"No they're fine." Emmanuel spoke softly as he glanced over at the boys. But soon his attention was take to Vee's father. He raised an eyebrow at the random question. He usually wouldn't have answered he would just ignored it or just off from it but he sighed and shock his head before he spoke. "No sir.. Me and my family moved here just last year from out of state." he said, Emmanuel looked over at Vee when something caught is eye. He noticed it was a plate and sighed as he grabbed it and passed onto the next without even bothering to try it.He didn't really care it looked to the others like. He wasn't about try and watched something he knew his body was going to take will. Not for no one, he knew that they probably was gonna have a comment or two. But in his mind they should be lucky that his thrust hadn't gotten out of control.
Vee was a bit shocked when Manny passed the plate without taking anything. She knew he wasn't happy with eating food here, but was it that bad. She was sure her family were wondering the same thing. So she decided to speak to not make things awkward. "You never brought that up to me. I always thought you were raised here." She grabbed another plate to scoop some food. With a mouthful of mash potatoes, Josh said, "did it hurt when you got all those tattoos?" Vee's eyes slightly widened at the question. She kicked her brother from under the table as she glared daggers at him. "Ouch! Mom! Vee kicked me!" Josh pointed at his sister with his spoon.
"Josh, lower your spoon. That wasn't a nice question." She scowled her son before glancing at Manny with an apologetical smile.
Vee attempted to make things comfortable wasn't going so well. She looked over to Emmanuel. She really felt bad about having him go through this. She thought it would have turned out better. Sorry, she mouthed to him.
"Of course not.. You never asked." he said glancing over Vee for a moment before he heard her brothers question. He sighed and watched everyones reaction, he noticed Vee's mother small smile and Vee apologize. But in all honesty, he didn't understand way. Everyone else had already basically assumed what type of person he was from them. So why not ask instead of just looking at him like he was a freak. He glanced from Vee to the boy before he answered him. "The first one I got hurt but after the second one.. I didn't feel anything."he said with a small shrug of a shoulder.
Vee worry melted away and she smiled. It was a good thing Emmanuel didn't care about what people say to him. She went back to eating when Emmanuel spoke. Her little brother, James, said, "They look so cool!" Vee's father looked at his son for a moment before continuing to eat. Soon enough Vee's mother took over and started to speak to her boys about school. Her father pitched in a few times. Vee just ate and looked over at Emmanuel to see how he was going.
-Hey, I was wondering if you would like to do a Step siblings rp? "Thanks.. But don't get any trust me." he said as he looked over Vee's father seeing who he reacted to his son words. Which made Emmanuel lean back into the chair once again and stay quite. He didn't mean the vibe he was getting since it was what he was use to. He glanced over Vee everytime he felt her glare. They locked eyes a few times but, Emmanuel always broke it by looking away. Even if it seemed like he wasn't listening to anything that was going on he was. Every word that was spoken, he heard.
David had been shocked with what Emmanuel said, but just as it showed he hid it. At lest he said one good thing so far. Throughout dinner Vee's family spoke, like they usually did. The boys about school. Her father about his new job. Her mom about what's on the news. Vee said a few words. Not much. But she would look at Emmanuel once in a while. She would catch his gaze for a moment before he looked away. She tried to smile, hoping to make him feel better. He probably hated this.
Everyone finished and the boys left the table. Vee's father whipped at his lips and said to his wife, "the food was wonderful darling." He then moved to stand up. He looked at Emmanuel with a some what kind smile. "It was nice to meet you Emmanuel," with that her father left. Vee got up too, saying, "I'll come later to help mom." She then looked over to Emmanuel to gesture for him to follow her to her room.

-Sure I'm make it. Emmanuel stayed quite through the whole it was no point taking when no one was accessing him. What Miller told him earlier stayed in his thoughts as he watched everyone eat and talk. Until they were all done, he glanced up at Vee's father and nodded. "Yeah." he said, knowing the smile the man wear was fake. Emmanuel wasnt about to agree with him and say that it was nice meet him. When it really wasn't, he watched as he walked off and Vee got to her feet. He nodded to her and got up as well. "Thank you for inviting me to dinner." he said to Vee's mother as he walked passed her to follow Vee.
He walked up the stairs to her and said nothing as he grabbed his hoodie and but it on. He sighed with annoyance, he grabbed his beanie and put it on as well. He then put his hands into the pocket. He sat down and glanced up at Vee.
((Kk))Vee didn't say anything as they left. She just waited until they were in her room. By now the sun was down so she had to turn on the lights for sure. She sighs and watches Emmanuel put on his hoodie and beanie. She moved to join him on her bed, looking at him when he looked at her. "I'm really sorry about that. I didn't think it was going to be awkward. My dad just gets really protective and picky about who I hang with. But I don't let that get in the way. Trust me," she smirks to him. She really liked Emmanuel. She considered him as a friend, and she wasn't going to let her parents stop that. "Trust me they weren't happy when I died my hair pink." She softly laughed at the memory of being yelled at and grounded. She just really wanted to make sure Emmanuel didn't hate her.
"Yeah I can tell.." he said as he stood up and stretch. He glanced out the window and sighed at the moon as it started to shine so bright. It was a full moon tonight, he would usually be up at the hill by now just staring at it. But he was here, he glanced back down at Vee. He could tell she was worried, he smirked and just guessed what it was and spoke on it. "Don't worry I don't find you more annoying than before." he said with a smirk as he ruffled her hair. He moved his hand before she had time to move it herself. "I gotta go though.. I see you at school I guess." he said as he started to walk out her room.

Vee's smile grew when he assures how that he didn't hate her. That's all that mattered for her now. "Stop," she giggled tried to push him away. But he already knew and moved before she could do anything. She moved to fix her hair before looking at him. It was pretty late, so he probably had to go back home. "Careful on your way out, I don't want you to bump into my dad." She joked with him as she stood up. "Bye Manny," she miles to him as she watched him leave her room. She would've walked him out. But he knew his way out and she needed to check her hair before heading down to help her mom.
He heard her and he shook his head at her joke. She actually better hope the he didn't since he want gonna be around her or his wife. It was no reason for Emmanuel to play nicely. He walked down the stairs, he kept his hands in his pocket. He didn't think that he would actually bump into her father so he wasn't really exciting anything so he headed out the front door.

Vee walked out of her last period class. She pushed her pink hair out of her face, which were in curls, but was careful to make sure it still hid her stitches. Her and Emmanuel got to hand in the presentation on time, and was glad to not have to worry about it. Though she started to wonder now that they didn't have a project would he still hang out with her. She did promise him the first day she wouldn't bother him ever again after they were done. Hopefully he forgot about it. Vee went to her locker to put away a few books that she wouldn't need to take home. She closed it and then turned to walk down the hall. Her eyes scanned to see if she would find Emmanuel. I hope he hasn't left already.
Emmanuel went to school, not because he wanted to but because Faith felt like if he didn't than the teachers would start asking get questions. Which Emmanuel knew would have happened since all this teacher are to scare to even speak to him when he is late. He sighed once school was finished, he walked down the hall in a black fit. He didn't feel the need to get all dressed for a say that he didn't even wanna get out of bed. He pulled the black hoodie over his head. Not hiking about Vee at the moment, he just was trying to hurry up and get out the building.
In all black, Vee noticed Emmanuel walking down the hallway. She noticed him heading for the door, so she quickly rushed down the hall towards him. "Manny!" She said as she dismally reached him. She looked up to him now that they were side by side. "You free? I was hoping you can take me to that person." She said with a grin. Vee had stayed up all night thinking about it, and she finally choose what she would do. She really wanted to get a tattoo, and he encouraged her to. It was her body. She could do what she wanted.
He heard the name and automatically knew who it was, he glanced down at her once she was walking beside him he sighed and nodded. "Sure.. He should be there." he said, he was kinda of shocked. He didn't thinking she was gonna actually get tattoo. He smirked softly as he was finally outside, he took his hoodie down and continued walking to his car. Unlocked it and got in, the guys shop wasn't far away. He waited for Vee as usual before he started the car. Once she was inside the car he started the car and drove off.
Vee was happy he agreed and didn't blow her off. So this meant he didn't plan on not talking to her anymore. She followed him outside and towards his car. She pulled the door open and climbed into the passengers seat. Placing her bag by her feet, she pulled the seat belt on and shifted to be comfortable. Her heart was beating quickly in excitement. I'm actually getting a tattoo! I can't believe it! Vee thought to herself. She have to admit though. She was nervous. He did say the first time was painful.
Emmanuel glanced over at Vee, he could tell that she was nervous. He chuckled before he spoke. "Don't think about it that much.. Or you gotta flack out." he said, he knew the feeling of kinda a little nervous about getting a tattoo. It wasn't long before they he made it to the shop. It was small shop, the windows were covered with paper that had tattoo designs. Emmanuel parked the car and got out, he closed the door behind him. After he got out and started walking to the door. He locked the car and glanced back at Vee. "So where you was thinking about having it at?" he asked as he opened the door. The door being opened sat off the bells, he sighed and moved aside so she could come in. He glanced around as he continued walking inside.
He went to the desk and leaned on it. "Manuel!" yelled a girl that came from the back. Emmanuel looked over and raised an eyebrow at the red headed girl, with a face full of freckles. The girl came from around the corner and wrapped her arms around his waist. Emmanuel sighed as he quickly pulled her off. "Hi Rose.. But how many times I gotta tell you, don't do this." he said when he finally got her off him. "Well I'm sorry I just missed you... You haven't been here since your last tattoo." She said as she moved her hair out her face, she placed it behind her ear showing her neck tattoo. "Well yeah.. I been busy but anyway. Is Xavier here?" he asked. Rose nodded and soon she was running back in the back. He sighed and shook his head, he grabbed a book from the corner he opened it and started looking through them.
Rose's words made him realize that it had been a real long time since he got his last tattoo. Which most people never saw since it was in his mouth. "How you doing old friend?" said Xavier as he came from the back, Emmanuel glanced up and spotted a tattooed boy that looked not much older than Emmanuel. "Who said we where friends, Xavier.." Emmanuel said as he went back to the book for a moment.
"So why you here?" he asked but he soon spotted Vee, he smirked in a flirtatious way. "Who the beautiful girl?" he asked, Emmanuel ignored his question. "She wants a tattoo.." he said still looking through the book. Xavier walked around the corner to Vee. "Well I'm guessing she's not your girl.. So what's your name missy" Xavier said, Emmanuel glanced over at Xavier giving him a warning look. "Stop playing with him, Xavier before get hurt obviously she is.. They look cute together." Said Rose. Xavier sighed with disappointment. "Fine.. What kinda of tattoo was you thinking of?" he asked, he across ed his arms and went to his business face.
Vee took his advice and tried not to think much about it. She didn't want to chicken out last minute. But it was a bit harder since they were quite throughout the car drive, just her and her thoughts. Vee looked out the from glass when Emmanuel finally parked. She climbed out with him and checked out the place. So far she wasn't that worried. Vee heard his question when they walked side by side to the door. She was about to answer, but once they walked in and the bell went off, a females voice came from behind the desk. Vee raised her eyebrow in amusement when she found the redhead walk around just to hug him. She smirked at him when he pushed her away. He needed to be more friendly.
A few minutes later Xavir walked out from behind. He was just as much tattooed like Emmanuel, but more. Plus he didn't look much older than Emmanuel. Felt felt her cheeks warm up when he spoke about her, and she was sure she was bulshing brightly. She looked down shyly when he approached her. She was just about to tell him her name before Rose spoke again. She glanced over to Manny before she looked at Rose. She thinks we're a cute couple? Funny since he can barely except me as a friend. "We're not actually dating... Just friends." She looked over to Emmanuel again to see if he would say something about that. But before she could she just moved on.
"I'm Vee," she introduced herself with a big smile as she looked up to Xavir. "And I was thinking of something simple. Just words." Vee pointed to just below her hip, near her bikini line. "Right here. I wanted it to say Rock n' Roll." She had stayed up thinking about it really good. At first she wanted something cute, and maybe with flowers. But then she thought more and wanted a menacing behind it, like Emmanuel had said about his. Maybe some just assumed that it was the simple phrase, nothing more. But really, she choose that in the end because it was her first, and it was because Emmanuel encouraged her to get it. So she wanted to show him she was totally Rock and Roll, and not girly and scared.
Emmanuel couldn't help but her hear say that they were friends. Which was true at least but it was something that he noticed about her for that moment. She seemed to like the attention Xavier was giving her. He said nothing, as he watched the two. But he couldn't help but to laugh. "Really.. Your everything but rock n roll." he said. Rose giggled at his words but he was actually serious. She didn't fit the rock n roll style.
Vee looked at him. Even though he was serious, she had a smirk on her lips. She knew he would say something like that, which was why she was getting the tattoo. To show him she is. "I'm so rock n' roll. Doesn't mean I have pink hair that I'm girly. You saw my room," she reminded him. Maybe she wasn't in the whole rock n' roll style. But she wasn't into the pretty and pink stuff too, besides her hair but that's another story. But her view of rock n' roll wasn't based on the style, but doing things. She would take risk, try new things, be friends sigh people her parents didn't like. Rock n' roll to her meant doing things crazy things, and that's all she was about.
She looked back to Xavir and said confidently, "That's what I want."
"Alright, come back here." Xavier said as he passed by Emmanuel and Rose to walk in the back. In the back was different sits, he walked passed three of them before he walked to one. "Come sit here." he said as he patted at the chair and sat on a smaller chair right next to it. He got his paper and pen as he draw up a simple style. A style he felt fit her but still were what she wanted it to say. "Is this what you wanted?.. Right?" he asked, he could tell from her apprance that she was young. So he didn't need to ask her and plus she came with Emmanuel, who came to him because he was underage.
Vee glanced once more to Emmanuel before she followed Xavir to the back. She thought Emmanuel would have said something to her. But he didn't. She sat in the third seat where Xavir told her too. She stayed quite and watch him sketch out what she asked for. When he presented it to her, she looked very pleased. "That's exactly what I want," she looked up to him then back down to the sketch. I'm really getting a tattoo! I can't believe I'm doing this. Going thing I was saving money so I don't have to ask my parents for some. He didn't even ask if I have permission. I guess he knows. She was still having a hard time believing this was going to happen. Her stomach felt twisted, both with happiness and fear. She took a deep breath pushed away the nervous feeling. For a moment she thought of having Emmanuel with her, but maybe it was best if he wasn't. Especially if she was getting it where she asked.
Emmanuel was in the front but he was going go in the back with Vee but he was looking for a new tattoo. He spotted one that he thought was good. He took the page out the book before he closed it. He walked passed Rose without saying or seeing that she was actually sad that he hadn't noticed that was standing by him. He kept waking until he was where Xavier and Vee where at. He grabbed a chair and sat next to Vee. "Let me guess you won't something too?" Xavier asked as he glanced over at Emmanuel once he sat down. He nodded and grave the page to Xavier, who smirked and nodded."But you can do Vee first since mine will take longer." he added.
Vee looked up when she saw movement near them. She found Emmanuel joining them, a page in his hand. She looked over it when Xavir looked at it. Wow, she thought to herself and looked over to Emmanuel. She was amazed at how way it was for him to just decided to get a tattoo like that. She then looked at Xavir, knowing she was about to start. I could do this, she thought to herself. She wondered how they were going to start if she was getting the tattoo below her hip closer to her to her bikini line. ((Do we time skip?))

((Kk))They were finally out and in the road. Vee had her tattoo done and so did Emmanuel. It took a few a while to get them done. But she didn't mind the wait. She actually watched as Emmanuel had his done. Unlike him, Vee was in pain. Maybe not much, but it still hurt. Yet in the end, she was very satisfied with it. She couldn't stop smiling. She wanted to look at it every second, but her would have to lower her shorts a bit, so she forced herself to wait until she got home.
Emmanuel drove, he git the tattoo on the arm that barley had anything on it. That arm was laid on the door, it kinda took longer than he thought but he couldn't complain since it was a detailed tattoo. Emmanuel was actually shocked how well Vee handle the tattoo, even he could tell that she was in pain. But she didn't cry which he had seen a lot of. He stopped at red lights from time to time but he never really talked. It was nothing to really talk about at least to him it wasn't.
Vee was playing with the ends of her pink hair as she stared out the window. It was a nice day today, perfect for checking out the town. But she still didn't find the person to do that with. She tried asking Emmanuel, but he said he didn't know the town himself. Plus it wasn't like she could ask someone else since everyone at school wasn't talking to her. Maybe she should convince Emmanuel one day that they can check out the town together. She mentally noted that to herself for a another time. Playing with her hair, Vee thought about the stitches. She looked over to him when he came to a stop and asked, "so will you take out the stitches your self or what?"
"What?" he asked but he soon realized what she was talking about and shrugged his shoulders. "If you want me too, I guess." he answered as he glanced over at her. But he soon heard a car horn bow. He glanced back at the car and frown before he glanced in front of him. At that moment he realized that the red light had turned green. He sighed before he started driving once again.
"I mean not now though. When it's fully healed." She adds before facing forward. She didn't know much about stitches, but she knew that they were usually cut by a doctor after at least two weeks. She continued to play with the ends of her pink hair. God the rest of the day is going to be boring. Maybe I should ask him if we can hang. He'll probably say yah. Vee but her lip for a moment before looking over to him. She finally decided to ask, "Hey Manny, do you think we can hang out and check out the town. I really want to see new places here and since you said you don't know any... I was thinking we could do it together...?" She smiled in the end, hoping and praying he would agree.
((Maybe we can have a moment for them, today or tomorrow, that could remind him of Rebecca or something. so he has less of a reason to kill her))

Emmanuel was shocked that she asked. He sighed softly as he thought about it. Maybe I could finish her off while we are out. he thought to himself. He stopped at another red light. He shrugged before he spoke. "That's fine with me I guess." he said. "Which way do you want to start off at then?" he asked as he leaned back in his sit.
A grin broke out onto Vee's lips. What?! He actually said yes! Vee really didn't except him to agree. Maybe things really were different between them. He could see the happiness in her. She turned her head to see where they were. She didn't know where they were, and didn't know anything about what was here. But as she looked around, she decided to say, "why don't we walk down the street and look around?" She looked back to him. "Just find some place to park."
He could tell how happy she was from who she grinned at he answered her. He watched her look around and sighed when she gave him her answer. He nodded, he started driving once again. It wasn't long before he found a parking spot. He turned off the car and he glanced at his arm, he pocked at it. Thinking he would feel a little pain like he use to but it was nothing there. No feeling at all, shrugged his shoulders as he got out the car and closed the door behind him. And like always he waited for Vee, before he locked it up. He glanced around before he looked over the top of the car to see Vee. "Which way you wanna start?" he asked, he never stopped her or anywhere that was between school and his house. While he did but wasn't exactly looking for a place to chill and relax in fact. Half they time he was put looking for his meal, he never paid attention to where he was. He just let his nose lead the way not his eyes. So even though he had been around the town for a long time, he never had a reason to talk or really do anything that was human except go to school which was out his well. But Vee seemed to be changing that slowly but not for long, she would soon be done with everything would go back to normal.
Vee waited for him to park before she climbed out of the car. She left her bag in there, and just took her phone. She looked around the street they were in. Just looking down, she could see many shops buildings for all different types of things. She looked at him before she pointed to a question. With another glance around, she pointed toward the streets that seemed to have more things placed out. "Let's go this way." She said to him as she walked around the car to meet with him. She started to walk, her eyes moving from one building to another. She took in the place, looking at the many shops there was. Grocery store that had a few vegetables out for viewing on this nice day. Baker shop that was very tempting to go in and buy something. Liquor store. Boutiques. Newsstands. There were so many things, and she loved looking at them. She glanced over at him, wondering if he was even acknowledging the place like she was. "God this place is so nice. There's so many shops." Vee spotted an antique shop. "Oh! Can we go in there? Please," Vee asked him. She loved checking a out things in those shops.
In all honesty, Emmanuel wasn't even paying attention to the different type of shoes and what they out and all that extra stuff. He had his hands in his pocket like always and he was just walking but the sound of Vee voice git his attention. He glanced over at her and around tryibg to see what are saw but to him they were inky buildings that had unimportant stuff in them. He glanced back over her as he spoke. "What's so amazing about them there stows..." he said with a shrug of a shoulder. But he noticed her eye light up and sighed as he glanced over to see what she was talking about, he sighed once again at the sight the store. "Really... Fine come on." he said as he noticed his head in the direction of the store.
Vee waited, and for a moment thought he was actually going to say no. But I'm the end he actually agreed. She smiled happily when she started to walk with him. "There so cool! The little things you can find in there that could be years old. I don't know, it just fanatics me." She explained to him. "Here watch," she said once they reached the store. They walked in, a small bell ringing to announce their appearance. Immediately she was greeted by the familiar smell of d stuff. Their were furniture, lamps, jewelry. Right next to them was a table with a few hats, one being a top hat. Vee lifted it up and set it on his head with a smirk, not even asking for his permission. She stepped back to look at how he looked, but noticed something. "Wow, you really look like that guy in the picture." She tells him about the one that was in the photo book. "The one with the girl in the background."
Some of the stuff she said gad actually went in one war and out the other. But he still followed behind her as he walked in, his eyes wondered around d for a moment before he felt something on his head, he glanced over in Vee's direction. He raised his eyebrow when she spoke not realizeing what she was talking about. Until she brought up Rebecca. "Pft we were family soo of course we do." he said he then sighed as he took the hat off and he glanced at it. It did look like the hat he wear in the picture, he smirked as he thought of day of the picture. "It looks great on you." she said as he sighed and rolled his eyes. "You think everything looks great on me" he said as he turned around to face her. "That's because your so adorable.." she said as she poke his ice cold cheek. She had gotten use to his frozen cold body. And now she touched him ever chance she got. "Whatever you say.. I'm not wearing this." he said as he started to take it off, he glanced up at Rebecca and she had a crossed her arms. "Really? Here and now.." he said as he glanced around at people walking by. "Yess because it's gonna be very important party." she said as she pouted knowing that it was Emmanuel weakness, at least back then. He sighed as he nodded "Fine but once the party is over, I'm taking it right off.. Okay?" he said, she didn't even care she got what she wanted she kissed his cheek and she smiled from ear to ear. Emmanuel rolled his eyes and sighed, she was annoying from time to time but he loved.
Emmanuel sighed as he put the hat down. He said nothing else as he just put his hands back into his pockets and walked off.
"It looks great on you," she said to him as he took it off, knowing he probably thought otherwise. He really did look like the guy in the picture, but with tattoos and modern clothing. It was so weird. She didn't say anything afterwards and just went around looking at things. She looked at the jewelry and the lamps. She checked out the old vintage dresses. God she was a sucker for these things. She didn't take long though, because she knew he wasn't to interested, so a few minutes later she decided to say, "We can leave now." She waited for him to start leaving.
Emmanuel was looking at some old pictures, tryibg to get over his thoughts that was filling his mind. It was like half of him was over what happened but the there, simple couldn't let it go. She had changed him the years they were together and at the end when he lost her he end up being something worse error than he was before he meet her. Vee's voice through Emmanuel off, glanced back at her nodded, he placed down a painting. He was walking out when he spotted something familiar, it was a bracelet on a corner. He stopped in his tracks and walked over to it, not even saying anything to Vee. "Can I see that bracelet.." he said as he point at it through the glass, the owner nodded with a friendly smile that Emmanuel was to busy to see. Once it was in his hands, he couldn't help but to be full of emotion. It was a bracelet that he thought he would never see again. "Its her bracelet." he said softly to himself, it was the bracelet that had he specially made for her. She never took it off, she actually had it on in the picture that Vee was talking about. He handle it tight in his hands as he spoke. "Never thought I would see this think again." he added.(view spoiler)
Vee started to follow him, at least until he stopped. She watched him, wondering what he was looking at. Before she could ask, he was already walking again. He went up to the glass case where he asked the cashier for a bracelet. She stood next to him, watching him as he took it and held it. She then heard him speak to himself. Her? Oh... It must be that girl he was with. The one he told me about on the hill. Even if she was thinking of a girl that he must have been with a year ago or something, she was still right about it being Rebecca, and she felt really bad to have him find something of hers when he still has feelings for her. She stood by his side, wondering if she should do or say anything. She looked from it, only having one thing in mind. "It's really beautiful," she admits.
"Yeah.. She was a go big or go home type of girl." he said with a smirk. The owner chuckled at his joke. "Ain't all girls now this days." he said, Emmanuel glanced up and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really talk to girls now.. Or people period." he said quickly before he glanced back down at the bracelet. "Took me a long time to get made.." he added softly not thinking he was talking loud. "Sorry.. You wanted go right?" he said, he sighed as he handed back to the owner who put it back in the glass. Emmanuel watch for a moment before he walked off.
Vee smiled. He really loved her if he went big, and actually had the bracelet made for Rebecca. She ignored the men's statement about how all women were like that and just followed him out the shop. The bell rang above their heads when they opened the door and stepped out. Finally they were out back onto the street. They were a few other people. A girl and a boy probably the same age as her and Emmanuel holding hands as they walked on the opposite side of the street. Two ladies sitting outside the cafe laughing. Sellers stood at their stands, and one of them was a stand of roses. "Awe. I love roses." She walked over to the stand where an old lady stood. Vee touched the red petals. She looked like a child that stood a candy store. "Their my favorite flowers." She picked one up and brought it to her nose to smell.
The old lady, who was selling the roses, smiled at Vee before she spoke to Emmanuel. "A beautiful rose for a beautiful girl, don't you think?" She encouraged him to buy one for her.
Emmanuel was back into his only little world once they got outside. He frown for a moment when his eyes needed time to get use to the sunlight. It was somethings that being a vampire couldn't fix, he sighed as he walked beside Vee not noticing the humans in the least but he didn't hear Vee speak about loving roses, which had him glance open he followed her to the stand and he watched her eyes of light as she looked at the roses.He glanced over at the woman and sighed knowing what she meant and she was kinda of right about one thing. Vee was beautiful, he didn't believe that the flower was. It was just something that was gonna dead in a few days but he sighed and nodded. "Let me get a rose.." he said as he pulled out money from his pocket. He got enough out of the ball of money for the flower and put the rest back. The woman smiled and headed him a rose, he took it in his hands actually scared that he was gonna break it I'm two. "Vee.. Here you go." he said as he handed her the rose once she glanced up at him.
"Don't say that Vee," her mother said to her as she took a seat. She then started to pass the food around everyone to put some on their plates. "Quite down boys. We have a guest." David looked from the his boys to Emmanuel, catching him looking at Vee before smirking. He was getting a bit protective. So he decided to speak. "So Emmanuel. Have you lived in the town your whole life?"
Vee grabbed one of the plates and started to scoop some into her plate before passing it to Emmanuel. She couldn't stop smiling because she knew how her father was when it came to boys. He wanted to know everything about the boy his daughter is hanging out with.
