"I'm the wrong person for that question... I don't hang around the town." he said, he only know one place that was good. It was his spot in the woods that was on the top of the hill that everyone in town that was hunted. But he found it actually perfect for him. Since no one went up there and his so called parents know nothing about it. It was quite plus he had to admit that it had a great view of the town. But he wasn't about to tell Vee, she was just a stupid human that he was stuck doing a project with. He learned a long time ago that you couldn't trust humans. He sighed as he continued driving. "Maybe, you should ask one of your friends at the school." he said as he glanced over at as she eat. He couldn't help but to make a face has he watched take a bite of her food. He tried eating human food once he was changed and didn't taste the way he had remembered it. He went back to driving heading to Vee's house.
Vee would have pouted, but she was busy eating. She wiped at her lip just incase she had anything on it before speaking once she swallowed. "I would... But I don't have any friends yet." She admits. She's been at school for two days already, but during those days no one really approached her. She didn't know why. It wasn't like she was rude or anything. Though no one treated her badly when she asked for something, they didn't bother trying to befriend her. She didn't know that people looked at her in a weird way whenever she spoke to Emmanuel in the hallway, that could possibly be the reason no one has spoken to her yet. She looked up from her lap to him, and with a small smile she adds, "In fact your the only one closest to a friend to me." Maybe that was a bad thing to some people, but to her she didn't mind it at all.
Emmanuel couldn't help but to look over at her when she poke those words. "Well... I think we're far from friends." he said as he put his eyes back on the road. "But, your not as annoying as the others soo.. your okay.. I guess" he added. Not looking back at her a second time. He knew what he said and kinda of meant it, if he had spent as much time with any other human. He most likely would have spinned and ended up killing them on the first day but she some how she was different in away. He sighed softly to himself. He kept driving until they were at her house once again. He parked the car and his eyes glanced down at his book on his lap. He was different from back in those times, he shook his head as he thought of the way. He use to be, he trusted people even humans but now he didn't trust anything but himself. He glanced over at Vee. "Maybe tomorrow you should try and make a real friend.. So you can talk about your hum- girly stuff with her. Or whoever." he said.
Even if he didn't think they were friends, Vee still thought they were. Not best friends, but someone she could ask without thinking she sounds weird. Her smile grew even more when he admits about how he didn't find her annoying anymore. A flash back to when they were in his room came back to her and he had told his mother she was annoying. Now she was okay. With him, that seemed like a big difference. She didn't say anything afterwards. She didn't want to ruin the mood. Instead, she just ate. A few minutes later they were at her place. She had some left overs so she kept them in the bag, planing to finish them later. She wiped at her lips and hands with the napkin, cleaning up after herself and making sure there wasn't anything in his car that he wouldn't like. She looked over to him when he suggested that she could make a friend tomorrow. She ignored his mistake, which she realized it almost sounded like that last one he made. Instead she just softly laughed and said, "But I planed on talking to you about girly things." She whined teasingly. "Don't worry, I'm just playing with you. But I'll try." She then opened the door and stepped out, grabbing her school bag and drink. "Goodnight Manny." She said to him with a sweet smile, not thinking she had done some thing wrong when she used a nickname. She closed the door after her and walked to the front door.
He raised his eyebrow at the nickname. Manny ringed in his ear, he sighed and drove off. It was a nickname he knew a little to well. "Manny, come.. Look at this view.. This is the best part of living in a castle. The view is just so beautiful.. Don't you agree." Saud Rebecca as she turned around and looked back at Emmanuel, who didn't want to be on the top of a tower. He sighed and shook his head with a smile. "You think this beautiful?" he asked as he finally looked the direction she had glanced in. She rolled her eyes at his sigh and looked back at the view. "Why yess, it gorgeous." she answered, Emmanuel chuckled at her words. "Well you really don't know what gorgeous really looks like." he said as he stood behind her. "Pft and you would Mr. Pouty." she said with a smile, he nodded as he glanced from the sight down to her. "I'm lucky enough to see it everyday." he said.
He shook his head as he founded himself walking in the woods. He had his book in his hand, he sighed as he continued walking. He hated thinking back and that name really did it. He kept walking until he was at the hill. It had the best view of the town. He sat down on the bench, he placed the book down on his lap. He leaned on the book with his elbows as his face laid his hands. "After, all this time.. Why now do you gotta start thinking about her.. She's.... gone get that through your head." he said to himself. He knew tonight was gonna be a long night.
((I feel so bad for him. So time skip? Any ideas for what could happen the next day?))
-Loll, that mean doing good.. Ayyyee. And yeah sure, time skip is fine. And as for what happens next maybe she follows him when he skips another time to see where he going or maybe she starts to put two and two together and wants him to answer some stuff and she follows him, I guess. Loll if that makes sense.
((Ik right!! But yah I get what ur saying. Idk about the questions though. What if, she does what he tells her, which is to make a female friend. But that goes down hill, and so when he skips, she decides to go with him?))

Vee stood at her locker. She had dressed up in a pink tank top that had a strings tied at her breast, white leggings, a blue button up that was tied around her waist, and white sneakers. Her pink hair was straightened today, making it seem very long. But despite how good she felt about her outfit, she was in a bad mood. Not angry, but disappointed. She had taken up Emmanuel's advice about making friends, but that hadn't turned out like she wanted. She took out a few books from her locker and switched them with the ones she had. What did I do wrong? I was kind! I thought she would love to be friends with me. She looked nice. But she looked at me as if I had horns on my head. I'm sure she lied about having something to do. Vee thought to herself about when she spoke to Emily this morning just before class started. Why did she even go talk to the other girl? I knew she was talking about me. Her friend looked at me in a weird way too. What did she tell her? Vee sighs. Because of that Vee didn't even pay attention in class. In fact, she didn't think she would be able to be pay attention at all today. All she wanted to do now was go home.
Emmanuel was quite through the class. He didn't go home at all last night until the sun came up but that was to only change his clothes. He sighed as he got up once the bell rang, he walked out the classroom. He glanced down the hallway to his second classes. He couldn't be around humans at least not right now. He turned around started walking heading to the front door. His hat was slightly covering get his face. He needed to go into the woods, to be alone and try to get her of his mind even if it was just for a day. It wasn't like he didn't miss her, he missed her so much was the real problem. Even though he didn't have heart anyone. It had broke when he losted her. Emmanuel shook his head as his mind started going back into the pasted. He was almost of the school just a Iittle more. He was so focused on leaving he didn't even noticed Vee at her locker.
Vee sighs and shuts her locker. Today was going to be a long day. Turning around, Vee noticed Emmanuel walking towards the double doors. Since his head was down and his hat covered his eyes, she wouldn't have known it was him. But seeing his tattoos was what gave her the clue. Isn't his class the other way... He's skipping! For some reason that gave her an idea. Looking around to see the hallways starting to clear up, she quickly jogged up to him. "Hey! Emmanuel, wait up." She said to him. She came up to his side and finally slowed down. She looks up to him, a small smile in her lips. "You mind if I joined you today? I really don't want be here." She takes the risk and asks. But in her voice she sounded desperate. She knew their was a chance that he probably wouldn't let her join. But she hopefully he'll see that she didn't want to be here as much as he did.
He heard her voice and sighed softly as he glanced back a moment to see that she was coming to his side. Before he could ask what she wanted, she already asking her question. He glanced up at ready to tell her no but he could see that she seemed down just like he was. "Alright, Vee..." he said, he opened the door wide for her to go through first. He didn't even glanced back behind him. He walked out the door and sighed softly. He wanted to go to the hill but, as he glanced over at Vee. He wasn't sure if it was a good idea to let her come with him. "Look if you coming with me.. You gotta make sure you keep you mouth closes about where I'm going.. I don't want no one going there." he said fixing his hat so people could at least see part of his face.
Vee smiled, a bit happier. She was surprised to that he agreed, but at the same time she excepted good from him. "Thanks." She tells him and then follows him out, not bothering to see if anyone was watching them. Him allowing her to come meant a lot to her. She started to walk with him towards his car when he started to speak. She looked up to him. Where was this place that he didn't want anyone to know? "I won't. I promise." She assures him. Besides, it wasn't like anyone wanted to talk to her in order for her to tell anyone. "Remember, you can trust me." She reminds him the same words she said to him the first day when he gave her the book, which she had returned to him as if she had never opened it.
In all honesty, Vee felt like she trusted him more than anyone in this school. Their seemed to be an unspoken secret about why no one speaks to her, something the school knew and she didn't. Emmanuel on the other hand didn't hide anything from her, well nothing she knew yet. He says what's on his mind, even if it's hurtful.
"Remember I don't trust anyone..." he said. He glanced at his car but didn't unlock it or nothing. He just walked passed it and continued walking. "If you coming with me, den you minds well get ready to walk." he said as he glanced back at her. Than up at the sky, the sun was out and there was no cloud in sight at least not yet. So a perfect time to walk into the woods. He didn't ask if she still wanted to come figuring if she didn't wanna wall she would just go back to the school. He continued walking, to him the walk wasn't long. But he was human so, he didn't know how she felt. He didn't even bother to look back.
Vee didn't say anything back to him. She didn't know why he couldn't trust anyone but he'll see one day that he could trust her. Vee followed him, but then they passed his car? She raised an eyebrow in confusion. Did he not see it? She thought. He kept on walking, past all the cars, and she figured they were walking. She didn't mind walking, it was actually a nice day. No wind or clouds, just the sun. It made her not think about today as she trailed at his side. Vee didn't say anything else to him on their walk, taking the time to relax.
Emmanuel sighed as he walked, they were sound walking on a path through the woods. He glanced back at Vee, he was slightly shocked that she was behind him. She said actually followed him. He still didn't say anything, he looked back in front of him and kept walking. He heard a growl and glanced over in the direction, he stopped walking for a moment. He sighed before he spoke. "Not right now.. I will feed you later." he spoke, knowing to was one of the wolves that feed off the bodies, him and his coven left in the woods. The growl grow louder, the wolf stepped out the darkness. It stared at Vee, with nothing but hunger on its mind. As it started walking closer, Emmanuel walked between the wolf and Vee. He bowed his fist. "Don't even try it.." he said in a more serious tone this time, the wolf whimpered and lowered his head before he ran off back into the woods.
Emmanuel shook his head at the sight the wolf leaving. "You alright..?" he asked as he looked back at Vee for a moment, he glanced at her up and down not seeing anything wrong. So before she even answered him, he had already started walking again. After that it wasn't long before they were at the top of the hill. Emmanuel sighed softly. "This the place.." he said as he went and saw on the bench in the same position like he did last night. With his elbows in his lap and his head in his hands. The view was beautiful but he didn't care about it at least not at the moment.
Lost in her thoughts, Vee didn't notice when Emmanuel had looked over at her. But she did notice the growl from within the woods. She swallowed in fear and looked around. Her eyes went back to Emmanuel when he spoke, as if he knew what the sound was coming from and why. Feed? Vee, unlike him, was filled with fear. How could he be so calm? She noticed movements from within the darkness, and when she looked she found a wolf come out. Her heartbeat picked up at the sight of the animal. It's growl made her want to tremble, and the look in his eyes scared her even more. Oh god, she thought frighteningly. Just as the wolf stepped closer to her, Emmanuel came to stand in front of her, blocking the wolfs view of her. She heard his words, ordering the wolf, and thankfully the wolf left.
She looked up to Emmanuel once he looked down to her to ask if she was okay. But from fear of what just happened, she didn't speak. She just stared at where the wolf had once been for a few seconds before looking at him, lips parted in shock. He turned away before she could even answer though.
How protected me? But why would he need to feed a wolf? She started to think. She followed after him, staying as close as she could to him. She knew he seemed different from the students at her school. Rude, alone, and had the bad boy type of theme. But feeding wolfs? Like it was normal. Not to mention how the wolf seemed to obey him. It made her think more about Emmanuel. Actually, it made her wonder why he was leading them into the woods. What could he possibly want here?
Vee's heart best was taking its time to calm down, she was still shaken at what happened, and her thoughts weren't helping. But finally, after all the walking, they reached their destination. Vee's eyes slightly widened at the view from this hill. Her fear finally disappeared she she went to join him on the bench. "The view is beautiful..." She breathed as she looked at it.
Emmanuel eyes widened, he lifted up his head and glanced over at her. He couldn't help but stare. Those words ringed in his ears. "No.. no not again." he said as he quickly got on his feet, he started taking a few steps back away from the bench. "Why you do gotta keep talking like her!? he said his fist balled up, he didn't wanna feel anything but every time Vee talked or sounded like Rebecca. It made him relive the pain he felt when he first lost her. He sighed he turned his back. "I don't suppose to feel this.. I'm supposed to be cold hearted." he whispered to himself as he walked closer to the edge of the hill. He knew could be angery at Vee but, he just wanted to stop feeling anything.
What came out of Emmanuel's mouth wasn't what she expected. She thought he would agree, rather than say no. Not again? She watched him in confusion as he rose and stepped away from her, as if she said something horribly wrong. "Her?" She asked in confusion. She watched him, seeing how angry he got by the second, and it kinda scared her. She stood up slowly and took a step forward. But he turned away, saying how he should be cold hearted. "What are you talking about Manny?" She asked him and stepped closer again, even if he wasn't facing her. She didn't understand why he thought he shouldn't feel. In fact, she didn't understand at all about what he was saying. She just commented on her view, and all of a sudden he was yelling at her.
"Just stop... Why you can't be like everyone else and want nothing to do with me?.." he said he could hear her footsteps coming closer but that was the last thing he wanted from her right now. "Vee just stop.." he said finally speaking calmly. "You don't know a thing about me.. You should be like the others and just not bother looking at me." he added, his eyes went to the ground. He wasn't use to feeling so many things at once. Anger, sadness, depression.. It was like everything was hitting him at once and didn't know how to deal with it all at once.
Vee stopped moving and just stared at his back. Why was he saying all of this? "I don't get it... All I've don't was be nice with you. I know I don't know much about you. I tried changing that. But you always think I'm annoying." She knew since the start that he didn't like her. But she thought maybe if she showed him how she really is he would warm up to her. She even thought he did, when he said she wasn't annoying in the car, that she was okay. Yet here he was telling her to ignore him. What was wrong with him?"I took your advice today y'know." She tells him. "Making a new friend, like you said. But it didn't work out. They looked at me like I was about to do something. They spoke about me after they left, saying something about me. But I don't know what. A lot of people talk about me. Your the only one I could speak to without feeling like your hiding something." Vee explains. "I get it you don't want to talk to me and that you find me annoying. So... So I'll just leave." She bit her lip. "I'll ignore you like you want me to." With that Vee turned around and started to head away from him and the bench. And I thought being with him would help me after what happened.
She actually took his advice? He couldn't help but to hear those words. He sighed to himself softly, as he heard her feet going away from him. He couldn't help but to look back at her, he could hear the sadness in her voice. He shook his head as he thought about apologizing. He knew it wasn't her fault he couldn't be around someone that reminded him if Rebecca. She was in the past and he wanted her to stay there. He looked back in front of him. "That's for the best, you don't need to be around me.." he said glanced over at her to make sure, she wasn't looking before jumped off the cliff. He hit the ground below on his feet but his weight was heavier than a humans. So there was aloud thud but he walked away fine. He sighed as he glanced up at the hill before dashing off deeper into the woods.

((That's a good idea. I was actually thinking about it. As she leaves? Or are u thinking of another day, like she goes there to relax since she likes it and he happens to be there when she's attacked, giving them a reason to talk again?))Vee kept walking, even if there was a small voice in her heard that was telling her not to. If he didn't want her here, then she won't be here.
Vee heard his words, and as much as she wanted to look at him and tell him that he was wrong, she didn't. Except she heard movement and a loud thud. She glanced back, and he was gone. Worry enveloped her, but she pushed it away. She just forced herself to keep going. He could jump off a the damn hill if he wanted too, she shouldn't like he said.
-I was thinking now but, it could another day. Emmanuel stayed in the woods, it was where he was move relaxed and felt like he could be himself. He sighed, as he rushed through the trees and jumped over the brushes. He didn't get it, what was it about Vee that couldn't have just Saud no about the project. Than he would be going through this, they wouldn't have talked or anything.

Vee stomped down the hill before heading past the trees. All she thought about was how Emmanuel yelled at her. Why does he want to be cold hearted so bad? Doesn't he see that I'm just trying to be friendly? And who is she? Who was the girl he was comparing me too? How do I talk like her? Vee thought to herself, and continued to think like that. She tried to figure out what was going on, and what was making Emmanuel not want to be with her at all. Screw him. I'll just finish the damn project by myself today and we'll never have to speak again. Vee kicked at a rock before her a bit angrily and watched it bounce behind a tree. Vee walked down the way she figured she and Emmanuel had came from, or at least she was hoping so. But really, she didn't know where she was going. Every tree looked the same, and no matter where she looked, she saw trees after trees. Great! Vee thought miserably. First she fails at making a friend, then she decides to skip- which she starts to think is a bad idea now- and then she gets in an argument with Emmanuel, and now she's lost! She groaned in annoyance.
In response, there was a growl. Vee stopped dead in her tracks. She looked around, fear flowing through her veins. From all that has happened on the hill, Vee forget about the threat in the woods from earlier. Oh god no. Please no. Vee started to panic, her heart beating rapidly against her ribcage. Just then her eyes fell on the wolf from earlier. She took a step back, and another, hoping the wolf would let her go. But it growled again and moved forward, the same hungry look in its eyes from before. Before she knew it, the wolf leaped at her and Vee screamed in fear as she tried to turn around and run, but it landed on her back and knocked her to the floor.
Emmanuel was still deep in the woods. It was quite and some how peaceful, he sighed softly trying to calm himself down. But he soon heard a scream, he glanced in the direction. It was Vee, he could tell and it coming from the wolf territory. Without second thinking, his body was okay the move. He dashed pasted the trees not letting anything get in his way. He didn't stop until he was behind the wolf. Which with his speed only took a few seconds. He knew that her scream did everything but help the situation, he knew how long he had before the others came. He sighed before clicked his tongue, the wolf's ears moved to the sound of it and its head followed. It growled not wanting to listen, yes Emmanuel feed it and it's pack but at the end of the day it was still a wild animal. And Emmanuel knew that, he sighed as he walked closer. The wolf tensed up and his growl got louder but Emmanuel showed no emotion to it. Once the wolf turned his glanced back down at Vee, is when he made his move. Emmanuel grabbed onto the wolf and throw him, it flow to a tree. It whimpered to the pain it felt from its spin hitting the tree. Emmanuel didn't glance down at Vee at least not yet, he just stood into of her. In a protective pose, he sighed as he could hear the others coming. If it was him by himself, he could get away without fighting them. But he wasn't he was with Vee, and he couldn't let her find out what he was. He sighed as watched the wold get back on his fours. "Damn... You really got yourself into a situation, Vee.." he said as he finally glanced back at Vee still on the ground.
Pain throbbed in Vee's head. Her vision blurred for a moment, and her temple felt someone warm trickle. But that wasn't her concern. Her concern was the wolf that was about to attack her. I'm going to die, she thought. But within a few seconds, Vee heard another sound, and the wolfs attention wasn't on her anymore, telling by how he wasn't attacking her yet. She moved to sit up from the floor, but she felt a bit dizzy. Looking down, vision still a bit blurry, she noticed a rock that was the size of her palm, and on it was her blood. Her hand moved to her forehead and when she pulled away it was covered with red liquid. Then she heard a loud thud, and when she looked up she found Emmanuel with her, and the and wolf thrown against a tree. He came to save me? Like earlier, he stood before her protectively. But she could barely focus. Her head swayed and she felt her blood run down the side of her head, dripping onto her tank top. Her hand held herself up from the floor, still laying a bit, while her other held her head, as if that would help with the pain. She looked to see the wolf back up, ready to fight. As strong as he was when he threw that wolf, which surprised her, all she could think about was that they were going to get killed. She looked at him when he spoke and looked down to her. But for some reason she saw two of him. She didn't even get to hear him right. But her name wrong in her eyes. "My head..." She said before she lost conscious and fell back to the floor.
"Really.." he said as he watched her pass out, he sighed as he focused back on the wolf for a moment before the sound of wolves coming. He sighed and glanced back at Vee once again. With her out, he could get out of the woods quickly. He nodded to his own thoughts. He picked her up without a problem. She laid in his arms, he honestly couldn't help but to look at her. She was actually beautiful. The growl behind him got him back in reality. He glanced back for a moment before he took off heading home. He knew the house was empty at the moment, Miller and Faith were at work at the hospital.
Emmanuel didn't bother looking back, the wolves were fast but a cheetah couldn't even caught up with him when he was really running. He soon stood at his front door and sighed, he opened the door with one hand and the other he held onto Vee. He closed the door with his foot and took her up the stairs to his room.
He had picked up a few things the thousands of years he had lived and some of the things were medical. He sticted her forehead up while she was sleep, which took only two or three minutes the most. He covered her up and left clean clothes on the bed before he left the room. He went down stairs and laid on the couch.
Vee didn't feel any movement when Emmanuel had picked her up. She just laid in his arms, limp. Her blood now mixing at the edges of her pink hair and getting on him. All that there was while he ran at his fullest speed was darkness. A few hours later, Vee seemed to regain consciousness. She softly groaned as she stirred. Her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Ugh... What time is it? And where am?" Vee asked herself. She moved to sit up. Her head felt heavy, and she didn't feel well. She looked around, and that's when she noticed she wasn't in her room, but in Manny's. Her eyes slightly widen at the memory of the wolf attacking her. But she didn't remember much after she fell. Her hand went up to her forehead, where she had hit her head. Her fingers brushed against stitches, which hurt to touch. She was glad that she had been knocked out when Emmanuel stitched them.... He saved me... The thought stood out in her head. She looks around to see if he was here, but she was alone in his room. She found clean clothing set out. Looking down to hers, her shirt was stained with drops of blood. Her once white pants were covered in dirt and grass stains. Maybe changing was a good idea.
A few minutes later, Vee was in the clothing she had set out. Her dirty clothing were thrown on his bed for now. All she had on her mind was to talk to Emmanuel. She didn't know about what, but she wanted to speak to him. She left his room, her bare feet softly patting down the hallway as she listened to see where he would be.
After a moment of laying down, Emmanuel felt his shirt and realized that some of her blood had gotten on him. He sighed as he sat back up and took the shirt off. He placed it onto the table that was in front of him before he laid back down. He closed his eyes and covered his face with his arm. "Done here.." he said once he heard her footsteps on the hard wood flooring. He didn't move, he stay in the same position. He sighed and waited until he heard her finally come downstairs. He still kept his arm over his face and his eyes closed. It was a enough room on the couch for her to sit, so he knew he didn't need to move. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Before could even reach the stairs, she heard his voice come from down stairs. It was weird how he heard her, but the house was very quite. She finally walked down the steps and into the living room, where she found him sprawled out on the couch shirtless, his arm thrown over his eyes. Her eyes scanned him for a moment, discovering a new tattoo on his lower abdominal. She looked over to his shirt that was on the coffee table, noticing her blood on it. She moved to join him on the couch, sitting at the edge by his legs. Even as he spoke, he didn't look at her. "Yah." She said softly. She looked down to her lap. There was no point at looking at him. He seemed to not want to look at her. She wondered if he was still mad at her. The words from what he said to her flashed back. "You don't know a thing about me.. You should be like the others and just not bother looking at me." She still wanted to know why he had said this to her, but for now she just pushed that away. Instead she said, "Thanks... For saving me." She still didn't look up to him, but played with the sleeve of the shirt he gave her to change into.
Emmanuel sighed as felt her weight add onto the couch. He heard her answer than he heard her thank him. He moved his arm and opened his eyes, he glanced at her. "Your welcome.." he said, he noticed her not looking at him and that stood out since she always looked at him. And that's when he remembered, he sighed as he sat up. He ran his hands through his hair. "I'm sorry for earlier.." he said looking at the floor now. He looked over at her again playing with his shirt sleeves that he put on the bad. "I'm sorry for the size.. I thought you could at least fit that since.. That had been an old shirt." he said with a forceful shirt.
It wasn't like Emmanuel to apologize. Yah she only knew him for what? Three days? Four? But being with him everyday for a couple of hours taught her that he didn't care about people's feelings. Hell, it was hard to miss it really. But here he was, apologizing for what he had said to her at the hill. He had hurt her, that was for sure. So hearing him apologize meant a lot to her. Not to mention the fact that he also saved her. She looks over the shirt he gave her again. It was a bit big on her, but she didn't mind it. It was sweet of him to actually let her were something from his. "It's okay," she assures him. She still didn't look up. She couldn't bring herself to look at him yet. She just say next to him, in silence for a while. All she could do is think. Who knows, he's probably doing that too.
He nodded to her words, he ran his hand through his hair. Apologizeing wasn't him, it never really was. But for some reason he felt like had to her, he kinda just went off on her on the hill. With a clear he'd at least for now, he could see that he was wrong. To her he probably looked like he was having medical break down.
Vee moves to push a strand of her pink hair behind her air, and while doing so she could feel a few stands caked with dried blood. She thought of how horrified she had felt when attacked, and wondered how Emmanuel had managed to get them out of there. The wolf had seemed very angry, and thought for sure he would have attacked him too. But maybe the wolf had listened to him in the end. So she didn't ask him about it. Instead, there was a burning question that had been bothering her ever since he spoke on the hill. A question she wanted to know so badly. She decided to take a chance. What's the worse that could happen? After all, she had almost been killed today. She finally looked up to him, keeping her gaze on him as she spoke. "What was it about?" She asked him. "On the hill.... When you told me I talk like her. Who's this girl? And what do I have to do with her? I understand if you don't want to tell me... But I just to know why you yelled at me like that..." She explains to him, her voice slightly hushed.
He wasn't ready for her questions, he sighed as he stared down at the floor. "Her name was Rebecca.. She was my girl, some time ago." he answered after a moment of thinking. Emmanuel sighed softly, as his memories started coming back. "You really thought, that would stopped loving because of this." she said as she grabbed his face. "I love you, Emmanuel not what you are..." she added, Emmanuel didn't expect for her to be fine with what he was. He thought she would be freaked out and ran away but there she was telling him she still loved him. She was something else. He chuckled and brought her closer to him. "But that explains why you always freezing." she said with a smile. "I got you to warm me up." he said
Emmanuel sighed as he shook his head. "Just some of the things you say, she use to say.." he said keeping his glance at the floor. He didn't want to look up.
Vee listened to him. Now that she was looking at him, he wasn't looking at her. Still, she just watched him explain himself, and what he said, she didn't expect it. In the end, it made sense. The way he got mad on the hill. The reason he doesn't want her talk to him, to look at him. Now that she knew, and she didn't feel hurt anymore. "Oh.." She said softly and looked down. But she was still bothered by the fact that he didn't want her to talk to him, that no one wanted her to talk to them. "Im sorry.. I don't mean to talk like her." She just being herself, he surly knows that. She wondered what happened to Rebecca, but knew it was best if she left that question on asked.
Now knowing, Vee wasn't mad at him. But it didn't make her feel any better about everything that happened today.

-No I haven't... Emmanuel sighed before he spoke. "Its fine... I guess." he said. He glanced up finally but at her. He looked up at the door, he heard the car pull in and sighed. Someone was home but that wasn't right. He knew Miller and Faith was supposed to be working all night. He sighed so he stood up and walked to the door. He opened the door and Faith stood there shocked.
She walked in slowly as she stared at Emmanuel. "I know you didn't skip again.. We talk about this." she said, Emmanuel closed the door and sighed before he nodded and spoke. "I didn't want to go really. So I just skipped, it's not like my grades are gonna drop." he said, Faith shook her head but that when she saw Vee in the corner of her eye. She looked over and raised her eyebrow. "And what about her?" she asked. Emmanuel glanced up at Vee. "She got herself into something.".he said, Faith walked closer and noticed. The outfits she had on. It wasn't hers it was Manuel's." I see that she found herself into your clothes." with her words. Emmanuel rubbed the back of his head knowing where Faith was going with it. Faith noticed the sticking and glanced at Vee than at Emmanuel. "What happen?.. You know what I don't even want to know." she said as shook her head and then she walked up the stairs and into her room. She was soon out the room carrying her doctor bag. She walked downstairs and passed Vee with glancing at her. "I won't tell your father." she said as patted on his chest and walked out the house.
Emmanuel knew she was but, he didn't bother saying it. He sighed as he watched her leave once again. Before he closed the door, he leaned on the door on his back and a crossed his arms.

They spoke about their problems already, him telling her that she reminded of Rebecca, and her telling him how his advice didn't work. She just sat on the couch, playing with his sleeve again. She glanced up to him for a moment when he was looking at her, but before she could smile or say something, there was nose from outside. Emmanuel was already up and at the door.
His mother seemed to be here, which she guesses she wasn't supposed to be here telling by the look on Emmanuel's face. She tried to be polite and looked down, ignoring their conversation. But she still overheard most of it. His mother brought up skipping school first. Then she brought up about how she was in her sons clothing. Vee's cheeks warmed up as she blushed. God why did she have to find us like this, she thought shyly. She didn't blame her. Her son was shirtless and a girl was wearing his clothing. But thankfully she moved. She was about to ask about what happened to her, but she didn't bother, and Vee was kind of thankful for it. She stays quite, and just waited for she to leave.
When she was finally gone and it was just the two of them again, Vee slowly stood up. She noted to herself that she would need to get some painkillers since the pain was settling in now. She faced Emmanuel again, glancing at the floor first before saying, "you don't think she thinks that we.... You know,." She slightly shrugged at the last to words. She didn't want to be known like that, especially by someone's parents.
Emmanuel looked up at her when he heard her voice. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "To be honest... She probably do. I'm gonna get a ear full once they both get home." he said, he lifted off the door and walked over to the couch. "But don't worry age gonna make it seem like it was my fault. So you don't gotta worry about your name being thrown in the dirt. So to speak." he added. As he stopped beside Vee, he glanced at her up and down before headed to the stairs. "Let me go get a shirt and I'll take you home.. Or whatever you need to go." he said before he walked up the stairs.
Vee smiles a little, thankful for him and what he said he'll do. She hasn't smiled since they walked out of school, where she had also been thankful for him when he let her tag along. As he left, she decided to go search for the bathroom. He'll see her dirty clothes she left on his bed and her shoes and hopefully bring them down. For now, she just wanted to see how bad the stitching looks. After a few minutes of searching, Vee found it. With the door still open, she stood before the mirror and examined the injury. "Oh god..." She groans. "That's going to leave a mark." But lucky for her, it was very close to her hair line, so she could always cover it with her hair. She turns on the water and starts to clean any blood she still had in her hair and face.
Emmanuel noticed the things she left in his room. He walked passed into to get a shirt from his closet he got a regular white t-shirt. He put it on and than he got her stuff his hands as he walked out the room. Emmanuel made it downstairs, he placed her stuff on the couch. He frowned once he realized she wasn't in sight. He glanced around and saw nothing. So he started to search for her. He quickly found her in the bathroom. He raised his eyebrow as he leaned on the door fame. "You ready?" he asked.
Vee had finished cleaning up any sign of blood when he appeared in the door way. She turned off the water and stood up straight, looking at him for a moment. "Just a moment," she said. She parted her hair, that way her stitches was covered for now. She looked at herself for a moment in the mirror, finally clean and descent. She faced him, a small smile on her lips. "Not bad with the stitches, could be a little better." She joked with him. Any anger, disappointment or confusion she had earlier with him had left, and she was finally being herself again. She stepped closer to him and said, "where did you learn to stitch?" Then a look of horror flashed through her. "Please tell me I'm not your first person you had tried on?" She watched him wide eyed as she stood before him, looking small when being close to him, and wearing his big clothing.
As he started to drive again, Vee opened up the bag and retrieved the chicken sandwich. Before she could take a bite though, she asked him, "So what are good places to see in this town? I was thinking of checking it out... But I don't know anything about here and there's no one to show me it."
