he said as he took his hand out of her grip quiet easily. He walked off and stopped once he felt like he was a distance away. He sighed and answered the phone.
'What?' he asked, he glanced around as he heard Faith's voice. 'Are you alone?' he rolled his eyes and sighed. He really wanted his convection to be over with. 'Yeahh... Now what is it?' he asked again this time show less kindness. 'Well, Miller wanted me to tell you to do it to night?' she said, leaving confused. Being with Vee and actually enjoying it made him forget what he was a sighed to do. 'Emmanuel?' he heard in his ear. He cleared his voice before he spoke. 'You mean about Vee?' he asked, it was his first time using her name toward Faith. 'The human?... Yes.' she said. 'Alright' he said as he hang up. Not wanting to be on the phone with her longer than he had to.
As he walked back to Vee, he put his phone back in his pocket. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, but once he glanced at Vee. It was like his thoughts and problems were over, he raised an eyebrow at her food. "What you got?" he asked as he looked away from her for a second.
Vee felt like a fat ass when compared to him. She was always eating, and he wasn't. But it was still hard to believe he wasn't a good person. Who wasn't one? Vee was in line waiting when Emmanuel's phone went off. She let go of his phone and watched him walk away. She noticed, like the many times before, how his hand was still cold. Maybe it was a disease? It had to be. It was just weird how cold he was.
By the time Emmanuel was back, Vee had ordered and payed for her food. "I just got a sandwich and Cotten candy" She tells him and starts to walk to the tables they had laid out with him. "Who called?" She asked him curiously and took a bite of her sandwich. She then sat on the bench and set the plate and cotton candy, which was the same color as her hair, down on the table and held her sandwich in her hand.
Emmanuel sighed softly as he nodded once she told him what she had got herself. He followed her to a table and sat down, he ran his hand through his hair, the last thing he thought she would ask him was who called. It slightly shocked him, he glanced up at her before he spoke. "Oh.. ummm.. Faith." he said as he shrugged not really thinking once again. "I mean my mom." he said again quickly before she could speak.
Vee raised an eyebrow in confusion when he said a females name, wondering who this girl was. Was it someone he likes? But those thoughts were pushed away when he said his mother. Weird... Why would he call his mother by her name.Instead, Vee said, "maybe we can go on a few more rides and then watch the fireworks? Their about to have them going in a few. I think we just have two hours left actually." Vee said excitedly at the mention of the fireworks. She looked so happy and eager. "I can't wait for them!" Vee looked up to the darkening sky. Just a little longer. She seemed to act like a child when she was happy about something. She then looked down and took a big bite of her sandwich in hopes of going back to play fast.
He saw the wonder in her eyes and know he brought thought to her brain. Human don't call their parents by their first name, well at least not any that he as seen and in his life time. He seen a lot. But he was thankful that she didn't ask why he did so. "Slow down before you choke.. You ain't gotta rush." Emmanuel said as he noticed how Vee was starting to eat. He break his glance at Vee and looked around at everyone that walked pasted they seemed happy and in love. It was like everyone seemed to be with someone. But not how Emmanuel and Vee where, it was more to the way they held each other's hands and laughed together. Emmanuel sighed and shocked his head, he went back to looking back Vee. "So you wanna do one more ride before fireworks?" he asked as he shrugged his shoulders.
Vee ignored his comment on how fast she was eating. This was nothing, compared to when she's alone. She just wiped at her lips and after swallowing and said, "sounds like a plan." She took another bite of her sandwich. I wonder he he's not hungry... He probably ate something before coming. Vee thought to herself. But she tried not to think about it too much. It wasn't her problem.
"So what ride, you got in my mind?" he asked. Emmanuel leaned back in the chair, maybe a little to hard. The chair laid back farther than he actually thought it would but as he was falling. "Sh.." Escaped his lips as he felt himself falling. He reached his hand on the ground pushed himself back in second. He sighed softly not thinking about the action he just made. But when he looked up the look on a girl face that was standing there waiting in line, he know he did something weird again. At least in their eyes but he didn't use anything special. So he didn't really care, shrugged and glanced over at Vee again.
As Vee ate, she looked around to see what rides there was left for them to go on before the fire works started. But her attention was brought back to him when she heard him speak. She gasped, choking a little like he said before, as she watched him fall back. But just as he went down, he came back up. Her eyebrows drew closer in confusion. How did he do that? She was surprised. She knew he was strong, telling by when she seen his upper body at his place and how he picked up the wolf and saved her. But doing what he did, he needed some skills. Maybe there was things she didn't know about him. "How'd you do that?" She asked curious and interested before continuing to eat.
He leaned on the table, even though he wasn't lookin guy at her anymore. He could still feel her eyes on him, he sighed and glanced up as he heard her question. "What?" trying to play stupid. "Oh.. You meant that?" he asked as he slightly pointed to the ground. He rubbed the back of his head, trying to think of something. "When I was young.. I sent to different place and classes. So I just picked up a few things." he shrugged.
"It's so cool." She admits. She laughs to herself before adding, "If I fell backwards I'd crash and not be able to get up." She could even see how that would happen in her head. Vee took one last bite of her sandwich before finishing it. She wiped at her hands and mouth before finishing off her drink too. "Alright c'mon." She said and started to get up. She grabbed her garbage, and her cotton candy, before moving to the nearby garbage to toss out her garbage. She then faced Manny with her cotton candy in her hands. "So Which ride do you want to go on?" She asked him as she pulled a pink puff from the cotton candy and into her mouth, closing her eyes for just a second as she savored the taste before it melted. She then opens them and looked around, noticing all the small set ups they were passing by. There were many games they had set up. The water gun. The balloons and darts. Bottles and rings. The test your strength one. Not to mention the cute prizes they had too.
((U disappeared on me again -.- ))
"We can do whatever." he said as he noticed her looking around. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. He glanced back at her and noticed how her eyes shined with happiness. "Why don't we play one of this mini games." he said as he pull a small pink puff from her cotton candy. He poped it in his mouth but only seconds after he spit it out. He shook his head. "Eww..." he said.
Vee smiled when he said they could play one of the games. But when she was going to say something, she noticed him to take some of her cotton candy. "Hey!" She said playfully. But right after she did he spit it out with a look of disgust. She bursted out laughing. "That's what you get for steeling." She sticks out her tongue. But she quits down after a few second and said, "how could you not like cotton candy? It's so good" she tells him. She really didn't care about sharing. But she was surprised he found it nasty.
Emmanuel really didn't even know why he try it, he was bored and at the moment it was the only to do and he quickly regretted it. He shook his head once again. "Yeah after that, trust I won't ever take anything else from you again." he said as he ran his hand through his hair and back into his pocket. He could still taste the sweet taste but it wasn't sweet and mouth watering, like blood. It was sweet and sour, it made him want to puke. But he held it down. "It's just.. Nasty. It's not for me." he said as he shrugged his shoulders once again.
She softly laughed as he assured her he wouldn't be taking her food. She took a piece of her cotton candy and ate some. "I really don't care if you eat with me." She admits. She didn't care about sharing. She then went back to watching the mini games around them. "So you still want to play one? Just a heads up though, I suck at them. My aiming is off in.... Well everything really." She giggled as she said the truth. "And I'm not strong." She adds.
((They could play one mini game and then we can have them go on the Ferris wheel just in time for the fire works))
-Sure "I can kinda tell that by how you like." he said with a slight smirk. It wasn't like Vee looked like a tough girl, she really was like a annoying but for some reason adorable puppy. He chuckled at his thought and shook his head. "But, yeah we can play a game I guess." he said as he went to glancing around at the games thinking of a game that looked at least kinda of interesting.
Vee acted offended, but she just laughed again. She got that a lot. She starts to look around with him, eating her cotton candy as she did. "Do you what to play the darts and balloons? Bottles and rings? Water gun? The strength the test?" She gave him the choices, since he was a bit picky, and she sucked at everything.
Emmanuel shrugged. He didn't care what but he knew Vee and she was gonna have pick something even if he says he doesn't. He sighed and glanced just pointed he first game that his eyes looked at. "That one." he said pointing to the strength tester. He glanced back at her and raised his eyebrow. "How about that little cotton candy?" he asked, seeing if she agreed.
Vee looks over to where he was pointing at. An eyebrow raised at the sight of the game that had light bulbs going up its side indicting to how high you could get the "ball." She looked back to him. He knew she had no chance at that. But it seemed like he wanted to show off. She smirked, both at that thought and the fact that he called her little cotton candy. "Is that what you going to call me?" She asked him with an amused tone. It did make sense, since she was small compared to him and her hair was pink like the cotton candy. "Let's see what you got then" she agreed.
He shrugged, he didn't think to much on the name. He just said it but her asking about it made him think more on it and he smirked and nodded. "Sure, fits you perfectly." he said. He sighed as he heard her next words and shook his head, he didn't want to do it now. Knowing that he wasnt the best at holding back his strength like Faith was, he sighed once as he started walking toward it. "Can I get a swing at this?" he asked the man that stood beside it. The man, raised his eyebrow. Emmanuel knew he didn't look as strong as he actually was which kinda rose problems in the past. "Sure kid." the man said shrugging his shoulders, Emmanuel took the wooden hammer in his hand and throw it over his shoulder. He tried not to go to over board. As he swung the hammer and quickly the ball it the bell at the top and went back down. "Mm.. You the first one to win today, lucky kid." the man said, Emmanuel nodded. "What will the prizes?" he asked, Emmanuel shrugged putting his hands back in his pockets and glancing back at Vee. "What you want?" he asked. The man's eyes went from Emmanuel to her, waiting for her answer.
Vee didn't mind the new name he has for her. She thought it was cute that he gave her it. Was that weird? Maybe she could give him one. She followed him to the game. She looked over the game than over Emmanuel. The only time Vee saw Emmanuel do anything physical was when he saved her from the wolf, and he had picked it up and threw it then. She wondered if it was the adrenaline at the moment, or if he was strong. He didn't look that strong in appearance. But she just waited to see. She believed in him, and when he swung the hammer, she smiled. The ball went to the bell, and the lights went off. She looked at him happily then to the man that spoke. He looked surprised too. She looks over the prizes when she was told to pick one, and said, "I'll take the black teddy bear." She thanked the man when he handed it to bed before turning back to Manny with it in her arms. "Thanks." She tells him too. "I'm going to call to Manny," she smirks to him and starts to walk with him again.
Emmanuel smirked when he noticed that she seemed happy with the bear in her arms. "Of course you will call it that..." he said with a chuckle. He was getting use the nickname once again, even though it reminded him of Rebecca. It was now starting not be so bad. Before he didn't want to feel anything but Vee was make that impossible, even if it was announce, angry or even saddnes. She was making him feel everything in the rainbow and it was the same thing that Rebecca could do to him. -oh I know this was not what was in your plot but what if like after they start loving and caring about each other, and Vee found what Emmanuel is that they also find out that Vee is a desensit of Rebecca or Rebecca herself coming back? But like don't remember at first or something.. It just came to me...
Vee just smiled at what he said. She wrapped one arm around the bears neck and and went back to finish off her cotton candy. Taking the last bite, she tosses the stick into a near by garbage can. She then uses her free hand to grab his again, like she did all day today. "C'mon! I still want to go on the Farris wheel before he fireworks go off." She tells him and starts to lead them to where the ride was. Lucky for hem, the line wasn't long too. It seems like some people were staying on ground since the fireworks were about to start. I hope we can still go on this ride.((That's actually seems like a good idea. We can talk more about it later if u want. It's be so cute))
- Yayy I thought you might not like the idea, and sure we can talk about it later. I think would tie everything together perfectly. Emmanuel wasn't to surprised when she grabbed his hand once again and started leaning him to the ride she wanted to ride. He noticed everyone was waiting for the fireworks. He could see the worry on her eyes. "Dobt worry, I'm sure we won't miss it." he said as he slightly poked her forehead and softly pulled her arm to get the ride. "Come on.." he added as the line started moving quickly.
Vee looked away from the ride and to him when he assured her about not missing the fireworks. She smiled shyly when he poked her forehead before caging forward to follow him now that the ride started to move. With a few minutes, the two were sitting next to each other in their own seat. The were locked in before the ride started to move. "I always have to go on a Ferris wheel when I go to carnivals. It just make my whole day. Being all the way up and seeing the view." She tells him. She had the teddy bear in her lap, hugging it to her. Now that they were moving higher up, she started to feel a bit cold, especially with the lace strapless shirt she had on.
((No it's good. In fact it gave me another idea. Lol I'm just trying to think of things to bring more drama. Just make see u remind me just in case I forget))
- Sure I will. Welp that's If I don't forget myself loll. Emmanuel watched as the ride started to move, he glanced up at the stars. He smirked and nodded before he spoke. "Your right.. The view is actually quite nice." he said, he glanced over at Vee. She looked adorable holding the teddy in her arms, he noticed that she was getting cold. "Here." he simply said as he took off his hoodie and helped her put it on. Without having her drop the teddy bear. He took his mask out of the pocket and held it in his hand. "Better?" he asked, already knowing the answer from how she looked.
Vee looked over the view with him once they reached the top. She was glad he agreed with her. But how could anyone not? As they started to go down again, she noticed him start to move. She smiled, a little surprised that he was offering her his hoodie. With his help, she put it on. She made sure to be careful so her teddy bear wouldn't fall out. Finally after his hoodie was on her and she was all warmed up, she tilted her head to look at him. "Thanks, it very sweet of you." Her gaze was turn away when the ride came to a sudden halt on their second round, leaving them in place at the top. She looked around worriedly, wondering what happened.
"No problem.." he said, as shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't like he could help in may other way since one touch from him would make her colder than she was. He sighed and enjoined the ride. But soon just like Vee was alert once the ride came to a stop, when they for the top. He sighed with announces, and glanced down. He saw that it looked like their was a problem with the controls. "I think we are stuck." he said as he glanced over at Vee for a moment before he looked back down at the man at the controls who was looking between him and another guy that seemed to be trying to fix the ride.
Vees eyes widened at what Emmanuel told her. "Where stuck?" She said in disbelief. She moved with him to pear over the edge and look down. Even though she didn't have great vision like him, she was able to spot two men down at the controls. But she couldn't make out what exactly was going down there. "They've got to be kidding me. Now? Of all time." She groans in leans back next to him. All this rush to get onto this ride and out before the fireworks started and this happens. She was really disappointed. She wanted to be able to find a nice place after this ride on the ground to watch the fireworks. She looks back out again, looking from the stars in the sky to the couples on the ground holding each other and waiting for the fireworks. She had to admit though, at least they were stuck at the top of the ride, because they had an amazing view of everything. Just as she thought about the view, a string of light shut up into the sky right before them. Just like that, the fireworks show started. Vees eyes light up as she became mesmerized. "Wow..." she breathed.
Emmanuel was about to speak about a way to try to get down but soon the fireworks show started he smirked as he couldn't help but to amit that it was a great view. He sighed as he watched every firework.. "Pretty cool." he said softly, he glanced over and noticed Vee's face. Didn't understand why she seemed so special but, it was times like this that he always realized how gorgeous she was.
Vee heard his comment on the fireworks. It took her a moment to tear her gaze away from them to look at Emmanuel. But when she did, she froze. The way he looked at her, he's never looked at her like that before. At least not when she was looking. She looked away shyly for a moment, checking out the couples on the floor, before she looked back up to him. She noticed how lucky she was she to be up here. The view was amazing, but she also noticed how lucky she was to have Emmanuel. He was different than any other guy she had been with, that was for sure, and she liked it. In fact.... She liked him. Vee but her lip for a moment as a thought came into her head. Without waiting, so she doesn't change her mind, Vee turned around so she was facing him again and leaned in to kiss him.
He thinking about kissing her but he was trying to talk himself out of it and it was kinda working. But before he was able to turn away, Vee's lips were locked to his. He felt her warmth through his lips, and he didn't want to pull away. Instead he did the opposite, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer. His grip on her waist tighten the more they kissed.
There was a part of her that thought he was going to pull away since he was one to hate doing this or expressing anything. But he did the exact opposite, and she felt over field with happiness because that meant he really didn't hate her. And maybe, maybe, that he probably felt the same way about her. But she wasn't thinking about that too much, instead she was just enjoying the moment. It was funny, because it reminded her of a scene in the movie where someone kisses the person they like and fireworks go off, just they were doing now. But she could care less about the fireworks now. She just kissed him back the way he kissed her. Her hands move to rest on his chest to hold herself when he pulls her body against his. She was getting lost in his lips, which were cold but she assumed that it was because it was a cold night.
Emmanuel stopped thinking for a moment. His mind stayed on how lips felt against his, he didn't want to let her go. Even though she was a human, but he had fall for a human before so what made him not being able to fall for another. Emmanuel kept his arm around her body, her warmth mixed his coldness. The feeling so he was give him was almost the same falling he felt with Rebecca. The sound of metal cricking stop the moment, he pulled away and glanced down it didn't look like anything was going good down at the controls. He sighed as he thought that they would be in the top of the ride for longer than he thought. His mind got for track but having his arm around Vee made him remember. He glanced back at her with a smile. He kissed her forehead. "We should be alright..." he said softly.
